Our Own Special Angel Deeny For those of us who received the blessing of having Deeny in our lives, we know we have our own Special Angel. Often times we hear of people being referred to as perfect Deeny was not the perfect anything.. To be perfect would have diminished her endearing qualities. Being perfect would have made her less human, and therefore less of a Special Angel Deeny made many mistakes in her life, and from each one she learned... The lessons that she learned she passed on to those around her, and to those she loved. We that received the benefits of those lessons knew we were being taught by a Special Angel. Deeny did not like to make scarifies. She did not want to sacrifice her time with her husband, her children or grandchildren. She did not sacrifice her family or her friends. Those of us that Deeny refused to give up, knew we belonged wrapped in the wings of our own Special Angel. To all of those of you that read this, who feel a sense of loss because you did not know Deeny Take heart, all is not lost to you, because some where, some time in your life you may meet one of us who did know her. | My Mother My mother was a strong and loving person. Losing her will be the most diffcult moment that I will ever have to go through in my life. I wish I wought have spent more time with her over the years, but you always think you have tomorrow to see them. Boy was I wrong. Everyday without her is so hard. Not being able to just pick up the phone and say hi how are you today is only one of the little things that hurt the most. You never really think about how much things like that meant to you until you can no longer do them. Holidays will never be the same without Mom. She always made them more special than they already were. Her special little reciepes and tricks made that holiday more meaninful for everyone. She always told us kids next year was our turn, but even when we tried she would always end up doing the most. She taught me to always be strong, never give up and always keep your family close to your heart, which Mom did so well. Everyday I wonder how I am going to get through life without her, but something happens everyday that makes me think of her and I hear her say. Smile it will be alright. Moms famous words to me. Mom I love and miss you very much. I know one day we will be together again. Until then I will always keey you in my thoughts and you will always remain in my heart. MOM I LOVE YOU. Your Son Steve |
