One day..... all I have to think and prepare... One day
Two days.... away, is where I want to be...
Three days.... that seems to far...
Why am I thinking that I will be here to catch the next round of the Playoffs, that I will be here to watch "24", that I will be here for missed birthdays, that I will be here to watch the premiere of Matrix, that life will not change.... I guess things can just happen in a snap and the next thing you know, I'm packing my bags... Can it seem that I am not excited? My head is so fogged up these days I don't know what's up or down. This is what vacation is all about. Leaving all the thing in your life that cause you to clutter your mind. Thing that cause you to lose excitement in your life, or at least not allow you to enjoy. Maybe my mind will follow once my body is there.
There's no plan. Just board and go. We've got plane tickets and a rail pass. Oh and a handy Japanese phrase book, for me at least. I think the best one was "Can you get me a lawyer that speaks English" hmmm might come in handy. With my camera loaded, company of a good friend and the passion of a free mind and soul, we hope to come back with some good stories, the ones that start off with a long pause and a smile...
Just one more day.....
