The next monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008
At the K C Home on 4911 Gloria Drive in Lafitte. Meal will consist of Hot Dogs, Chili, Nacho�s and Cheese. General meeting will start at 7:30 pm. Voting and Installation of Officers will begin at 7:45-8:00 pm.
Notice: The nominations for any open position and installation of Officers will be at our next reg. business meeting, June 26th, We will only open council business to pay bills and vote on motion to change meeting day.

Notice: A motion was made to change our reg. business meeting to either the 3rd Wed. or 2nd Thurs. of the Month. If you have a commit on this motion please come to the next meeting or let someone know so it can be considered. At our June 26nd reg. business meeting we will have a vote for either day. This can allow some of our younger members to get involved.
Membership will vote on this at the June meeting.
Notice: A motion was made to transfer $2000.00 from the bingo account to Home Inc. account to pay for our upcoming insurance premium of @$3000.00. We must give members a 30 day notice of any transfer greater than $500.00. Membership will vote on this at the July meeting.
Council Fund Raisers
Council Bingo: The Bingo schedule for the 2008 year will be made available at the KC Hall as soon as we get permit back from State Gaming Office. Next bingo is June 28th
Super Bingo: We will regroup and set another date. Tentatively we have chosen Sept 21st. More on
this later.
Casino Trip: Our trip we canceled on Holy Saturday, it is now planned for July 19th, Call Chris Dufrene Sr. for any information.

With short notice, DD contacted the State office and this is what DD has decided, to open nominations again and install the same night. You must be there to accept the nomination.
