| The Millenium Rod belonged to the Ishtar family. After Yami Marik was born, he used it to banish Marik's father's mind into the shadow realm. Marik then claimed it as his own. Marik used it control the mind's of his rare hunters. He used it to send Rare Hunter and Arkanas' mind into the shadow realm after they failed him. He used it to control Strings against Yugi. He later used it to send Umbra's mind to the shadow realm. He then used it to take control of Joey, even though Joey was able to fight back and win. After Yami Marik lost to Yugi, Marik gave it to Yugi. |
