SWEEP! Boston finished below the Canadiens during the 1991-92 regular season and were expected to fall to the Habs in this series. Patrick Roy was coming off a great regular season for Montreal, and had been brilliant in the first round against Hartford. Boston, meanwhile, would lose the services of Ray Bourque after Game 1 of this series, and having already lost Cam Neely, didn't seem to have much of a chance. But after a wild win in the series opener at the Forum, the Bruins' Peter Douris scored in overtime in Game 2 to give Boston a 2-game lead going to Boston Garden. After another one-goal win in Game 3, Boston looked to sweep the Canadiens out of the playoffs but could only muster 1 goal against Roy in Game 4. The Habs, however, could not get any of their 26 shots past Andy Moog, and Boston added an empty-netter with under a minute left to send Montreal home with a humiliating defeat. What a classic series for the Boston Bruins!
