IMPERFECTION PERFECTION

...the Usual...Kobei...

The top is such a lonely place. They always say that the silver medal winners always suffers the most disappointment because they were so close but just not good enough…. And the bronze medal winners are the most content because there is this absence of pressure. The Gold, the ones on top are the ones always in stress. When you are on top, there is only one way to look, and that is down. Your life is in the clouds and that is all you know…and the ground seem so unfamiliar like fires below. The ones who live in the clouds only know this fantasy world but always seem to have the deficiencies in life. Afraid of losing. Afraid of not being able to maintain that greatness that they have manufactured. Because when you are the best, or have the looks, or the money, or the power… things do seem to happen just that much easier. And there is this dependence. On the pedestal, you are god. Or that’s the perception. The ones who are not so lucky to be among the deities, have the privilege of working for what they want and understanding the true mechanism of things. They live and learn and strive for things beyond the materials. It is so easy to be knock off the pedestal because the slightest little deviations from this self glorification causes the walls to crumble… and always looking back because there is always someone below looking to knock you down…

Being atthe bottom, or the perception of that can hold its own ground. At the bottom, you strive for everything and expect nothing. The world is the playground of ambitions and achievements. This imperfection makes us more of perfect people. People relate to imperfection because no one is… perfect, although many of us seem to like to think so. The flaws makes us want to be better… and we are… Looking up is always feels better that looking down…
