I reguarly write reviews of books and movies, mostly for my own pleasure, and occasionally for consumption by my friends. Some of them (the reviews, not the friends) are collected here.
Be aware that I am not attempting to educate anyone, or make profound statements. If you don't like either the style or the substance of my reviews, just get stuffed.
Also be aware that since the reviews were often targeted at specific people (and sometimes at a single person), they will contain many in-jokes, sly-references, nudge-nudge wink-wink say-no-mores, and other examples of prior knowledge requirements. So, if you cannot understand something, just keep reading (I do not have the time to explain everything in full), or else send me large amounts of money along with a SASE.
