Sun Worshipers

Back

Sat. 11/20/04

Finally, sunshine. As we wake up and see the rays of light break through the clouds, we know that we are in for a good day...our skins however... not so good.

Copacabana beach

Sunday 11/21/04

Clouds roll in again and we decide to rent some bikes. Note to self, you can still get burnt with overcast skies...

THE LOVE!
Ipenema beach

Christ the Redeemer statue overlooking and protecting the city.

The coolest sight you can see...

Monday 11/22/04

The day is clearing up and it's time to see the Christ and the sugar loaf mountain.

Tuesday 11/23/04

Time to go. The Sun finally is in full blaze and we cram in that last bit of tanning to at least get some sort of souvenir on our skins...

..the best.
Beautiful, I just want you to know....

A city of 17 million people, mainly poor, this city knows how to live and enjoy life. It's tough not to when everything around you is so beautiful. So much to remember.

Obrigado Rio, Brasil.

The LOVE 2004.
