Last night I decided to pull out my old grad video. Now high school was definitely not my cup of tea. Maybe it was because the school I was at just didn’t have the collective spirit like other, or maybe the environment was not what I expected, or I was too awkward to enjoy things… or maybe I was just a dork. Whatever it was, many people look back on those times and really have a warm and fuzzy memories.. but it was not that case for me. I was happy that life moved on and I was able to discover things outside of the confines of high school. Discovery of the world I guess.

Just one more year until the dreaded reunion. Not too sure if I will be attending… although it would we an interesting experience. You only have one chance at a 10 year reunion. Been very snobbish of late to the one I do see from then. Why? Don’t know why? Just a snob I guess.

But the faces all seem so distinct and yet I’m sure they all have changed. Well at least I know everyone does not dress like that anymore. Some lawyers, doctors, some in school still, some married with children, some not, some employed in job they hate, some with ones they love, and some have passed one, sadly… and so were do I fit into the mix. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who wonder of us too. Next year I guess.

I’ll find that dusty bookshelf to tuck that tape away and leave my memories as is… life is life… as is.
