How I felt before:

    Prior to this semester, I was completely against block scheduling.  I thought that it was a horrible idea.  I went to schools that did not use block scheduling.  When my high school tried to add one long block period a day, it was a fiasco, because the teachers did not know how to use 90 minutes for a class.  I could never sit still that long in school.  I also could not concentrate for that long on a lecture, which some teachers tried to give.  For these reasons, I was against block scheduling.
