Ruttledge Painting would like to be your
choice for painting services. As you well know, interior painting is generally the last
stage of most projects, and for most customers the quality of that painting
often determines their level of satisfaction with the project.
Assuming this, we will make suggestions that will improve the final
results and will work with you to ensure you are satisfied.
We certainly appreciate all trades cleaning up after completion of
their jobs
by removing their tools and vacuuming. We will definitely
be doing our own cleaning before and after our painting begins and
ends. Dust is the number one enemy for painters. No dust equals a smooth
finish.
Enameling can be very dangerous to other trades working in and or
around while painting is in progress. We do require all trades be outside or off site during enamel applications, for their health
and our finish. |

Not knowing who is working in front of us and/or their
level of quality or expectation, we have some obvious
requests. We simply ask that floor base corners and door corners are
tight, nail holes are spread from stud to stud, and other basic installation
requests. Obviously, the less caulk or putty we have to put on or
apply the better the finished product looks.
Punch lists can make everybody's head spin, so we include two per
job. The first punch list comes from your site supervisor. We complete
that list and the customer can have their final. However, we would
prefer to complete a punch list after the electricians complete their
installs (finger prints, screw driver dings, etc.).
Time and material rates for punch lists. One staff (Journeyman quality)
$35/hr, two staff $60/hr. I provide these numbers so if the customer
would like traditional items outside the original contract completed,
we would certainly like to help. |
