The Carrington Mansion Lobby

What do you mean the regular routine? Didnt you hear what I just said? This is Blake Carrington speaking! Blake was upset. He and Krystle just entered the house after being at the clinic where Adam was hospitalized. They still wondered how Adam could escape from the well protected facility. The longer they thought about it the more they realized that there is something wrong with this clinic. All the way back to the mansion Blake had tried to reach the police chief Monroe, who was in charge of the consortium investigation, before the case was closed for lack of evidence. Blake was almost sure that Adam didnt leave the clinic of his own will. There was something more here, and he was determined to find out who was responsible for his sons disappearance.

Blake, please stay clam. Krystle asked him and forced him to sit down when they entered the living room. Her husband was still weak. The doctors had instructed him to avoid stress. But Blake couldnt calm down. He was too upset.

I told you already, it is not a regular case here! My son is schizophrenic; if something will happen to him it will be your responsibility! Now in the minute Monroe comes in you tell him I need to speak with him, ASAP. You understand that? Good! He hung the phone up angrily.

They will look for Adam, right? Krystle asked, worried too.

Only in their regular policy. At least until Monroe will hear about that. He was still full of anger.

Blake, we dont know for sure what really happened. She reminded her husband, knowing exactly like Blake it was too strange that Adam succeeded to escape from the clinic by his own, but she hoped that for a change, this time the consortium wasnt involved. Blake however didnt have any doubt about that. In the last ten years, all the bad things that had happened to his family had been a result of the consortiums activity, and he was sure that somehow they were behind this too.

I am sure! Impossible that Adam left this place without help. Even if he tried, the place is too well protected. Im telling you, the police maybe think the consortium doesnt exist anymore - but I know better than them. There is still somebody trying to mess with our life. I know that! He said when they heard steps outside. The windows to the balcony were open. Blake stood up and pulled a pole from the fireplace.

Blake - Krystle looked at him, scared. Darling, be careful. She said as he approached the balcony. The steps came closer. Blake was about to hit the person who showed up in front of him, when Krystle recognized who it was.

Blake, dont! She yelled. The old man put the pole down, recognizing the person himself.

Krystina? He called surprised.

Thank good! The girl called in relief and entered the living room.

Honey what are you doing here? Krystle asked her daughter.

I was waiting for you to come back home. It just was too hot in here, so I went out to take some fresh air what did you think I am a thief? She asked amused, but her parents didnt smile. Blake closed the balcony windows and joined his wife and daughter.

Im sorry, sweetheart. What bring you here? He asked and looked at Krystle. Both of them hoped the girl had come to her senses and decided to come back home.

Im glad you both are here, I wanted to speak with you.

About? Krystle asked, wondering if her girl was coming back home.

Krystina waited for few moments before she spoke. Kyle. She said shortly and looked on her fathers face. She knew he wouldnt like the subject.

Im not sure whats there to talk about. You know what your father and I think about him. Krystle said and hoped Krystina would let the subject off. It wasnt the right time for them to deal with it. But Krystina was stubborn.

I know, but still. I wondered if youd agree to give him one more chance. Now I know weve been through this already, but I really want you to see him the way I see him -

No, Blake cut her words. Absolutely no! Blake said.

Daddy, please. At least hear what I have to say. The girl asked, but Blake was too angry and upset now.

Krystina, its not the right time to talk about that, okay? Krystle told her. She didnt want another fight between Blake and Krystina, especially not now.

Its never the right time for you when it comes to Kyle and me. You never gave him a chance!

I wont give a chance to someone who helped those lunatics to ruin my family and kill my daughter-in law. What is wrong with you? Cant you see how wrong it is to date with his man?! Blake was yelling now. The girl looked at him, tears in her eyes. Krystle reached for her hands, but Krystina rejected her and turned away to leave.

Krystina, please dont go like that. Krystle asked, but the girl ignored her mother and left the house, crying. Blake, do something. She asked her husband, but Blake for the first time didnt run after his young girl. He was too focused on his other problem - Adam.

Laramie, Wyoming, Dexter International

Dex was speechless as he handed the files to Scarlet. He was surprised to say the least, realizing that she obviously worked for Dexter International, and Dex Dexter never wanted to be caught off guard.

She took the files from him. Thanks for your help, Mr. Dexter. She said pointedly innocent to avoid the attention of passing employees.

Meanwhile Dex had got over his astonishment. Can I talk to you at my office? He whispered.

Sure. She agreed, following him.

Why didnt you tell me that you are working for this company? He asked as he closed the door to his office behind them.

Im sorry; I just didnt think it was important! Scarlet stated.

You dont think that working for Dexter International is important. Dex smiled. I will have to inform my hiring staff of that. He tried to joke to ease the situation.

She smiled back. What I meant was that I didnt think telling you was important.

I guess you dont want to mix business with pleasure. He asked with a grin.

Oh I see. You dont want to make this easy for me, do you? She smiled flirting with him.

Dex smiled back. He enjoyed having the upper hand. Why should I?

I wont apologize for anything. Do we not all have some secrets?

So sleeping with the boss is okay? He assumed.

As long as it doesnt interfere with my job I'm all for it. She looked at her watch. Oh I have to get back to the accounting department.

Dex stood up. How about dinner with me tonight?

Sure why not. Ill meet you in the lobby. She said while turning around and approaching the door.

As soon as she was out the door Dex began looking through his rolodex. He found the number he was looking for and dialed it. Hello, Walters, I want a back ground check on a Miss Scarlet ONeal.

Alexis's Penthouse

Alexis stepped inside her apartment and noticed Zachary Powers standing behind the bar and pouring himself a drink, obviously waiting for her. Hello Zach, did I forget that we had an appointment? She asked, stepping down the few steps into the sunken living room.

Zach took his glass and stepped out from behind the bar. Youre coming home late. He remarked, watching Alexis walking over to her desk and placing her leather briefcase onto it. What kept you busy so long? He asked, suspecting she probably had met with her ex-husband again.

I had a lot of things to get done at the office. She replied truthfully, taking out some files of her briefcase and sitting down at the desk.

As he stood in front of her desk now, Alexis noticed his serious face. Something seemed to bother him. Is there something wrong? She asked.

You tell me, Alexis! He replied with anger growing in his voice.

I have no idea what you getting at? She said tired.

Dex Dexter. He declared, watching carefully for her reaction.

Alexiss brows furrowed at that comment and she looked a little suspiciously at him. Did Zach know something? What did he know? Alexis played innocent. Whats the matter with him?

Ive heard you bailed him out of his trouble. Tell me that isnt true!

Alexis was confused. There was no way he could know that. The bank had guaranteed her anonymity. She retrieved a cigarette and lit it. Why the hell would I help Dex? She attempted to cover.

Why? Because you are still after him. Thats why! He reproached her.

Alexis brushed off his comment with a laugh as she exhaled the cigarette smoke. Thats ridiculous.

Really is it? He asked back with detectable anger in his tone.

Yes. She shouted at him, a hint of nervousness evident behind her eyes.

You never lied very well. Zach returned harshly. I know about your $ 500 million deal with Bloomfield & Grant.

Alexis was highly uncomfortable. She felt his eyes moving over her face and reading her like a book.

What else is going on between you and Dexter?

Nothing! Alexis wanted to stop his interrogation. Listen, I am tired of this.

Zach reached into his breast pocket, pulled out the photos that Caress had given to him and threw them onto the desk before her. How long is your affair with your ex-husband going on already? He asked directly.

Her eyes grew wide in shock as she glanced down at the first picture. Alexis was appalled.

How long? Zach repeated the question, yelling this time.

Alexis regained her composure. Zach, you misunderstand these pictures ... She tried to tell him that they were made several months ago, but she couldnt finish the sentence.

Whats there not to understand? He cut her off. This time he sounded so furiously that she hesitated to reply. How could she explain to Zach, that she slept with Dex the night before she accepted his proposal?

Did you really think I wouldnt find out? Zachs voice rose with each word.

Alexis looked up at him, not knowing what to say. She had never seen him so overcome by anger. But even more than Zachs temper, scared her existence of these photos and the question who played them into Zachs hands. Where did you get these photos? She asked, flipping swiftly through them.

Thats irrelevant! He replied.

I want all pictures and negatives. She demanded with determination.

Zach laughed under his anger. Sure, I would be worried too if I were you. Imagine the press gets a hold of them and the board of ColbyCo and your investors are seeing these photos. It would be disastrous for your reputation. Everybody in the oil business could see with their own eyes whats generally known anyway ... about you and your special business practices.

After that remark Alexis became furious too. You wouldnt dare! She hissed.

He fixed his eyes coldly on Alexis. You shouldnt think for a second I wouldnt do it! He bluffed.

Alexis got up from the desk and approached him. Do it and I bring you down! She swore.

You want to bring me down? How? He laughed again.

Ill tell Caress the truth about what happened in Caracas back then. She explained.

Dont you forgetting there a small detail? Were in this together. He asked.

I may have a lot to lose, but youve got more to lose than I do. She reminded him. Im not responsible for Ricardos death. You killed him.

That was an accident. He defended himself.

Nobody would believe you if I testify against you. She said, putting her hands on her hips and looking him square in the eye.

Are you threatening me?

Call it like you want. She said coldly.

He studied her eyes, but he couldnt tell if she was bluffing or not. That was a mistake, Alexis. He assured her before he turned and made his way out.

Later, At A Restaurant uptown Laramie, Wyoming.

Dex was smiling as he twilled Scarlet on the dance floor once more.

I guess you have forgiven me. Scarlet asked.

There was nothing to forgive. Dex dipped her. I had you checked out this afternoon, and I found out that you are as good as your word.

You what? She pulled away and walked over to their table.

Im sorry, I realized I knew nothing about you, and I wanted to know more.

She picked up her coat, and purse. If you wanted to know anything about me Dex Dexter you could have asked.

Scarlet, Im sorry.

Good night, Mr. Dexter. She stated as she left him standing there speechless.

Caress's Penthouse - The Next Morning.

It was early morning hour when Kyle succeeds to slip in Caresss building. The security man was sleepy and Kyle used it. Caress was still in her penthouse suite. Kyle called there to make sure she didnt left to the office yet. He spent the last hour at the stairs room, waiting Caress to leave the apartment. Almost one hour and a half after he had arrived there it finally happened. Caress left her penthouse suite, locked the door and went downstairs with the elevator. Kyle waited few minutes before he pulled out from his pocket the thief-key and broke into her apartment. It was piece of cake for him. In a matter of seconds the door opened and he entered her apartment. Kyle knew Caress was very cautious and assumed she got rid of any document that could have connected her to the consortium. But after his little visit at the Hilton yesterday, he was sure hed finds something that connected Caress to Lindsay.

It could be the answer he thought to himself while searching in Caresss drawers. He wanted so much the Carringtons to accept him. He needed to know what Caress and Lindsay were up to. Then he would go to Blake and tell him everything. But he needed solid proofs.

Well thats interested. He said to himself while finding Caresss phonebook He opened it and looked inside. Bingo! He smiled, reading Lindsays phone number. He pulled his cell phone out and dialed.

Georgia Parker speaking Lindsays voice was heard from the other side of the line. Kyle hung up quickly and smiled. Georgia, hmm? What a joke! He thought. Now he didnt have any doubt; Lindsay was in town, pretending to be some reporter named Georgia. But why was she so determined to hurt the Carringtons? Wanted she take revenge for her husbands death or was there more? He had so many questions without answers. I have to know morehe thought as he continued to search for information that could help him. But he couldnt find anything more. Disappointed him gave up, realizing that he wouldnt get any answers he here. But maybe at the Hilton

Lindsay's Hotel Suite

Steven's head was throbbing. His whole body ached. He opened his eyes and tried to get up, but his hand was under Lindsay's head. His movement caused her to wake up.

Well good morning lover. I have to say last night was wonderful. I guess all those stories about you being gay were lies. Lindsay caressed his chest and tried to kiss him. Steven pushed her away. He sat up, his head spinning. He didn't recall much about last night. He vaguely remembered his conversation with her and after the ultra sound picture his mind went blank.

Georgia, what happened between us? What have you done to me? He asked naively. He wasnt drunk last night, so how did this happen?

We made love last night, it was wonderful. You told me you loved me. Lindsay lied. Steven mumbled a lot of things mainly Sammy Jos and Jims names, but luckily her mothers name only came up once. She had to act fast before Steven remembered more.

I don't believe this. I'm sorry, Georgia. I don't know what you did to me but last night was a mistake. Steven stated, throwing the blanket off.

If this is your way of dealing with your feelings for women, no wonder you believe you're gay. Lindsay approached him.

Steven pushed her away and got up. Im gay. Its as simple as that! Trust me if I wanted to be with a woman it wouldn't be you.

Maybe you just need a real woman Lindsay added.

A real woman? I've had a real women, you're not even close. Steven picked up his clothes.

Damn you Steven, last night you made the first move, not I. You're living a lie. Lindsay got up and approached him as he put his pants on.

I dont know what you're up to, Georgia but consider yourself warned. I'm watching you. Steven shouted back.

Get out, now! I'm trying to help your family, youjust leave! Lindsay grabbed the rest of his stuff, walked into the door and threw it out.

Steven got out. I'd watch my back if I were you! He slammed the door.

Damn, this didn't turn out the way it was suppose to. She had to act quickly now to accomplish her plans.

At The Same Time, Downstairs

I'm sorry, there is no Mrs. Woo in room 222, Mr. Roberts. You must be mistaken. The hotel receptionist stated.

Are you sure?; Blond, not too tall, real beautiful? Kyle asked again.

Well, that does sound like our guest. But Im sorry; I cant give you more information. The receptionist said. But Kyle wasnt about to give up. He pulled out his wallet and gave the man a nice tip. The receptionist looked around him, making sure nobody was watching him and took the money. Well, her name is Georgia Parker and she's a reporter, working on some important story. That's all I know. The receptionist answered.

Thank you. Kyle smiled and walked away. What was Mrs. Woo up to? The revenge on the Carrington must not be over. Now what?
