BALANCED SIDES

...the Usual...Kobei...

Like everything else in this world, it’s about balance. There is a yin to a yang. The left to the right. The dark to the light. People never understand that in order to have the balance in this world, there is the evil for every good. It keeps the equilibrium in tact…So in this world, we ask ourselves how balanced are these lives and our relationships. How contrary to the people we know are we to see the negative of the ones we love and the beauty of the ones we hate. Do we possess as much evil in us as we do good…

To start, everything come pre-balanced… in the middle. No right or wrong. No love or hate. No start or finish. Just in the middle. As we move from one side to the other, the equality of the balance is that simple. Once we move towards liking someone more, we are more inclined to hate them more. Take a stranger, You may curse them or complement, but to you, they are just another face in the crowd. No meaning. No emotional stimulation. Just another crumb in the cracks. Curse them all you want, or have them do the same, but it yields the same result… If a stranger betrays you, no love is lost. There is none to be lost. But ask yourself if a friend betrays, it’s now the dagger that pierces you in the back… the pain. That much more hurtful because of these equations. The ones we love the most can hurt us the most. The balance shares a very thin line with the extreme sides of the scale. But balances in equality.

So easily grasp that from this scale and it says the measure of how much you can love someone, is how much you can hate them. Anyone who has ever been in love with someone, has thought of the word “murder”. The bottle of emotions to makes you mad and blind and capable of the unthinkable because temporary, you are crazy… in such hate that it consumes… but one smile, can easily take that rage away. So simple. If you wake up after a fight without the rage in your heart, then are you just a easy passive soul, or is it that you just don’t care that much… the equation working itself.

Take your two index fingers and spread them out. Widen them or make them close. Make whatever space you may in between. You will find a point in which every relationship may stand. Put them together for strangers. Spread them out until the space that occupies has you pointing on opposite directions… Somebody… everybody fits into your scale here. On one finger is the love and the other is the negative of that love that you are capable of. But however you measure, there is a balance on each side and know that no matter what the balance may be when you spread your fingers, each side tells a tale. The wider you get, the crazier this life becomes.. but it’s great because as long as that distance exist, there is the love...

So wonder how much you can hate someone…. It may not be such a bad thing….my fingers are pointing…
