This was a great experience!
I know Mike from around, but I've never seen him in action
before
doing the dating-coach thing. He's sharp, cool & knows
his stuff, and
isn't shy about sharing it, and he does it in a
non-critical kind of
way. That kept the group energy high all night (four hours+
!).
All the guys were great. Z. is absolutely fearless, and
started off
the evening by stopping a girl dead in her tracks with his
opener.
Kept her grinning right up until he got her contact info.
J, The Tall Guy, displayed subdued grace & energy as he
met
challenge after challenge.
E, who's pretty new to all this, soaked it all up &
applied it
without hesitation, especially doing that approach on the
married gal.
That was a hard walk-up.
For me, this was just what I needed, since I was trying to
shake a
slump I've been in. I felt recharged, & had no trouble
doing a few
walkups on the street the following day.

Hi guys,
Like the others who posted, Saturday's workshop was hell of
a lot of
fun for me, too. My biggest realization was how much of my
game is
about my INNER STATE, which is directly affected by the
energy of the
group. Before the workshop, I had developed massive
approach anxiety
lately (usu. around discouraging Average Frustrated
Chump friends), and that's hard to
believe after seeing myself on Saturday. Remembering I
showed up at
the workshop in not particularly high spirits, the credit
goes to
Mike for motivating us into the right state of mind, and
the rest of
the crew for being such an awesome crew to hang with.
Although one-on-one coaching is probably better for finer
in-set
sticking points, I think workshops like this are great for
getting
over body language, vocal projection and approach anxiety
issues.
Mike did a good job, despite the wide range of levels in
our group
(you can see that from his conclusion that he should do
more
specialized groups :) ). For me, my main expectation was to
be forced
into sets, and I just found myself opening left and right.
This being
a group workshop, I didn't get a chance to have Mike listen
in with
me in long sets to address my attraction game, but he gave
some good
pointers on that based on what I told him. And he
demonstrated some
useful stuff -- e.g. I knew to give girls a spin, but
didn't realize
how easy until he came into my set, spun the girl I was
talking to
and pulled out!
One of many memorable sets was my last 2 set in the
club. When
I had to leave to catch my train, they were screaming "He's
so much
fun!" and "Please come back!" Those are the best things
I've heard
while sarging so far. Oh, and somebody please
he-bitch-man-slap me
for not closing those.
Mike, I hope your dad's operation went all right, man. And

Just want to say I really enjoyed our time together the
other night having a chance to pick
your brain about ( various methods of pick up and
seduction ) and straight up
hypnosis. Getting a chance to show
you what I know and getting your input was very helpful. It
was a real motivating factor to
getting out in the field on a regular bases. I appreciate
your time and it was
definitely worth it.

Hey,
As most of you guys are aware Mike conducted a infield
workshop last
night. It was a lot of fun.. Before I go further on that I
will give
you some background on myself.
From India, touring NYC have been reading about this stuff
for a few
months now. To be honest, I am too lazy.
Mike asked me to point out my weaknesses and strength,
before I
started and also the areas that i want to improve from this
workshop. Well I pointed out openers and closing as my
weaknesses.
Location was decided 14th St Union Sq. I was early to the
venue. 8 o
clock. I just walked all around the place till 8:45 and
then gave a
call, Mike comes to the place where I am and from then the
workshop
starts. Slowly one by one the rest of the guys join. so we
are 5
guys including Mike now.
we go upstairs to get a cup of coffee and while we are
having coffee
and discussing stuff.. Mr Zeee opens a 2 set. that was his
first set
for the day and doesn't go far. Mike points out his
attributes.. good
Alpha body language, voice projection. Later while the book
shop was
getting closed Zee opens another girl. HBReligiousStudies.
She was
totally into the conversation and Zee ends up number
closing her.
Mike demonstrated his style of saying bye to a girl. Also
he told us
how to do the number close + leaving a voice mail
instantly.
Then we were walking on the pavements towards Virgin music
store.
Mike sees a mouse in the shopping window. He was talking
about how
one can use that as an opportunity to open. Mr. Beads opens
a
lone wolf. It kind of goes ok. Mike said Mr Beads has a
height
advantage and he is peacocked, so girls will check him out
coz of
those attributes which he can use for his advantage. He
pointed out
that he needs to work on his body language like not leaning
in.
we walk further down Mr. ArtIntstructor sees a cute girl
sitting and
reading a newspaper. So he sits down looking at the news
paper and
does a situational opener and gets in.. He is really good
as far as
situational openers are concerned. Soon it turns out to be
a 2 set
and Mike sends me to buy Art more time. So, I go there and
start off
something like.. looks like you guys are giving my friend a
lot of
trouble.. and art says.. no they are abusing me pinch her
for me...
and the girls laugh at that.. and i start of on who lies
the most
opener and some situational stuff like how i was walking
down the
road and some guy stuffed the chris tucker CD.. do u know
who Chris
Tucker is.. blah blah blah.. and before I would know some
guy blows
a whistle somewhere far away and the girl's state is broken
and she
ejects with her friend saying we gtg.. not bad for a
starter..
hehehe..
Then we enter Virgin.. Zee is on a roll opening a 2set
across the
street and Art wings with him.. they eject out later and it
happens
that the girls were 12 !!! but they didnt look like that
young.. By
this time Mike knows that Zee and Art are pretty good at
opening,
they dont need much attention and he told them to try their
stuff
while he concentrated on us. He then took us around the
place.. I
manage to open another woman..situational opener.. she was
just
checking out stuff.. so the conversation doesnt go further
i eject
out. After that Mike opens a blonde.. It doesnt go that
well.. She
doesnt respond much.. The reasons were many there. 3 guys
surrounding a girl and one guy talking.. She was very
uncomfortable
about that. Mike said hey thats the worst that can happen
usually.
She didnt buy that stuff.. and more over she observed us
walking
around the place talking to women.. the reasons were that..
We walk a bit... Beads opens up another chick and she
happens
to be from Denmark... and the conversation goes on really
well..
Beads leads her into the group saying she wants to get
around the
town.. Mike takes the lead here and moves her out of
Virgin.. She
enjoyed the conversation Beads had gotten her attention and
he would
have number closed her.. According to Beads he didnt feel a
connection with her so he didnt want to take the number..
Meanwhile Art and Zee are having a ball opening women in
Virgin.
Mike asks me to open an Asian with the opener. Hey I am
sorry I am
late you know its the mad traffic, I am your date. And she
says I am
waiting for my husband... I just laugh and say..
thank you and walk
back.. Art said that was fast.. what did she say.. when i
said that
Art said probably she is doing shit test on you. you should
have
said ohhh I am your husband.
so then we get into Coffee bar. Mike said this is a very
tough
place.. Reasons 1. Music is too loud 2. Women are models...
so the
BS is gonna be really high. He said make the best use of it
and push
yourself further. Zee excels here too.. opens up a 4 set
and then
later a 2 set.. and the 2 set really gets into the stuff..
By the
end of it they were grabbing for him.. Art does it really
smoothly
opens up a girl waiting for the drink gets the drink with
her and
does a cool hand lock cheers with the drinks. Later in a
high power
environment talks to a curly haired girl and does a email
close.
Meanwhile Mike takes me around and introduces me to a
waitress..
and we do run some game on her. She was responding to it
and it was
pretty cool. Mike saw that Art needs some help, so gets
into the 2
set with him and blocks the CB. It was pretty cool..
By this time it was 1 o clock and Zee had to leave. We come
out of
the club. By the way the waitress was responding.. it
would have been
possible to take things further..
Later we come out and Mike changes the gear and he asks Mr
Beads to
open a set and let him in and he will handle it. That was
it Beads
opens up a 2 set sitting. (This is in front of the Union
Square
park) and gets Mike in. Mike gets into the flow with them..
I hear
him talk about stuff.. This guy was really in a flow.
Creating a
connection.. vibing with them.. building comfort.. like it
was
the shit.. Then later he asks me to open a walking 2 set..
which I
do with a who lies the most opener. It doesnt go that well
as the
set was moving talking in the mobile waving for a taxi.
Mike does
make the girls giggle.
so then I split from them and head to my hotel. On the way
back in
the train I see 3 opportunities. 2 I let go.. the third one
I try
opening at the station.. and it bombs.. she just walks off
as if she
didnt hear me.. I just brushed it off and walked to my
hotel not
bothering about that..
Observations about the instructor:
He is good. Has a good voice, very talkative and of all the
things
he knows how to lead a conversation..All in all he covered
most of
the stuff.. which he says is registered unconsciously in my
mind.
My learnings from this workshop:
One has to lead the conversation.. Take me from guys if you
want to
get good at it.. .lead lead lead.. the pacing part is in
built in
most of us.. but it is the leading part and thats what is
my next SP
apart from opening.
My Positive assets.
1. my body language
2. I am a tourist, so easy to open.
The attributes I need to work on.. - Mike will send a mail
on that
one.. ;)
What could have been better:
Mike should have demonstrated his game in the beginning
than doing
it in the end. There were times when he bailed out from
opening coz
his instincts said not to.. which people will usually take
the other
way.
Pushing the guys into the set some more.. There are usually
lazy
people like us who need that extra push.. in my case i
leeched on
other's energy and did it. but if i had to do it all alone
now.. I
will chicken out.
Well I am typing this whole stuff after sleeping for 3
hours.. I
didnt get enough sleep, my mind was kind of getting settled
with so
much information. the workshop didnt expand my reality..
and it did
break some myths. The game is all about reading the micro
signals
which is coming out from the women. and it is about reading
those
signals and using it for ones advantage. Well there is a
lot to
learn here. like the way Beads puts it. I am not in this
game for
laying all the women.. it is about pushing myself as much
as
possible and learning as much stuff as possible.
Will I take the workshop again ???

definitely worth the nominal fee to get some good advice.
Started out doing basic exercises and seeing how all of the
concepts I read tie together,
I now have some things to practice on my own and I
plan to meet up with him again and take it to the next
