Krath Awareness We all inhabit in a living world, yet few of us take notice of that world. The sky above our heads, the ground on which we walk, the buildings around us, the people that walk by and the feelings and experiences within ourselves.To be aware you must take everything in, even if you have to constantly revisit the same things over and over again. When you walk down a street you have travelled down many times before, we become complacent, we believe we know everything about that place and we walk by without thinking about it. We do not observe where we are or take note of it anymore. We can see this effect within ourselves when you walk down a new path for the first time, and then on subsequent times. The first time we travel that new path it seems to take us longer, we find ourselves looking more and taking it all in. Walk that path again we begin to look less and it seems quicker and easier to travel that path. To be aware you must look at all times, be aware at all times. Look at the people, who is there, take a moment to make some kind of mental notes about them. The things that are around, are they any different from last time, has anything changed. If you are aware of the situation then you are better able to deal with anything that takes us surprise.
