| Jack Hamilton Memorial Fund for the Performing Arts
The Jack Hamilton Memorial Fund for the Performing Arts encourages the delivery of quality performing arts programs for KPS elementary students. Art enrichment programs involving music, drama, literature and art will be reviewed by the Jack Hamilton Memorial Fund Steering Committee. Grants up to $250 will be awarded to school improvement teams whose projects are selected. School improvement teams must approve all projects before they are submitted to KPEF. Programs must be implemented between May 1, 2002 and June 1, 2002. The attached request form must accompany proposals. Up to three additional pages may be attached to this cover sheet to respond to the five questions on the request form. Requests from schools, which have not received previous funding through the Jack Hamilton Memorial Fund, will be given priority. Proposals are due in the Kalamazoo Public Education Foundation (KPEF) office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2002. Applicants will be notified of committee decisions by April 21st. Upon completion of their programs, recipients will be required to complete a brief written evaluation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the KPEF office, 337-0498. Thank you for your interest in this opportunity to make learning come alive through the arts. Jack Hamilton Request Form Jack Hamilton Guidelines
