M/S "Waglan Island"
This classic of extreme beauty is the old "Mombasa" of the East Asiatic Company, Copenhagen, Denmark.
Built in 1950 and sold to Hong Kong Ocean Shipping Co.Ltd., - (Hong Kong Island Line) - , in 1972.
Scrapped in Taiwan 1979, - the end of a very fine ship.

This classic beauty must, - of course -, belong to Ben Line of UK.
Built in 1957 as "Woodarra" for British India Steam Navigation Co. Ltd.
Then taken over by P & O in 1968 as the "Pando Gulf"
Finally Aquired by Ben Line in 1974 and renamed "Benalbanach", - under which name she is seen on above picture.
Scrapped in Korea 1n 1978.

Built as "Kokei Maru" in 1952 for Japan Line Ltd.
Renamed "Kokei" in 1971, - and finally scrapped in 1980.

Here a real Norwegian classic from 1950, - the ex. M/S "Berganger" of Westfal-Larsen.
Sold in 1969 and renamed "Shansi" (China Nav. Co. Ltd.)
Then in 1977 became "Yat Lee", under Panama flag. (Cie de Nav. Full Mooon)

Renamed "Banda Sea" in 1972 before she became "Hongming" in 1977 and wrecked in 1982.

Could be either the "Cang Shan", - "Lan Shan", - "Huang Shan" or "Hong Shan"
