| Guardian Angels: Bad meets Badder ******************************************************************************************** Faith sighed as she let the icy night wind break through her hair. Why was she here? She smiled a little. She knew why. When her and the others came to this deminsion, they met here for the first time. Of course, they looked like their old selves at that time. Faith sighed again as her black hair fell in her face. �I used to want black hair,� She thought aloud, �but know I want brown again. Look, here I am talking to myself all alone.� She shook her head. �You�re not alone.� Came a voice behind her. Faith spun around, but no one was there. �Now, I�m hearing things. This is sad.� She started to walk away. �You�re right. It is sad,� the same voice said from her right. She spun around again. Still no one there. �But you aren�t hearing things.� She spun to her left. �Who-who�s there! Show yourself! I�m not afraid of you!� She said, clutching her cross that hung around her neck. �You should be.� This time it came from behind. Faith turned around quickly and this time saw her haunter. �Katie?� She asked astonished. �Not any more. You see, O2, now I go by the name of Hilde, but I didn�t expect you to know that.� Faith eased up. �But why are you here?� She was answered by a whip slashing across her forehead. She let out what sounded like the start of a scream but stopped short as she hit the ground. The moment she did, she clutched her throat and gagged. �Oh, what�s wrong? Not in the fighting mood?� The angel/demon asked. She was no longer Hilde or Kaite. Faith�s eyes widened. She never expected to see anything so horrible. It looked like Hilde but had dark red eyes, one demon wing and one angel wing, and a white whip with a small dagger at the end. She was wearing a black jumpsuit with a lot of white strips across it. Faith could now breath so she slowly tried to get up. �Kaite why- Ack!� She hit the ground again, this time because of Kaite/Hilde stood with one leg on top of her. �I tried.� She mumbled and flipped the angel/demon off of her. She went flying. �Wha-What are you?!� She yelled as Faith raised off the ground, a unexpected black aura around her. Faith�s black hair was replaced by Caitlin�s brown. Her blue eyes were now forest green. Her outfit changed also. She had on a black tank top cut just above the end of her ribs and her jeans were replaced by a pair of black leather pants that clung to her legs. At her side was a sword with a black handle. The angel/demon stood up. A trail of blood stained Faith�s face as she glared at Hilde/Kaite. �Come on Kaite. Don�t you remember me? The girl you mocked? The girl that stood up for you when you were made fun of? The girl that died that day in a drunk driving accident?� She said. �C-Ca-Caitlin?� Kaite/Hilde managed to mumble. Faith smiled cruelly. �Yes. It�s me, Caitlin.� She said as she took a few more steps towards her foe. �NO!� Hilde/Kaite shreiked as she lashed her whip at her foe. It hit her square in the stomach. She let out a gasp and doubled over in pain. �What are you afraid of?� Hilde/Kaite asked. �Afraid death can die?� Caitlin grabbed her sword and lunged for Kaite/Hilde. Hilde/Kaite shrieked and moved, but not in time to dodge the attack completely. It cut her side pretty deep. She howled in pain and stood looking at the sword, that was now pointed at her, in shock. �Death can die. But I�m not dying today.� She said as she raised the sword above her head to give Hilde the final blow. �Faith?!� Yelled a voice from her side. Caitlin slowly turned to see Wufei with a few other people she didn�t reconize. She eased up. ��Fei?� She asked confused. �Caitlin! Watch it!� Yelled one of the girls clinging to Heero. That must be Candace, she thought as she turned to Hilde/Kaite, but not in time to stop what she was doing. Hilde/Kaite pushed her with a strong force into a tree and knocked the sword out of her hand. She grabbed it and lunged for Caitlin. �CAITLIN!� Selena shreicked and turned as the angel/demon delt the final blow. She heard manical laughter coming from the angel/demon and looked up. Caitlin lied on the ground, not moving. �NO!� She screamed as the angel/demon disappeared. The moment she did, Caitlin detransformed into Faith. Candace and the others ran to her side. Wufei knelt beside her and layed her head in his lap. Candace started to shake her friend. �Caitlin! Caitlin! I know you�re there, so stop playing! Caitlin, this isn�t funny! Caitlin!� She burst into tears as she remembered the last time Caitlin had died because of Candace. �Candace-� Ana started. �NO!� Candace yelled looking at her. �Caitlin�s my cousin! I�m not going to lose her again! She can�t die! She�s too good!� Her whole world crumbled. �Caitlin......� She mumbled before she started to sob again. Heero put his hand on her sholder trying to comfort her the best he could, though he didn�t understand one bit of this. Mandy let out a frustrated yell as she stood up. �Kaite, Do you hear me?! I hope you do, because I�m warning you: You come near any of us again and I�ll kill you! That�s not a threst that�s a promise!� She screamed as she clasped into Quatre�s arms crying. By this time, Ana and Paige were in tears to. �O2? O2! Please No!� Paige cried as she laid back into Trowa�s warm embrace. �I�m sorry, O2. I didn�t mean to make you mad. You could have fallen in love with anyone you wanted. I didn�t mean it! I was jealous, please don�t! Come back please! PLEASE, O2!!!!� She fell back into Duo�s arms. Candace fell into Heero�s arms and by this time everyone was crying, even Wufei. Secretly, Wufei had had a crush on Faith ever since she had run into him about 2 weeks ago at work. �Can someone explain what�s going on?� Heero asked. �I can.� A voice behind them said. They all turned to the girl behind them. �Relena?!� Candace yelled in shock. On to part 4! |
