Sales Policy

I will do my very best to make sure the rabbit is healthy and represented honestly to the best of my abilities.

Show
This means the animal is free from disqualifications (DQs), and is suitable for showing. I do not guarantee the rabbit will win, but it can be shown. I will be upfront about all faults I see in the animal. I cannot guarantee that show animals will produce offspring, even if they are proven.

Brood
Suitable for breeding, but not guaranteed to produce, even if proven. May be unacceptable weight, unrecognized color, or have a non-genetic DQ.

Pet
All my pet rabbits come with pedigrees. Most of the time the rabbit does not have the type that I am looking for or they have a DQ such as mismatched toenail color, unrecognized color or going to be too big. However they have great temperaments, and as such will make a wonderful companion.

  • If an animal can be show, but it also would make a great pet due to temperament, I will make a note saying such. However the price will remain the same even if sold as a pet. Same applies for brood animals that have great temperaments.

  • All animals that are proven breeders will be noted; again I do not guarantee that they will produce offspring. I will be upfront about breeding records, and example is whether or not a doe has produced a live litter before.

    General Policies

    Deposit Policy
    - I have the right to refuse a sale at any time. If a deposit has been accepted, it will be refunded.
    - I do not require a deposit unless the rabbit is to be held for an extended period of time.
    - I accept only Cash or Money Order at this time. Deposits may be made via Snail-Mail with Money Order only.
    - Deposits are non-refundable unless I terminate the sale.

    Holding Policy
    - I will hold a rabbit without a deposit for up to 2 weeks, after such time the animal will be available for sale again.
    - A deposit is required if the rabbit is to be held for more than 2 weeks.
    - I will hold a rabbit with a deposit for up to 4 weeks. Unless other arrangements have been made, after the 4 weeks, the deposit is forfeit and the rabbit will be available for sale again.

    Pick Up / Delivery Policy
    - All sales are final upon delivery. Deliver is defined in this case as full payment, rabbit and pedigree exchanged.
    - Rabbits can be picked up in one of two ways. Either you can arrange to pick up at a show I am attending, or meet someplace close to my residence.
    - If you choose to meet me someplace close to my residence rather than at a show I may charge a gas fee, depending on distance I have to travel, and whether or not it is out of my way.
    - Sorry, at this time I do not ship.

    Health Guarantee
    - All rabbits have a 1 week health guarantee.
    - The health guarantee does not include injuries that are afflicted to the rabbit while not in my care such as stress, pulling teeth/nails, heart attacks, injuries from other animals, neglect/abuse, heat stroke, etc.
    - If we can trace an illness back to my rabbitry within the first week of ownership, than I will refund your money, or replace the rabbit.
    - You have 24 hours to report an illness to me, otherwise the refund is void.
    - Under NO circumstances will I be responsible for any medical costs.

    Pedigrees
    - All rabbits, including pets, are fully pedigreed.
    - Feel free to ask questions if you are unsure about something on the pedigree.
    - All rabbits are tattooed prior to leaving my rabbitry, and as such I keep a record of all the rabbits born in my rabbitry that are assigned an ear number.
    - Do NOT change the pedigree in any way. If something looks out of place, contact me and I will help clear it up.
    - If a rabbit is sold without an official pedigree name, then you may add the name to the pedigree, HOWEVER you must keep the prefix KN's on the pedigree.
    - All pedigrees of rabbits born in my rabbitry are signed by me. You will not receive a copy of my signature, you will receive the original pedigree. As this guarantee's that the rabbit was bred by me, and that the information on the pedigree is accurate to the best of my knowledge.

    Replacing Rabbits
    - I will replace a rabbit that has become ill/died in the first week, only if it can be traced back to my rabbitry.
    - If you need to return your rabbit it will be replaced with a rabbit of equal or lesser value.
    - I do NOT give cash refunds for any reason.
    - Returns will be allowed for 7 days from the date of delivery (full payment). After the 7 days, it is up to me to accept a rabbit for return/exchange.

    I give a 15% discount on purchases of 3 or more rabbits.

    I give a small discount to 4-H members and Youth just starting out (as in you are new to breeding animals yourself, and are not a top youth breeder). I do require proof of membership to 4-H. If the rabbit is being purchased for/by a youth, I require that the youth is there to pick up the rabbit also, not just an adult saying they are purchasing it for a youth.

    I reserve the right to change my policies as a whole or in portions at any time for any reason.
