Billings, Montana, Dana Warring�s Apartment Dana was busy in her small but clean kitchen; she was waiting for the bacon to fry to finish off the breakfast that she had prepared for Adam. �I hope he still likes his coffee black.� Dana said to herself. Adam was taking a shower. It had taken her half the night to calm Adam down and he still was convinced that she had been in Denver, and held prisoner of a woman named Faith Litton. Finally she had given in and listened to his story, about everything that had happened since the charity ball, up to the point that Adam left the clinic in Colorado Springs. �I couldn�t have been in Denver, could I.� she shook her head trying to make the images flash form her mind. The truth was lately she wasn�t so sure where she had spent the last month, she had clear memories of being in New York, but also she had these flashes of scenes Adam described, but which memories were true she didn�t know, but she hoped Adam would help her remember. She smiled as she herd the water shut off in the bathroom. �Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes. If you need to shave, I think I have some extra razors under the sink.� She called to Adam; it felt nice to have him close. The last few years had been tough in the love department for Dana, she had drifted form one failed relationship to another, never forgetting her first and last love Adam Alexander Carrington, could her life have come full circle she wondered, but again she shook her head, it was best not to think of things like that, she first had to help Adam. �It�s been along time since a woman�s made a meal for me.� Adam smiled as he stepped into the kitchen. Dana smiled. �Well it�s been a while since I�ve made anyone but myself anything.� Adam sat down, and Dana began to serve him scrambled eggs, toast, and the slightly charred bacon she had prepared. �This looks great.� Dana joined him. �Do you feel better?� �Yes much, I haven�t felt this relaxed in a long while.� Adam said as he shoved a fork full of eggs into his mouth. �You think I�m crazy don�t you.� He spoke matter of fact. �I don�t think you are crazy, in fact, I think you are far form it.� �But� Adam commented. �I just don�t remember being in Denver, I get these flashes, but it won�t come all the way through, and I vividly remember being in New York. I had meetings and I have a briefcase full of contracts to prove it.� �I just don�t understand how that can be?� Adam said. �Unless I really am crazy, Dana it was so real, I know it was you I was dancing with at the Ball. I even remember the way you felt in my arms.� When Adam finished his sentence Dana froze, in her minds eye she saw herself dancing with Adam, and then a beautiful black woman in a mask cut into their dance. �No, no that can�t be. I was in New York.� Adam stood up. �Dana what is it?� then Adam was stunned into silence as Dana passed out. He leaped to his feet and ran around the side of the table she was on. �Dana, wake up!� But it was no use. She was mumbling, but when Adam raised her eye lids all he got was a blank stare. �What is happing to you? What is happing to both of us?�  Jim�s Apartment �Jim?� Ashley called when she entered the apartment. She had left Danny a message that she would be busy with some arrangements and had left the mansion early this morning. She felt uncomfortable there between Danny and LB. She needed to be alone for a few hours and maybe talk with somebody about it. Jim was the man. �In the bedroom �� She heard Jim�s voice. �Are you alone?� She almost was afraid to ask. The last thing she needed right now was to see him in bed with Steven, or Sammy Jo, or some other person he was sleeping with. She knew Jim too well. She knew he had no problem to be romantically involved with someone and in the same time to sleep with someone else. But she didn�t say anything about that to Danny or to his parents. She had enough worries of her own right now. �Yes, you can come in.� Jim smiled to himself when Ashley entered his bedroom. He was packing clothes in a suitcase. Ashley looked at him, confused. �Going somewhere?� �Yep. I�ll spend the weekend at Delta Rho with Sammy Jo.� He said with a big smile. �Oh, really?� She was surprised. �Yes, really. You are not the only one who�s sleeping with a Carrington you know.� He said happily. �Well, or with a Colby. Depends with whom you where last night.� He added amused. Ashley didn�t smile. She didn�t like his last remark and he immediately sensed that. �Woops, sorry. Bad joke I guess.� he apologized. �God� if you only knew how much it�s true.� She replied, sitting down on his bed. �I�m sorry, Ash. I know you are in some lousy situation.� �You couldn�t find a better word.� The girl said. �So bad, ha?� He closed the suitcase and sat next to her on the bed. �Krystina found LB and me kissing in Danny�s room.� �No!� �Oh, yes� it was horrible. Now she knows the truth.� �Didn�t you try to explain it to her?� �Explain what? It was obvious. I was half naked.� �Wow, in Danny�s room?!� That would have been too much, even for him to do. �Yep. I was about to change into a swimsuit when LB entered.� �And he couldn�t wait of course.� �Yes� until Krystina showed up.� �Wow. I bet it wasn�t a big pleasure for you.� �Believe me, no. I felt like hell.� �I�m sure. I�ve been there last year, remember? When Sammy Jo found me in bed with Steven.� He said. Maybe Ashley wasn�t his nature daughter, but she certainly was like him in many ways. �Yes� can you imagine if Danny had entered instead of Krystina? I don�t even want to think about that.� She stood up. �So you have to be more cautious. By the way, what about Krystina? She and Danny are pretty close. She won�t say anything, will she?� �I don�t think so. She has enough problems of her own right now.� �But still� honey, you have to talk with Danny. I guess he still doesn�t know you decided to stay in Denver?� Jim guessed. �No, I couldn�t tell him, Jim. He�ll be so disappointed.� �Well, trust me. It�s better for him to be disappointed because of that than to find out you are sleeping with his cousin.� �I know. I have to talk with him. Krystina also knows I�m going to stay in town, to be with LB.� �So you have to talk with Danny, as soon as possible. Before it will be too late.� Jim said. She nodded. �Good morning!� Sammy Jo called smiling when Krystina entered the kitchen. The young woman sat down to the table. �Morning,� she wasn�t smiling. �Well, obviously something is wrong again�� Sammy Jo said and sat next to her. �Want to talk about that?� �What�s there to talk? Same old story.� the girl murmured. �Blake?� Sammy Jo guessed and poured her young cousin a cup of coffee. 
�I wanted so much to straight things between us, Sammy Jo. I was even willing to consider going back home� but his attitude last night was too bad.� �Krystina, you know your father has so much to deal right now. With all the craziness he had with the consortium, and now Adam�s being missing - � �What?� Krystina cut her words. �Didn�t you hear about that? Adam disappeared from the clinic. The police are looking for him.� Sammy Jo told her when the doorbell rang. �I get it.� She stood up and went to open the door. �Hi, Kyle.� �Hi. Is Krys up?� He asked. �Yep, she�s in the kitchen. And she�s not in a great mod.� Sammy Jo added. Kyle didn�t ask why. He knew it wouldn�t be easy to convince Blake to accept him to the family, but he hoped Krystina would succeed to talk with the old man this time. Apparently he was wrong. �Hi, baby.� He said when he entered the kitchen. �Oh, Kyle.� The girl stood up and hugged him. �I�m so happy that you are here.� She kissed him. He kissed her back and they both sat at the table. �I assume things didn�t work out last night?� �Not at all. I knew it would be a waste of time.� �I�m sorry. Maybe I shouldn�t have convinced you to go there.� �No, Kyle. It�s not your fault. I really thought I had a chance last night. Maybe the timing was bad.� �Why?� He wondered. �Sammy Jo just told me my brother Adam is missing. Apparently he disappeared from the clinic he was hospitalized in.� �Oh� I didn�t know he was sick.� �Steven told me something about that a few days ago, but I didn�t know how serious it is. Now I understand why my father was so upset last night. He still thinks the consortium is after him.� She explained. �Does he have a reason to think so?� �I don�t know� but I certainly hope this woman will clear things for us.� �What woman?� Kyle asked, drinking some coffee. �Some reporter my mother hired. I think she�s trying to help them finding out more about the consortium.� �A reporter?� Kyle remembered what the receptionist at the hotel had told him. Her name is Georgia Parker and she's a reporter working on some important story. �Do you know this woman�s name?� �No, I happened to hear Sammy Jo and Steven talking about her� why?� �I�m working on something, Krys. Something that can help us very much.� �What are you talking about?� Krystina didn�t understand. �I�m not sure yet, but there is something with this reporter that is very strange.� �What strange?� �I don�t know. But I will go to the bottom of this. I promise.� He said and drank his coffee. Sammy Jo didn�t want to disturb them - but she knew right away which woman Kyle was talking about. Georgia. �Hello Sarah.� Caress greeted her secretary as she passed her desk in the outer office. �Good morning, mam. Mr. Powers is waiting in your office already.� The young woman informed her. �He said it�s urgent that he talks to you, and he didn�t want me to schedule an appointment for him.� �Really?� Caress smiled to herself. Obviously her plan to drive a wedge between Zach Powers and her sister seemed to work. �Thank you, Sarah.� She said and entered her office. �Hello Zach.� She exclaimed, faking friendliness as she closed the door and walking over to her desk. �What can I do for you?� Zach Powers turned away from the window. He hadn�t got a good night sleep after his confrontation with Alexis the previous night, especially because of her threat to tell Caress the truth about Ricardo�s death. �Actually nothing, Caress. But I can do something for you.� He offered. Caress raised her eyebrows. �Oh really? Please explain.� Zach took a seat in front of her desk, trying to look calm and controlled, in reality Alexis�s betray and the fear the full amount of his involvement in Caress�s conviction could come out was eaten him up. �Caress, I want to get right to the point. You always reproached Alexis and me with having lied about Ch?vez�s death and being responsible for your imprisonment. I feel I have to tell you what really happened back then, because I think you have the right to know after all you have gone through.� �So you do have a conscience?� Caress laughed. �Oh please, don�t give me that, Zach. You�re here to get back at Alexis, because she betrayed you with Dexter.� She said bluntly. �Okay, let�s say we have a mutual interest here, and that�s revenge.� Zach admitted. � I know that�s what you want more than anything else, and I think I�ve got a way to accomplish it.� �Alright Zach, then tell me what happened that night on your yacht.� He thought again about the consequences of letting Caress into the almost for 25 years hidden secret, but he felt he had to do it to protect himself. �Ch?vez�s death was an accident. He came on board without my knowing and begged Alexis to give their relationship a second chance. But she refused and he got violent, threatening to kill her if she wouldn�t come back. He started to hit her brutally and in an act of self-defense she stepped him with the letter opener. When I found your sister she was totally beside herself. She was afraid nobody would believe her. I was worried for her, and so I agreed to help her. We planned to let his body vanish in the open sea later that night.� �But if his dead was only an accident, why did I convicted for the murder on Ricardo? Why did you blame it on me? How could you do this to me? � She asked reproachful, almost yelling. �We didn�t do that; and we didn�t mean for you to get convicted.� Zach defended himself. �Well, you could have prevented my conviction. You only needed to say the truth!� She replied angrily. �That�s what I wanted to do, but ...� �But?!� �I couldn�t.� �Why?� Zach hesitated for a moment. �Alexis threatened that she would say I killed him out of jealousy and I would spend the rest of my life in jail if I would mention a word of that to anyone. I let my fear control me. Look I�m sorry for what has happened, but I can�t change the past.� �And that�s supposed to make everything all better?� She shouted. �I know that doesn�t change the fact that I was wrong, but I�m serious Caress, I want to make it up to you.� �Believe me, you will ... dearly!� She assured him, trying to keep her emotions in check, because she might could still use him. �But first I want Alexis to pay for this!� Caress said furiously, standing up and making her way to the door. Zach stopped her. �What are you going to do?� �Honestly I would love to kill her right now, but that�s far too easy. I�m going to make it public. I want the whole world to know, that she�s not only a liar but a murderer too. And I�d like nothing more than to see Alexis behind bars after she put me there for so many years.� �No, Caress! You can�t make it public.� He objected. �I�m willing to help you in any way, but I�m not risking spending time in jail.� Caress hesitated and Zach used the moment to convince her. �Alexis will pay some how�some way.� He assured her. Alexis's office Caress entered her sister�s office, slamming the door behind her loudly. Alexis looked up from the report she had been reading. �Is there anything that I can do for you?� She asked, not impressed by Caress entrance. Caress came closer and stopped in front of her sister�s desk. She was furious and her eyes were glowing dangerously. With one big sweep she slammed everything onto the desk to the floor. Then propped with both of her hands on the desk, leaning over it and shouting directly into Alexis�s face. �You�re going to pay for everything!� Alexis jumped to her feet and stepped out from behind her desk. �Did you lose your mind completely now?� She shouted at her. Without any warning Caress hit her sister�s face as hard as she could. Alexis almost lost her balance. �Are you insane?� She yelled at her as she got over the shock. �Zach told me everything.� Caress hissed angrily. �What? What did he tell you?� Alexis asked nervously. �He told me what really happened that night on his yacht. It was you who killed Ricardo and then you lay the blame on me.� She replied, hitting Alexis like mad. �That�s a damn lie!� Alexis defended herself, trying to get hold of Caress�s wrists. She couldn�t believe that Zach had shifted all the blame to her. �Come on Alexis, you don�t have to hide your dirty little secret anymore. Admit it! I want to hear it from your mouth. I have been waiting for this moment for 24 years now.� �No, that�s just not true. Zach lied to you. It was him who accidentally killed Ricardo and it was his idea to say nothing after the police arrested you.� Caress cut her off, screaming. �Oh shut up! Stop trying to pass this off on Zach!� �Caress, you need to hear me out.� Alexis implored. �I didn�t want that to happen and Zach promised me that you wouldn�t get convicted, because the district attorney had just not enough evidence against you.� She explained, even she knew there was no justification for her silence. �I�m sorry, Caress. I wish I could go back in time and changed everything ...� Caress shook her head. �You expect me to believe that?� �You have to believe it, because it�s the truth.� She desperately assured her. Caress raised her hand. �Oh, save your breath; I don�t believe you and I�m tired of your lies!� Alexis felt helpless. How was she going to get herself out of this? �How could you do that to me?� Caress asked reproachfully. Alexis couldn�t look at her. �You have no idea what I�m going to do to you.� Caress said and her gaze was that of pure hatred. �When I�m done with you, your worst nightmare will come true.� She added, before making her way to the door and leaving the room. Alexis was beside herself. She was frightened and furiously angry. She picked up the phone from the floor and dialed a number. �Here�s Alexis Colby. I want to talk to Mr. Powers immediately.� �I�m sorry, mam. He�s in a meeting.� His secretary informed her. Alexis�s anger flared. �I don�t care! I want you to put me through!� She insisted. �I�m sorry, Mrs. Colby, but Mr. Powers doesn�t want to get disturbed now.� Furiously Alexis slammed the phone down onto the receiver, assuming that the meeting was only an excuse. But that bloody bastard was not going to get through with this. At the meantime, outside Alexis's office While Caress went out upset from Alexis's office, Sammy Jo went out from the elevator and entered the floor. �Hi Maria. How are you?� She asked Steven's secretary walking up to her desk. �Sammy Jo, what a wonderful surprise. It's been a while.� Maria smiled. �Is he in?� Sammy Jo asked. �Yes, you might be exactly what he needs.� Maria stated. She liked Sammy Jo. �Really? How come?� Sammy Jo asked worried. �He's not feeling too well.� Maria stated. �Thanks, I'll see what I can do.� Sammy Jo said as she opened Steven's office door. �Hi, Steven.� Sammy Jo smiled approaching his desk. �Sammy Jo, hi. What are you doing here?� Steven mumbled. Sammy Jo looked at him and noticed a glossy look in his eyes. �Steven, are you okay? Have you been drin�� �No, I haven't. Oh Sammy Jo, I don't feel good. I�m so cold.� Steven was shaking. Sammy Jo came closer. �My god, Steven you're burning up. Come on, let's go!� �Go? Where?� Steven tried to get up as Sammy Jo helped him. �To the hospital, of course!� Sammy Jo stated. �Oh no, no way. I have meetings and�� Steven tried resisting. �That can wait, let's go.� Sammy Jo opened the door. The Memorial Hospital - Few Hours Later Dr. Richards looked at Sammy Jo and Steven. Steven was lying in a hospital bed. �Well from what I can tell, you were drugged with Rohypnol l.� �The date rape drug?� Sammy Jo asked. �What?� Steven asked. �It's a drug that make you more susceptible to have sex.� Dr. Richard explained. �From you told me, it was used on you for that purpose. I'm sorry Steven.� Dr. Richard added. �What now?� Sammy Jo asked. �You can file charges. You should be okay Steven. The drug should wear off soon. Sammy Jo, you should make sure he takes it easy and rests.� He looked at Sammy Jo. He's known Steven too long. �Okay! Thanks Dr. Richard.� Sammy Jo said. �Let me know what you plan to do. Good day!� Dr. Richards headed out. �Dr. Richard I need your advice!� Jim called after him. �Poor Steven. How can I help you, Jim?� Dr. Richards asked. �What's wrong?� Jim asked. �I just treated Steven Carrington for Rohypnol drug. Poor guy!� Dr. Richard explained. Jim face turned white "Oh my god! Who did this to him?� �Some reporter, I don't know exactly. It's not often I see this drug used on men, terrifying! Now what can I do for you?� Jim had arrived at the hospital a couple of hours ago being page, leaving Sammy Jo at the breakfast table. �A patient of mine collapsed.� Jim began explaining, but his mind was already on something else. Damn you Lindsay what are you up to? �She is more dangerous than I thought Sammy Jo. I better warn Krystle and Dad." Steven stated. �That's what I came to tell you, I overheard Kyle and Kristina talking earlier about Georgia. Kyle said he is going to find out what she�s up too� �This is strange. Why Kyle would help my father?� �Maybe he wants to prove his loyalty� �By investigate Georgia motives� it�s sound very strange� �Not unless he knows this woman, Steven� Sammy Jo looked at him. they both thought on the same thing. �You think Kyle knows Georgia?� �I don�t know� but I know one thing for sure: She's lying to us!� �I agree. Lindsay's Suite Hotel Jim stormed into Lindsay's suite. He grabbed the phone she was holding and threw it across the room. �Hey! What the�� Lindsay turned to face him. �What the hell are you up to, kid?� Jim screamed. �Jim! What wrong with you?� Lindsay asked quietly. �Wrong with me? Damn it Lindsay! You promised me no one would get hurt. And then you go and poison Steven! Are you crazy?� Jim yelled. �How did you find out?� Lindsay asked. It's bad enough, her plan didn't work she didn't need this. �That's not important, what are you up to?� Jim asked again. �It was nothing, I just enjoyed our last time in bed together and you were busy with Sammy Jo. Steven came over�� Lindsay lied. �And you decided to poison him so you can have sex, please.� Jim rebottled. �Okay, I just want to cause him to doubt himself; break him; drive him crazy.� Like he drove my mother insane. Lindsay thought. �Are you nuts? That would throw Steven straight into Sammy Jo's arms. I'd loose her!� Jim said upset. �Well you'll always have me.� Lindsay stated. �No, I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. It's over. Stay out of my life. I don't want to see you again.� Jim turned away and headed for the door. �Let me remind you, I can ruin your career.� Lindsay stated angrily. �No you can't since I know who you really are. One more stunt likes this and I will tell Steven and Sammy Jo who you really are Mrs. Woo. Stay out of my life!� Jim headed out. �She'll never be enough for you Jimmy boy. You'll be back.� Lindsay watched him slam the door. She didn't expect Jim to sale her short. She must act soon. She looked at her parents' picture. They will all pay for what they did to you. �Krystle!� Steven called when he entered the mansion and saw her stepping downstairs. �Hi!� Krystle was surprised to see him. �What is going on? Are you all right?� She noticed his paled face. �I�ll be fine. Not thanks to your reporter friend.� he said. �Georgia? What happened?� She asked. Few minutes later they were sitting at the living room, talking. Steven told her what Georgia did to him and about his suspicion that she was hiding something. �Are you sure about that? Georgia seemed to be so nice.� Krystle had a hard time to think this woman was not what she pretends to be. �Positive. I�m telling you. She could be very dangerous. We have to tell dad about that.� �No, not yet. He is so worried for Adam. I don�t want to cause him more stress right now, not until we�ll be perfectly sure about that.� �What about Adam? Any news?� �No. The police are still looking for him. I just hope they�ll find him in time. Poor Joseph, he keeps asking when Adam is coming back. He already lost his mother� if anything will happen to Adam�� Tears swept her eyes. �I�m sure Adam is fine, Krystle. The police will find him soon.� �I hope so. It just seems like it�ll never end, you know? Instead of resting and be peaceful your father is running all time and is scared somebody will hunt us again. It�s just so frustrating, god!� �I know. But Blake is a strong man you know, and he loves you so much. He won�t let anybody to hurt you.� Steven smiled to her. �Still� I don�t want to tell him about Georgia yet. No until we�ll have solid proof.� �I�ll do everything I can to find out who she really is and what she�s up to.� Steven said. La Mirage, Colorado Lounge restaurant Miles Colby picked up his cell phone. �Miles Colby.� �Miles its Amanda, I need you to stall Fallon for a while longer, Jeff is in a meeting, and I�m not sure when I will be able to get there.� �I�ll do my best.� Miles ended the call with her as soon as he saw Fallon heading for him. He stood up to greet her. �You look beautiful. �She was wearing a stunning light blue strapless evening gown. �Thank you, I had a meeting with some clients and I thought that if I looked sexy enough that maybe they would sign.� �Did they?� Fallon frowned �No they didn�t.� Miles laughed, and Fallon slugged her. �It�s not funny, if I don�t get enough capital infused into this hotel, Daddy and Sable will loose everything they invested.� �I�m sorry, but I have faith in you.� �I�m glad somebody does.� Fallon said as she took a sip of the champagne that Miles had ordered. �Jeff obviously doesn�t.� �Come on give the guy a break.� Miles said looking across the table into her eyes. �Jeff loves you very much. He has tremendous faith in your capabilities. In fact the other day I heard him telling Blake that he thought you did a hell of a job turning La Mirage around.� Fallon smiled. �He did, what am I saying who cares, and why would you be defending him?� �Because I know he loves you, and if you two would stop being so childish you would realize that no one else in the world can make you two as happy as each other.� �Yes you are right I love Jeff, and I probably always will, but we are not meant to be together, we fight all the time, we make each other miserable. It just doesn�t work any more.� Fallon said trying to force herself to believe the words. �Fallon, I can�t believe I�m saying this, I�ve loved you for as long as I can remember, but Jeff is a good man, He and I may not see eye to eye on many things, but we both love you. But the difference between Jeff and me was that he has staying power. If you two tried hard, I know you could make it work.� Fallon had tears in her eyes. She reached across the table and touched Miles face. �You are wrong about one thing. You are the good man. I�m proud of the man that you have become.� Miles blushed. �Thank you, maybe some day I will be as lucky as you.� �But Miles it�s too late, Jeff and I have gone two far this time. I�m afraid that he may never forgive me.� �Amanda is going to kill me for this, but what the hell.� Fallon frowned again. �What does my simpering little sister have to do with this?� �If you would give her half a chance you may see how kind and caring that she can be. It was her idea for you and I to have dinner tonight, and then she and Jeff would show up, and then Amanda and I would force the two of you into listening to us explain how each of you got the wrong idea about what has been going on lately.� �She did?� �Yes, even though you don�t give your little sister much of a chance, she gave you one. A chance to be with your husband again, and if you leave right now you can catch Jeff at the office. No come on, we�ve got some place to go.� Miles picked up the phone, calling Amanda and telling her about a change in plans. As they left the lounge, Harold walked over to a booth in the corner and sat down across form a man in a dark suit, and graying hair. �Why is Fallon Colby leaving here tonight looking so happy?� the man asked. �I don�t know, but it�s only a matter of time before she comes crashing down form cloud nine.� Harold smiled. �I wouldn�t be so sure about that.� The man said. �I thought the convention was going to be shut down yesterday, but now I find that the shipment that you were supposed to stop arrived on time.� Harold became nervous. �I�m not sure how that happened. I personally canceled it myself.� �Maybe I put my faith in the wrong man?� �No you didn�t. We still have the shipment of cocaine, in the warehouse. I�ll call the police tomorrow morning, and give them an anonymous tip. La Mirage will be shut down by noon, and then you can slip in and buy La Mirage at auction price.� The man smiled. �I hope you are right. Harold. I hope you are right� Billings, Montana, Dana Warring�s apartment Adam was sitting in a chair beside Dana�s bed, for the past two hours she had been unconscious, and rambling on about the events of the past few months. It seemed that in her unconscious state she was reliving the terror at the convention center, her imprisonment with Mrs. Litton, and the final confrontation at the Christmas Tree Square. �I knew I was right. I�m not crazy after all.� Adam said as he stroked her hair. �I just hope that when you come out of this you have your memory back.� �Adam, Adam nooooooooo��..� She screamed, and Adam jumped, and then there was silence. Adam got up and went into the outer room. �Maybe I should call father, maybe he would no what to do.� Adam said as he went to the phone, but stopped. �No I have to take Dana with me back to Denver, but I must rest first.� Adam grabbed a blanket and sat down on the couch. Meanwhile back in Dana�s room, Dana had woken up and walked over to her phone, she seemed to be in a trance like state, and began to dial a number; she spoke into the phone clearly. �Thin is Dana Warring.� She paused listening. �Yes, Yes, I understand.� She paused again. �I will complete my mission.� Dana hung up the phone, and walked back to the nightstand and opened the drawer, and picked up a shinny pearl handled revolver. �I know what I must tomorrow morning.� Outside Dana Warring�s apartment Mrs. Litton smiled as she talked into her phone. �Yes I just got off the phone with her now.� �And will she do it?� the woman on the other end of the line asked. �She will carry out her programming, and soon it will be all over for Adam Carrington.� 
Denver, Denver Carrington Building
Amanda sat impatiently in Jeff�s waiting area while he spoke to Blake and a police officer in his office. She looked at her watch. �Oh come on Jeff, Miles and Fallon will be here soon.� Meanwhile, inside �I agree Mr. Carrington that Adam is a danger to himself and others, but that still doesn�t change the fact that he escaped from the clinic with out a trace. He�s been gone 48 hours, by now he could be half way to China for all we know.� �I don�t believe that. I think my son is out there somewhere trying to prove his story.� Blake insisted. �But Blake you know he could be any where?� Jeff said. �I don�t think so. I believe he is on the way to see Dana.� The police office scratched his head. �In Montana?� �Yes.� �I�ll have my men on it right away.� The police officer smiled, and left the room. �Blake, Amanda is waiting, are you going to be all right?� Jeff asked. �I�ll be fine, I�m just worried about half of my family right now.� Blake smiled as he placed his hand on Jeff�s shoulder. �You go on and have a good time.� Jeff packed up his briefcase, but Blake stopped him. �Jeff.� �Yes �� �Any news about Sable?� Jeff sat his briefcase down. �No. I�m afraid she�s still in a coma, the doctors don�t hold out much hope of her waking up.� Blake shook his head. It pained him to hear how his old friend was doing. �And Cameron how is he?� �He�s doing as well as can be expected.� �Let me know if there is any change.� Blake walked Jeff out the door and into the waiting area to Amanda. �I�m sorry I kept him form you darling.� �Its okay daddy.� She hugged him. �I�ll see you tomorrow.� Jeff and Amanda walked to the elevator, and Jeff began. �Are you ready for dinner?� Jeff pressed the elevator button. Amanda panicked. She had to keep Jeff here a few minutes longer. �Oh Jeff I forgot my purse.� But as the words were out of her mouth Jeff looked down and saw the purse at her side, the elevator door opened and he pulled her in. �It�s on your shoulder.� Jeff began to push the button when he realized that Miles was standing there blocking it. �What the hell are you doing her?� Jeff demanded. �Trying to help us?� Jeff turned around and looked in to Fallon�s eyes. �Oh Fallon I didn�t notice you.� �Jeff if you will only listen �� Amanda said and Jeff cut her off. �You are in on this two. I have to get out of here.� He was about to push the open button when Miles pressed the all stop. �You are not going any where.� The Carlton Restaurant Alexis walked into the restaurant and glanced around the room. She was determined to find Zach Powers and make him tell Caress the truth about the circumstances of Ricardo�s death and her imprisonment. �Mrs. Colby, how do you do. Table for one?� The head waiter addressed her, immediately after he had notice who just had entered the room. �No thank you. I�m looking for Mr. Zach Powers. I was told that he�s here.� She asked. �Yes mam, he�s right over there.� �Thanks.� She replied, already making her way to his table, where Zach was lunching with a business partner. �Hello, Zach.� She greeted him icily, interrupting his conversation. �Alexis,� he exclaimed, looking up at her with a fake smile. �What a nice surprise.� Alexis was furious, but tried to maintain her cool demeanor. �We need to talk ... privately.� She demanded. Zach took a sip of his drink. �Can�t that wait, Alexis?� He tried to dismiss her. �No, it can�t!� She replied with determination. Zach noticed the anger in her eyes. He knew she was ready to make him a scene. �Well, we could clear it right here, where everybody can hear it, but you surely don�t want that!� She said loudly, throwing a warning look at Zach. The people at the nearby tables were already staring at them. �I hope you�re not going to make a fool of yourself.� He said, wanting to stop any possible outbreaks before they began. �That�s entirely up to you.� �All right, if it�s that urgent.� He finally conceded. �Douglas, please excuse me for a moment. I�ll be right back.� He said, standing up and making his exit with Alexis. �What do you want?� Zach asked short-tempered as they arrived in his suite. �You know damn well what I want, you lying bastard! Why did you do that?� She shouted at him. �That�s your own fault. You shouldn�t have threatened me.� He proclaimed. Alexis was desperate. �I would never have told Caress anything.� �Maybe not this time, but I can�t trust you anymore.� He said. �I want that you tell her the truth!� Alexis demanded. �Why should I?� Zach laughed. �Because I�m not going to stand for it alone.� �Well, what can you do?� He said, twisting his lips into a smirk. �You know that it�s a lie. But can you prove it?� He paused for a moment, enjoying himself. �Your naive sister believed me every word. It was easier than I thought. Now, if you�ll excuse me. Douglas is waiting.� He dismissed her. �You are not getting rid of me so easily.� She yelled, stepping in his way and charging at him. He caught her wrists and forced her arms behind her back, holding her tightly. �How does it make you feel, to be the betrayed one?� Zach breathed, his eyes moving from her eyes to her lips and back to her eyes, which flashed with fury. �You�re a fool, Alexis. Dexter and you deserve each other.� He said with contempt. Alexis tried to free herself from his hold. �You want to fight me? Well, that�s one fight you�re going to lose.� �We�ll see about that.� Zach said, releasing her. She pulled away from him massaging her wrists. �We�re finished.� He stated coldly and left the room. As soon as he was gone Alexis pulled a small tape recorder out of her purse. It was still running. She pressed the stop button and checked that it had got everything. �Finished? I haven�t even begun, Zach.� She said to herself. You packed all your things?� �No, not yet� She was serious. �Why not? that�s why you went there, no?� He didn�t understand. �Not exactly. I wanted to talk with Jim.� She tried to find the right words. She knew it wouldn�t be easy for him. �Okay, I guess you have lots of things to take, so we can do this later, right?� he was still smiling and listening to the music. �Danny� I�m not going to pack anything.� �Why, you want everything new?� He joked, but she didn�t smile. �Ashley, what�s going on?� He asked, seeing how much serious she is. �I thought about that over and over again, Danny. I can�t come with you to Princeton.� That�s it. She finally said the words. �What? What do you mean you can�t come with me? It�s all set!� He wasn�t smiling anymore. �I�m sorry. But it�s just not right. I want to study here, in Denver.� �I don�t get that. Where did that come from? We agreed you are moving in with me in the moment you�ll come back from Israel. You are already listed there. What changed?� �Nothing changed, Danny. I didn�t want to go there in the first place. I just let my feelings to guide me, but it�s wrong. Jeff, Fallon, Amanda and Miles were all sitting on the floor laughing. �I�m sorry Jeff, but it was the only way.� Amanda said. �It�s all right, I understand.� And he did, for the last hour Miles, Fallon and Amanda explained everything, about, Paris, and Rome, Sable and Cameron. And the entire goings on at La Mirage and in the end Fallon and Jeff both confessed their love for one another. �I really am sorry Jeff. I hope for once you believe me?� Miles said. Jeff extended his hand. �I�m the one who should be sorry.� They shook hands. �You were there for Fallon when I wasn�t Thank you.� Fallon turned to Amanda. �All that wasted time, we should have been friends.� �I�ll settle for sisters.� Fallon and Amanda hugged. �Well I guess it�s all one big happy family.� Miles said. �I think that�s stretching it.� Jeff said and they all laughed. Miles got up and pressed the run button and they descended to the lobby. �Well Amanda I think we should leave these two alone.� �I think you are right.� �Hey wait a minute. What about Harold and the cocaine?� Jeff asked. �It�s been taken care of. The four of us should meet in Fallon�s office in the morning.� �Okay good night.� Jeff said as Miles and Amanda stepped off of the elevator, Jeff pulled Fallon back inside and kissed her. His hand slipped over to the run stop button and pushed it. �What are you doing Jeff Colby?� �I didn�t do anything.� He said as he kissed her neck. �You know I think they would make a cute couple.� Jeff continued to kiss her. �Who?� �My sister and your cousin silly!� Jeff stopped and looked her in the eye. �Don�t play match maker.� And he slowly slid off her dress. �I knew there was something I liked about you Jeff Colby.� Laramie, Wyoming- Scarlet�s apartment Scarlet opened the door fully expecting to see Dex Dexter waiting at her door, and she got what she wanted. �Coming here was a waste of time, Dex. I want you to leave.� She said as she pushed the door back on him. �Would you wait?� He shoved his way in. �I don�t want to hear it.� She walked away. �Give me five minutes, if you don�t like what I say we can go our separate ways, and be only employer and employee again.� �What ever you say boss.� �I�m sorry I didn�t tell you first before I had you checked out, but don�t you think you�re overreacting a bit now? It just caught me off guard that I found out the woman I slept with works for me.� �I explained that.� �I know you did, but I wanted to know more.� Dex smiled. �You said it.� �I�m truly sorry if I hurt you. I didn�t mean to.� He apologized. �Will you forgive me?� He asked with a little smile, hoping to ease her mood. �Well, maybe.� She smiled back. �How sorry exactly are you �?� She asked, running her hands up his chest over his shoulders and down his arms to his hands. �Very sorry �� He assured her, holding her hands. Somehow he was fascinated from her. �That�s good, Mr. Dexter.� She replied before they kissed. After the kiss came to an end she led him to her bed, happy that her plan had worked. She had him hooked; now she only had to reel him in. La Mirage, Fallon's Office Jeff, Miles, Amanda and Fallon were talking when Fallon�s assistant buzzed in announcing the police were here to see her. �Well it looks like Harold works fast.� Miles said. The young looking office came in and told them of a call earlier in the morning about a shady boat delivering drugs to La Mirage. �I don�t know what you are talking about but feel free to look around.� Fallon said as she followed the officer. Jeff, Miles and Amanda did also. Ten minutes later they were on the outer properties of La Mirage, Harold had joined them and they were heading for storage house B. �I hope they speed things up. I have a meeting at three.� Fallon said. Harold smiled knowing that when the police found the cocaine the only place Fallon Colby was going was jail. They walked into the storage house and the police noticed the crates, they walked over and began opening them. �Officer, those are only supplies for our staff.� Fallon said. Harold smiled knowing what the police would find. After opening six crates one of the officers said. �It looks like she�s right.� �Yes there is no cocaine here.� �But that can�t be.� Harold said. �Did you say something Harold?� Miles asked. One of the officer�s phones rang. He answered it and then walked straight for Fallon and the others �It looks like there was cocaine here after all.� �What?� Fallon looked shocked. �Yes one of my men found it now. He turned to Harold. �It was in your office. I�m afraid I�m going to have to place you under arrest.� Harold backed away. �This is all a mistake.� But then he looked at Fallon and Miles and knew what was going on. �You two set me up.� Fallon smiled as they took Harold away. �One point for the good girls.� Billings, Montana, Dana Warring�s apartment "No, Dana, No!!!� Adam woke up in panic. �Oh god, it was just a dream, silly. Just a dream�� He slowly got up form the couch. He walked to her bedroom, feeling the weight of the world off his shoulders. No. I�m not crazy. And everybody will know that as soon Dana and I will come back to Denver� he said to himself and stopped as he looked at Dana�s bed. It was empty. �Dana?� He called and the sound of the door closing behind him made him jump, he turned around to see Dana. �You scared me.� Then he noticed the gun. �Dana, what�s going on?� �I�m sorry Adam.� She raised the gun. �What?!� he looked at her, puzzled. �I have no other choice.� She cocked the gun. �I must complete my mission.� 
She started to squeeze the trigger. �Adam Carrington must die.� "No, Dana... don't do that. No!!!" Adam yelled as we Fade Out... END EPISODE 22
