MONITOR
The monitor is the screen where the computer displays information.  This information is interactive and can be manipulated using a mouse and keyboard.


KEYBOARD
The keyboard is what you use to type letters, numbers and various other symbols.  Also, the keyboard has directional arow keys which allow you to move the cursor in different directions.


MOUSE
You use a mouse to navigate your pointer             around the computer and windows.

HARD DRIVE
A hard drive is the guts of your computer.  All files, programs and software are stored somewhere on your computer's hard drive.  Your hard drive has openings where you can insert cd's and floppy disks.  Your hard drive is accessed by clicking on 




PRINTER
This hardware allows you to print files onto paper


SCANNER
Enables you to scan a piece of paper and turn it into a file that can be kept on the hard drive.
