| ITEMS: Half masks (like the Lone Ranger wore) Elmers glue Feathers Sequins Glitter Rickrack yarn Anything else you can think of DIRECTIONS: Gather around the table with one mask per person. Spread out the goodies you've found to use for decorating the masks and pass the glue. |
| RIM OF BLOOD CUPS |
| ITEMS: Corn Syrup Red food coloring Cups or glasses DIRECTIONS: Pour some corn syrup into a shallow bowl. Tint with a couple of drops of red food coloring. Dip the rim of your cups/glasses in the tinted syrup and slowly spin upright. The syrup will drip down the sides like blood and then set. Fill the cups or glasses with apple cider or your favorite party drink. You guest's lips will be stained pink just like a vampire after drinking blood. |
| SPIDER WEB PAINTING |
| ITEMS: White paint Black construction paper Marbles Aluminum pie pans DIRECTIONS: Fill a small bowl with water-based white paint. Drop in the marbles to coat. Cut circles out of black constuction paper that will fit into the pie pans. Put a circle in a pie pan. Scoop a couple of marbles out of the paint bowl with a spoon and drop them onto the construction paper. Roll the marbles around by tilting pan. The white paint trails make spider webs. When the paint is dry, put a spider sticker in middle. |
| CREEPY CANDY HANDS |
| ITEMS: Clear plastic gloves (try a beauty supply store) Orange and black taffy Candy Corn Gumdrops Any other kind of candy you like Popcorn Orange and black ribbon Spider rings DIRECTIONS: Stuff candy down into the fingertips of a plastic glove and then fill the glove with popcorn. Tie the wrist shut with ribbon. Add spider rings to some of the fingers for a goulish touch. |
| HANGING GHOSTS |
| ITEMS: White falt sheet 15 plastic grocery bags Twine Scissors DIRECTIONS: To make the head, stuff 14 plastic grocery sacks inside one bag. Tie the handles of the outer bag together in a knot. Put the center of the sheet over the head, gather together at the base of the head and tie with twine. Use the scissors to cut strips along the bottom of the sheet to give it a ragged look. You can hang the ghost outside in a tree by looping more twine around the base of the head. |
