| Chapter 6 �Ben, you are so fucking unbelievable! You let the bitch go!� screamed Julie as she paced the length of the room. �What the hell were you thinking?� �Julie, it�s not my fault she hit me in the head with the rock. Or that the drugs wouldn�t effect as we hoped it would.� Ben said as he looks over the plan to see what went wrong. �I wasn�t expecting her to get away from me.� �Yeah, well she did. She did and she got away.� she slumped in the chair next to Ben. �Now it�s going to take weeks before we can try again. We�re going to have to watch her for a while then form another plan.� �I know that Jules, sometimes things go wrong so our plan wasn�t so fault free. She got away and we didn�t intend for things to happen this way.� �You do know that we�re going to be extra careful since she probably told the police.� Julie is slowly calming down, but the bitterness in her voice was evident. �Well, I guess we have to learn from our mistakes.� �You going to keep bringing this up aren�t you?� He asked with a hopeful look. �Of course I am. You�re the one who suggested going after Joey.� she said in a tired voice. �I just wanted go after Pacey.� �You didn�t have to say yes Jules.� he said matter of factly. �How could I have said no to you, especially when you put on the puppy face of yours.� Julie said with a smile. �What can I say, I�m just cute and irresistible and that�s why you love me.� Ben said as he put on his puppy dog face. She looked at him and laughed, �Sometimes I wonder why.� She lent in and kissed him. |
