A TIME AND PLACE

...the Usual...Kobei...

Where do the landmarks reside? When do formations of worlds take place? How are our memories constructed? We all have a tendency to remember the events at hand. We remember the last days of our vacations and think of them best. We see all the snow that has covered everything in site after big downfall. We think of the last kiss before we leave a loved one… But what of the time between. It seems that as long as you do the last moments right, anything before is just a blur. Do we remember the flurry of snow outside while we are trying to get to work, or do we only see the calm pretty whiteness that resides. Can we see the stokes of an artist hand while masterpieces are made, or do we just gaze in awe at the inanimate creation afterwards. Do we remember all the mishaps and wrong doings of leaders, or do we just see their heroism at a time of need. Where do all the mountain come from? How did the Eiffel tower get built? Who makes the houses we sleep in? The creation of things is a beauty in itself, and the journey to get to that time and place is art form. Whether good or bad, is something that we miss too often. All we see is what is left in place and we take it for what it is and not how it came to be…

My poem is perfect but started off as just the mess in my mind.
