Hosted a Women's Health Day for 30 local teens as well as 15 village teens with sessions on AIDS, nutrition, hygiene, and safe pregnancies.

Collaborated with UNICEF on nationwide measles and polio vaccination campaigns which resulted in my direct involvement in the immunization of over 2200 children in Mauritania

Conducted site assessments of rural health clinics serving over 8000 residents in order to submit requests for funding and supplies to government agencies and international aid organizations

Managed an after-school youth center for high school girls providing tutoring, internet training, career development, health seminars, and life skills programs as well as special events for International Women's Day

Created and maintained Mauritania's first website in French and English for a local karate club to promote the sport as a healthy lifestyle (
