well, nimue got interested about the time the transmitter got put away--including jumping on the coffee table where i was working on the rocks. normally she respects the coffee table & doesn't dream of climbing on it, but she felt inclined to sniff the rocks. hey, anything the human is up to is interesting, right? & she's been giving every indication lately of being stoned on stones--teach her to lay on my medicine bag, right? :P the coffee table BTW is the place for my fossil rocks, & altho i separate them from the others, fossils sometimes get broadcast all over the house when the selenite's up there. i figured this might be enhanced adding moldavite, didn't bother me. i also had a lot of jasper there, which i like for modulating/grounding quartz.
i put the moldavite on the selenite, & instant broadcast: mostly the selenite for the first couple minutes, which was out longer & now had the moldavite's added transmitter qualities. the effect was noticably dramatic in that this was the best selenite white broadcast i've had yet (where you can feel the "flavor" of the stone). the moldavite got intense immediately after, but seemed to level off after a bit & was less jangly. the fossils went off real fast after this. well, after i got her off the table, nimue curled up on her pillow near to the coffee table. smart cat, she knows when it's time to meditate, hehe. plus the trilobite fossil tends to make you sleepy (best thing i know of for trying to learn to sleep wearing moldavite). since trilobite sometimes dumps millions of years on you at once, it's pretty clear why. activating it with selenite seems useful for seeing into the time-frames.
well, while the selenite was with the quartz i'd already started switching thru some past-life personas (a glimpse of wailing starving city-dwellers in ancient egypt--crop blight or something. i had a shiny yellow jasper that looks like a dried corn kernal up on the table--it has some black markings so how i got the association is pretty plain.). after the moldavite went on a more recent lifetime surfaced. this one's early 20th century, the time when the machine age hit full force with cars & war toys. maybe you can call this the true flowering of the iron age. i tend to find iron pretty depressing since it's now everywhere, relative to past times-perspective when there was little or no steel or iron. (conversely i have a persona who finds metal-made cooking pots to be utterly fascinating, since they didn't exist in her era.) anyway, i'm standing there contemplating this contrast of iron with times thousands & millions of years ago when there's plants that no longer exist & nobody makes iron artifacts but nature. & that modern times are already obsolete if you think in terms of light-years & an outside perspective. like where we are now has already passed thousands or millions of years ago, if viewed from somewhere else. light is slow, 186,000 mps. if you look at a star in the sky you don't see it as it is now but as it "was." etc. etc., thank you, moldavite. the combo was extremely strong so i went to the bedroom to meditate (read: snooze). i promptly zonked out about 15 minutes into the meditation despite the moldavite. well, when you have trilobite-induced sleep, you are out.
well, i wake up about 4 hours & millions of years later to exotic nature scenes semi-televised thru the entire house (wish i could retain the images longer/focus them better, "pervasive" is maybe the better word). oh, & that jasper is kind of like nature's plastic or polymer: metamorphic stone, silicated mud. anyway i could feel it, definitely heavier than quartz. it was midnight by now, no cars & all the neighbors had gone in. & there's this really weird sound... is that the rock tumbler? well, i'd left the front door cracked open too, stupid me. nimue comes in (is it safe to come in now?) i go in the bathroom & she started dumping telepathy all over me, it was in her body language. cat telepathy is somewhere up in the white frequency, once in a blue moon i can see it coming off her & hear her thinking. & here we'd had about 4 hours of moldavite.... her first distinct thought was classic: "things are really strange in the house!" yeah, nim, i noticed that too. gods only know what all these stones are doing to her 3rd eye. time to put the stones away, ok. then she commented on the really strange sound in the spare room. yes, it was kind of eerie, but that's not a UFO, it's my jury-rigged rock tumbler...
well, a couple days before this the rubber gasket on the drive shaft bit it: no gasket, no turn. i tried rubber bands but it chugs & the rubber band broke. finally i wrapped it in layers of electrical tape. it still wanted to chug so i raised the front end of the machine & propped it up. voila, it spins faster than ever! but it sounds really weird. like something straight out of that old TV show "outer limits." completely fitting using moldavite, but by sheer coincidence & electrical tape! & here's the cat, licking her paw: hmmm, there's this new weird sound behind that door. & my naughty human left the moldavite out for hours.
ok, i was a good human, i dumped out the tumbler for the night :)
final notes: the other cat, montana, did not actively participate in the experiment, however it had an interesting effect on her. about the time i started laying stones out, she went to sleep in the laundry basket. the basket's in the bathroom right between the living room & my bedroom. in other words, any vibrations or energies radiating from the living room go straight thru the bathroom first before they get to my room. well, she slept for 16 hours straight in the laundry basket. pretty unusual even for her. i only slept for 4, & nim was up when i got up. again this was probably caused by the trilobite.
i repeated the selenite/rose quartz etc combo the next day, seems to be doing montana some good: she was VERY content. she is a cat with "attitude" so a definite improvement lately :)
