4. Manuel³ Kaplan (Samuel², Menahem Mendel¹) was born in Dominguez, E.Rios, Argentina December 14, 1905. Manuel died April 20, 1977 in Cordoba, Argentina, at 71 years of age.

He married Sara Blank in Cordoba, Argentina, September 17, 1932. Sara was born in Cordoba, Argentina July 16, 1910. Sara is the daughter of Jaime G. Blank and Fany Lublinsky.

Manuel Kaplan and Sara Blank had the following children:

7 i. Ethel (Lily)⁴ Kaplan was born in Viamonte, Cba., Argentina August 6, 1935. She married Iosef (Berenholc) Bar Ilan in Kibutz Bahan, Israel, January 10, 1957. Iosef was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina August 13, 1934. Iosef is the son of Marcos Berenholc and Rebeca Sofia Elblung. (See Iosef (Berenholc) Bar Ilan for the continuation of this line.)

+ 8 ii. Ariel Kaplan was born September 28, 1940.
