Space Conflict X
Episode 2: Jack Who?

So I just got the inspiration for the sequel to the Best-selling Space Conflict X. This next episode will be set on Mars, 5 years after the events of the first game. Below is my initial concept:

Setting: 5 yrs after the Avalon incident. Jack Slade is still working at a dead end job as the night janitor for SciTech, a large weapons developer located in the industrial district of New Atlas Crater on Mercury. The Avalon incident went wholly unnoticed because of its close proximity to earth and because there was nothing left of the Avalon. Plus, because the Avalon was a secret government project, there were no public files on it and the researchers you rescued refused to comment on it out of fear of black-listing. Nobody in the galaxy knows that Jack Slade saved them all from their demise.

Recently, different colonies in the system have risen up and have tried to seize power over all the others, but none have succeeded yet and it has just caused a lot of infighting between colonists. Space has become rife with debris from the numerous battles that have gone on recently and as such, space travel is getting a lot more dangerous and a lot more costly.

When Jack gets home from work tonight he turns on the TV to GNN. They are talking about the Indra Colony on Mars. Apparently the entire population of the colony has disappeared. The Mars Intelligence Agency was currently scouring the town looking for any signs of what had happened. So far they have found nothing. One thing they mentioned that did seem a bit strange was this: the reporter steps out of the way of the camera and on a large wall there is a large word crudely carved: AVALON...

Objective: The game opens with you standing at the outskirts of Indra Colony. It is night. There are two things you need to do:
1. find out what the hell happened in this colony
2. find out what the hell it has to do with the Avalon
You are equipped with only a flashlight, your trusty sidearm, and a pack of cigarettes. Good luck Jack, youre going to need it.
