Rules of the Krath Summoning the Force. The Krath harness the force in the same manner as all other typical force users, following the force rules set forth by the GE. However, the usage of Krath powers varies slightly from the atypical usage of a force power. Krath is a being that exists outside of time and therefore has knowledge of the future and past. Krath has much power to influence the physical world, but without the smaller more focused vision of mortals, Krath cannot direct his power effectively and so the followers of Krath must learn how to determine Kraths will and how to channel the power of Krath to effect the real world. The knowledge of how to gain access to this power and of how to share in Kraths trans-temporal knowledge is known as the Lore of Krath. The Lore of Krath is explored through meditation, with followers of Krath exploring the enigmatic and complex mind of Krath in an effort to better understand its mysteries. As followers gain deeper understanding of Krath, they become more powerful and closer to the spirit of Krath, and are said to have progressed along the Path of Krath. *That is why all but one of Kraths powers are non-combat powers. Using a Krath power requires the person have done direct RP exploring the Lore of Krath on that specific power before hand and must be able to produce post numbers to that affect should they be requested. Gaining a level in the Krath ways only allows you the ability to learn the powers. It is not an automatic free pass to use them. Force Power Limitations. Any player choosing to play as a Krath is limited in which force powers they can use. At the beginning of a Kraths journey they are able to harness all neutral force powers and all darkside powers, and all Krath Powers. As a Krath progresses and attains a deeper understanding of Krath limitations are reached. The ability to use DarkSide powers extend only to the level of a Krath Warrior (level 4 Dark Jedi). Once that pinnacle is reached certain penalties are extracted on a Krath. The only other powers that Krath will allow a Krath follower to learn from that juncture is Empower with the DarkSide and Transfer life, and its only by sheer will of the Krath that learning these powers is possible. The Krath god looks down on those followers who use the DarkSide. He watches his worshippers carefully making sure they only follow him. Walking too much towards the darkside is disloyal to the God Krath and he may choose to ignore your calls to him, never to share anymore secrets of the Krath with a disloyal follower. Krath is weary of the ancient Sith, there spirits, and their followers and fear they wish to steal the secrets of the Force that he has gained to us for themselves. Walking the DarkSide leaves a Krath open to being manipulated and used by the Sith so its with great caution that a Krath follower uses the powers of the Sith and the DarkSide for fear of Kraths mighty wraith. It is at Level 7 when a Krath is on the verge of becoming a Master of the Force, the DarkSide, and a Krath Lord. When this occurs the god Krath has granted unto his most loyal servants the ability to harness one aspect of the ancient Sith. In a dealing with the Sith Lords and Krath the ability for his followers to extend there working knowledge of the Force, Krath attained the knowledge and teachings to instill into his worshippers the ability to learn the Entire school of Sith Illusions. However, the Krath god is careful what he allows his most loyal to learn. Even though a Krath is very capable to learn other aspects of the DarkSide and the Sith ancient lore, it is strictly forbidden. A Krath who violates the system risks angering the god Krath, who has been known to strip his followers of the ability to harness his powers. *Its a Force GMs discretion but a Krath follower who continuously uses the darkside powers, and/or Sith Powers can be stripped of his ability to use any Krath force powers. The duration of time is up to the GM but a general rule of thumb is anyone caught using any Sith powers beyond the school of Illusions, or Dark Side powers above level 4, excluding Transfer Life and Empower with the DarkSide, will be permanently banned from using Krath powers. For excessive use a general banishment is usually 1 week to 1 month depending on the severity of the actions. Section I. A Krath follower who elects to go through the Ritual of Initiation and survives will be appointed a Priest (or above) and assigned to the care of that individual. The Priest assigned will review the persons background history and studies submitted by the applicant, regarding his worship of Krath. At this point the Priest assigned will decide if the applicant is worthy to begin the Rite of Passage. Section II. Becoming and Initiate- to become an Initiate and receive training in the ways of the Krath a member must have been an active participate in a Temple of the Krath before being selected for training. After being accepted by there Priest and deemed worthy the follower will begin the Rite of Passage. Having received formal training in another sect of the Force excludes all members from receiving the Rite of Passage. Section II Paragraph 2. The exception to this rule is those being chosen explicitly by Krath to receive formal training. Section II paragraph 3. Following the Rite of Passage the new Initiate must invoke the Calling of Souls before delivering the killing blow required in the Rite of Passage. Section III. After the right of passage is completed the Priest must begin further instructions in the ways of Krath. Mediation and training exercises are mandated for all new Initiates. Instruction in how the Initiate opens themselves up to Krath so that he might enter their souls and give them the powers they seek is the first step in training. Once the apprentice has advanced to a sufficient level and the Priest feels he has fulfilled the requirements of an initiate, with a sufficient knowledge of Krath and the Order of Krath, the Initiate may be allowed to join the Krath Warriors. Bearing in mind Section IV. Section III Paragraph 2. If at any point an initiate isnt living up to the responsibilities of the Order of the Krath the Priest incharge of training the initiate may declare the Right of Vengeance. Section IV. To become a Krath Warrior, you have to give your reasons for choosing Krath, how the spirit of Krath chose you and how youll survive the ordeal. Section V. A Krath Priest has a right to demand any Initiate that has advanced to become a Krath Warrior join him/her/it in a life bond. If a Warrior refuses to bond with a Priest the Rite of Vengeance may be declared. Section V Paragraph 2. The Krath Priest who advanced the Initiate to Warrior status has the first rights to share a life bond with a Warrior. Any Priest who attempts to deny that right must Declare the Rite of Cleansing or is subject to the Rite of Vengeance by any member of the Order of the Krath for a duration of 1 standard month (30 days). Section VI. The Krath Warrior has the right to seek formal training and instruction in using and constructing a lightsaber or lightbow. The warrior must be given that opportunity within 1 standard month (30 days) after reaching Warrior status by the Krath Priest who oversaw his Initiations. Section VII. No Krath Warrior will be allowed to advance to Priesthood without being Life Bonded to an active Krath Priest. Section VII Paragraph 2. The exception to this rule is those being chosen by Krath. Section VIII. Any Krath has a right to declare the Rite of Vengeance, at any time or at any place, against any unbonded Krath. Section VIII Paragraph 2. Should a Krath choose to invoke Section VIII the intended target has a right at any time to declare, by speaking out loud, the Rite of Cleansing to protect himself and show his loyalty to the Order of Krath. This must be honored or the Krath will be dishonored and imprisoned. Section IX. Before a Krath Warrior may become a Priest they must choose to go through the Rite of Communion. It is during this Rite that part of Kraths power is passed into the prospective member, and gives them a deeper understanding of Krath, which in turn makes them better to decipher the Lore of Krath. Section X. All Krath Priests are required to know and be able to teach the Lore of Krath to Initiates and Warriors. (Teaching level 4 Krath) Section XI. Unauthorized teaching of Krath is an automatic penalty of death and their soul, in the Ritual of the Calling of Souls. ![]() |
