Then, at the climax of all events Reploid, X's ship, the Ragnarok, was destroyed.
X had fought and defeated Xero during that battle, and by doing so, defeated the part of himself he hated; the part that makes a Reploid a weapon; a facilitator of death and ruthless destruction. By defeating the deadly Xero, he had saved his friends, and could now fight as a hero, and protect, rather than fight without purpose.
Then, while on a mission of extermination to a planet inhabited by an alien species of plant, X found himself in a Bob's Discount Ships. Then, purchasing it for nearly nothing, X aquired the Outrider.
The Outrider. Is is a light frieghter, with two high-impact acute particle-beam turrets. The cockpit seats two, but there's plenty of space in the main room. Furniture is limited to a single couch and table, due to needed cargo space. Compared to the Ragnarok, it's significantly smaller, but can reach much higher speeds in space.
A loss in many ways, but the Outrider is a decent ship that's faster, lighter, and more manuverable then the Ragnorok, but is not quite as powerful in combat. It is designed for hit-and-run pop shots at land targets, and warding off attacking fighters. Against a larger ship though, the Outrider's power pales in comparison, and only the speed can save it from such a threat.
