In closing, as I stated in my first newsletter, I thank all members for coming aboard as Officers and Directors, and those members who helped throughout this fraternal year to better our council.
I hope that the next GK can make an impression to those who are satisfied as to the operation and condition of our property, and take our council to the next level.
As I stated at our last meeting, I apologize to our council members for ranking 133rd in the State Council. None of the Council Report Booklet Forms, (which is my responsibility), were sent in. I understood a Bro. Knight tell me that he would take care of the Council Report Booklet. It was brought to my attention that none of the forms were sent in, and too late to send these reports in. As District Deputy for 2008-09, I will put this on the top of my list of responsibility for our next fraternal year. We will get most improved council in our group. These Reports are easy to achieve for our points. The two most difficult are membership and YEP. The last two years we only gave $200.00 to YEP, we have to give $10.00 per member (170 members) if we want to be anywhere close to #1 in the State.
-We had members question why our Ladies Aux. is taking money away from Home Inc. We should want our wife�s involved with us, earning money for their Aux..
-We are the Knights of Columbus, we should want our Church CYO there with us at fundraiser to earn money for their cause, and not say, they�re taking money away from Home Inc.
-Lets focus on why we are proud to be Knights of Columbus this coming year-
