T/S "Bencairn"
A true classic from Ben Line, UK, - here photographed at anchor at the Panama Canal in January 1974.
Built in 1951 at Cammell Laird & Co. Ltd. as "City of Brisbane" for Ellerman Lines Ltd.
Turbine driven ship, - 14300 SHP, - 17 knots , - 13249 TDW
Sold to Ben Line in 1970 and renamed "Bencairn".  Scrapped in Taiwan in 1975.
