A Painless Arrow

Fascination still remains -
Over the gift I recieved .
An arrow that is painless.
It can pass through the heart -
Of any beast or man ,
With no regerets of intrusion.
They will all close their eyes,
And like a dream will see ,
The end of life.

Or am I insane.
To believe an arrow -
Can kill and not hurt.
Can a women cheat her love-
And still be trusted .
Can a man break his word -
And still be honoured.
Can a man fight when -
There is no hope.
Can you be brutal and-
Still be loved.

Or maybe I should -
Let the arrow do its job.
To kill with dedication - that is.
Although I didn't understand ,
Why - lie - is written over it.
