What I do during the day -- I am a software engineer at Ericsson IPI where I write software for Diffserv and MPLS in edge routers.
Before that -- I worked for a couple of years at Ericsson Enterprise solutions as a Systems Engineer on new data phones.
Even before that -- did my undergraduate (B. E. Electronics) at K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering, Mumbai, India. (Also check out the university of Mumbai). After graduating in 1994, I took up a job at Nelco, Mumbai. pursued my masters in EE (Wireless communications) at North Carolina State University, Raleigh NC, U.S.A from Fall 1995 to 1998.
In the beginning -- I'll skip this to maintain reader interest.
Academic pursuits -- For my master's thesis, I worked on link layer schemes for ultra-wideband CDMA radios for military packet radio applications. Refer papers in this section.
