The Road Home
There are the things in the air that we cannot see.
There are places in the world that don’t yet exist.
With every breath that we take,
We are closer to knowing.
Knowing how it all happened.
Knowing why we smile at sunsets.
Knowing the road that takes us home.
The body, the mind, the soul.
Together in this life.
In all the glory of pain and anguish,
Growing and gratification,
The great love and family.
So complete as one.
And as angels cry out,
The brightness illuminates the darkest of fears.
To the place where peace and calmness live.
Walking the road with its boundless paths.
The unknown can now be clear.
All the love that once was is again close.
We are together,
Life begins again…
