PETER KOZMA, stage director, began his musical studies at the age of six, and has since studied flute, voice and conducting as a recipient of Hungarian State Eotvos Scholarship and the Terplan Foundation Grant, Peter received his Master of Music degree in stage direction at UT Austin.
While completing his degree in vocal performance at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, he founded the Ars Classica Chamber Opera, where he produced and directed numerous opera productions including The Magic Flute, The Elixir of Love, The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni at the Godollo Fall Festival. He also directed a production of Monteverdi's L'Orfeo for the Budapest Chamber Opera.
He has worked at the Hungarian State Opera as an assistant stage director. His work in the United States includes directing Menotti's The Telephone and Monteverdi's L'incoronazione di Poppea.
