| Odion is Marik's right hand man. As a child he was abandoned. Marik's and Ishizu's parents adopted him (this was before Marik and Ishizu had been born). At the age of twelve, Odion would have gone through a ritual passing to him the knowledge of the Ishtar family if Marik and Ishizu hadn't been born before the ceremony. Marik and Odion were good friends and their was a bond between them. Odion was the reason that Yami Marik was supressed. Odion gave Marik six locator cards and both of them entered the Battle City Finals. He pretended to be Marik. His first opponent was Joey. Odion lost to Joey. After Odion lost to Joey the bond broke and Yami Marik was unleashed. Yami Marik tried to send Odion's mind to the shadow realm, but Ishizu took Odion away and hid him. During the final duel, Odion woke up. he knew that his master was in danger, so he immeadiatly ran to the top of the tower. Yami Marik saw him and used the Millenium Rod to push him away. After the duel was over, Odion was reunited with his master. Ishizu, Marik, and Odion then went back to Egypt. |
