Welcome to Participation in Democracy. This 1/2 credit course is a requirement for graduation in the State of Hawai`i.
In this course we will focus on the foundations of U.S. Government, the three branches, checks and balances, the Constitution, and rights & responsibilities of a citizen.
There are two Participation in Democracy teachers: Mrs. Vendiola and Ms. Shlachter. Both teachers are team-teaching this course. Please see below for their contact information.
