Didn't find his father, but found some people.(Birthright, Part I & II)

A few weeks later, Worf journeys to the planet Boreth, to a monastery. He spent ten days praying. He meets Koroth on the tenth day and Koroth suggested to Worf to leave because Worf was obviously looking like he had given up prayer. Worf decides to stay longer at the monastery. A few hours later he prayed by a fireplace, also praying was Divok. Suddenly, Kahless materializes before them and they watched with bewilderment. While Kahless said to Worf, "I am Kahless, and I have returned," Divok departed to inform the clerics. As time went on, Worf became suspicious of Kahless and did a tricorder scan and was stunned to realize the person standing before him is Klingon. After a while, the Enterprise-D is called to Boreth to pick up Kahless, Chancellor Gowron boards the starship as well. Gowron was obviously angry and worried about the current events. He orders for a DNA test to take place, and Dr. Crusher conducted the test and reported that the DNA is that of Kahless. Since his attempts were not fruitful, he turned to an old friend of Mogh who told him why the Klingon fleet is on edge. The Klingons attack Cardassia. He goes on board Gowron's starship and Worf is asked to join Gowron onto Cardassia and Worf refuses. A short while later, the Klingons return and attack Deep Space Nine because Captain Sisko refused to release the Cardassian Council members into Gowron's custody. The Klingons attack and board the station. The Klingons stop attacking and leave. Worf is made strategic officer and remains on board the station with a new uniform. (Way of the Warrior)

They confront Toral's entourage and eventually get the batleth but in the end, they deposit it to the vastness of space.

Mid year, Kurn, Worf's brother goes to Deep Space Nine. His goal simply was to convince Worf into joining the Klingon Defense Force. When that endeavor failed, Kurn asked Worf to help him in the ritual called the mauk-to'var. Dax and Odo caught Worf.
