EBANOR

...the Usual...Kobei...

I’m in an away. How is it that the world is filled with so many different cities with so many different lives that are lived. We are all people when you take the junk away. These senses and these conformities and these ways of thought mold us to a culture that we ultimately develop our personalities from. These places I see, these people I meet. All different and somehow I wish we were all the same. The differences are what makes us individuals, but there seems to be more differences than there are similarities. And it seems without similarities, the faces will just pass by.

As we look at our cities and countries and cultural and religious divides, where is the commonality besides the bones in our bodies. Skin color, thought processes and ways of life seem to all be so different. The idea of one. One world. One society where all races and cultures come together under a united flag. A dream the only tyrants and conquerors act out. A dream that for some, is the final destination. But it seems that the afterlife is the only place for it to exist.

I guess in some ways we always dream to meet friends across the oceans. Dance to a common beat. Sing together with the same voice… But in the human spirit, it is hard for us to understand that sometimes the machine just wasn’t meant to function the way we wanted… and sometime, the world wasn't meant to be. We just hope that as we see this place get smaller, we see more… as we move farther away, we get closer… and as we knock on a neighbor’s door, this life becomes less divided…
