The Carrington Mansion- breakfast room

Amanda sat quietly eating her breakfast, waiting for Miles to join her. Last night she had stayed awake until four in the morning devising a plan to get Fallon and Jeff to forgive one another before it was too late. She also liked the thought of maybe having Fallon be pleased with her for once.

Amanda started to pour herself another glass of orange juice, when she heard some one coming in form the hall; she hide her disappointment when it turned out to be Fallon, and not Miles. "Good morning."

"Is it a good morning I hadn't noticed?" Fallon said as she poured herself some coffee.

"Are you all right Fallon?"

"Yes, I'm fine." Fallon said as she sat down. "Have you seen Miles this morning? I really need to talk with him."

"Well I was waiting for him myself."

Fallon looked up in shock. "What business could you possibly have with Miles?"

"Oh he's helping me with a problem I'm having." Amanda quickly lied.

"I see you couldn't have Jeff, so you are jumping ship to Miles."

Amanda frowned, she had hoped that Fallon would realize she was her friend and not her enemy. "Its nothing like that, and if you would open your eyes, you would see I'm not after your husband." Amanda got up and started to leave. "For once Fallon I just wish you would believe me, I'm not always the bad guy." She walked out into the hall and bumped into Miles.

"Hey where are you going so fast?"

"I need to go to my room." She was about to leave, but he stopped her.

"Hold on for a minute. Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine. Fallon needs to talk to you. When you are finished come to my room, I really want to speak to you."

She smiled and turned to walk away, Miles watched her walking up the stairs, and noticed what a killer body she had. He shook his head and walked in to talk to Fallon.

"There you are. So were you able to fix everything last night?"

Miles smiled. "Was there every any doubt? Right about now Harold should be setting up for the convention, and getting the surprise of his life."

Fallon jumped up and ran into Miles' arms "Oh Miles it's perfect, and when he calls the police and tells them about a shipment of cocaine, they will find food supplies instead."

"I think you should go to the office and be there when Harold finds out the computers have arrived on time."

"What about the cocaine?" Fallon inquired

"Well, when the police arrive to search the warehouse they might just get an anonymous tip that Harold is hiding something in his loft." Miles smiled as Fallon embraced him again

While Fallon and Miles were in each others arms, neither one noticed Jeff standing in the doorway. He watched his wife hug his cousin; he frowned and turned away. As he walked past a garbage can in the hall way, he threw away a bouquet of flowers.

Delta Rho

Kyle and Krystina finished eating lunch near the pool. It was sunny day and they used it to catch some sun. Kyle wanted to tell her about his visit at ColbyCo the other day but decided to wait until he would know more things about Lindsay. What else was that Krystina looked disturbed all day. He knew she missed home and he tried to convince her again to leave the ranch and go back to the mansion.

"There is no point to discuss this again, Kyle." She said when they sat down on the sun tanning. "I'm staying here"

"Why you are so stubborn? Your parents loves you, they want you to come back."

"They should have thought about that before." She was still very much bitterer.

"Have you at least visited your brother in the clinic?" He had heard the previous day that Adam was sick and thought Krystina would visit him in the clinic.

"No, not yet."

"Why not? Adam didn't do anything wrong. He loves you."

"I know."

"So? Go and see him. I'm sure he will be happy to see you." He tried to convince her.

"I don't now, Kyle."

"Don't know what? Come on, Krys. I'm sure your parents are very worried and disturbed right now. You can at least visit them and show them you still care."

"I do care."

"So? Let's go!"

"What, now?!"

"Yes, now. I'll take you there, come on." He convinced her.

At the same time, Sammy Jo and Jim entered the main house. After her check up, Sammy Jo and Steven discussed the situation and she decided to tell Jim. Steven accepted her decision without saying much. Sammy Jo felt the fact that he may not be the father hurt him more than he let on. She dropped by Jim's office and suggested lunch at the ranch. Jim kindly accepted having finished his shifts for the week. They were discussing Danny's return when Jim told Sammy Jo he saw her and Steven sleeping together.

"Jim relaxes! Nothing happened! Steven and I just fell asleep together. That's all!" Sammy Jo stated.

"Alright" Jim finally let down.

"Anyway, your behavior that night was uncalled for; I haven't heard an apology yet!" Sammy Jo said.

Jim pulled her close and kissed her passionately. "How about this?"

Sammy Jo laughed, "That'll work, for now"

Jim sat on the sofa completely relaxed.

"So did your check up turn out alright?" He asked mystify.

"Yeah, it's what I wanted to talk to you about." Sammy Jo wondered how to bring up the subject but Jim beat her to it.

"Are you alright? Is there anything I can do?" Jim sat up looking concerned, fully aware of what she was about to say. Now if he'd act carefully Sammy Jo would be his.

"Well, I'll just come out and say it" Sammy Jo took a deep breath. "I'm pregnant"

"We're going to have a baby, oh Sammy Jo that's wonderful!" Jim jumped up, pulling Sammy Jo into his arms.

"Jim there's a chance it might not be yours." Sammy Jo pulled out of his warm embrace.

"That doesn't matter. It wouldn't be the first time I raised someone else child." Jim stated.

"Raised? Jim hold on!"Sammy Jo was overwhelmed by his reaction.

"Hold on? I think we should get married" Jim bent down on his knees.

"Jim get up please. We are not ready for marriage!" Sammy Jo laughed.

"Why not?, Sammy Jo, you know how much I love"

"I know, and I love you too, I really do. I just don't think we are ready for this"

"Fine, but I will ask again some day you know" Jim got up.

"We'll see" Sammy Jo smiled.

"So was this your first check up? What did Dr. Kay say?" Jim asked as they sat down on the sofa.

"Everything is fine. We did an ultrasound; I'll show you the picture once Steven returns it" Sammy Jo explained.

"Steven, you meanbut today you can know the exact day of conception. I'm sure you'll know who the father is soon." Jim elaborated.

"Unless on the day of conception you slept with two different men" Sammy Jo explained.

Jim stared at her stunned. If he changed the date it will be his. The day she came back from NY. Oh my god she was completely naked under her dress. Damn it Steven! Couldn't let her go till they were in Denver?

Sammy Jo stared at him.

"Like I said before it doesn't matter. I love you! I'll support you with whatever you decide to do" Jim stated.

"Really? Oh Jim thanks you! I love you too." Sammy Jo snuggled next to him and kissed him.

"I don't know about you but I'm starving!" Jim smiled at her. He'd just make sure the DNA test will be in his favor.

"Jim? Any plans for the weekend?" She asked.

"I'm off hospital duty, just some R & R!" Jim said.

"Well why you don't spend it here. Since Danny and Ashley are at the mansion" Sammy Jo asked.

"I'd love too!" Jim got up pulling Sammy Jo with him. "Let's eat!"

The Carrington Mansion- Amanda's room

Amanda was seated in one of the oversized chairs by her window, when she heard the knock at her door she thought it was Miles, but Jeff ducked his head in.

"Jeff, are you all right?"

"I guess I'm okay, I wanted to apologies to you for the way I behaved last night. I shouldn't have attacked you the way I did." Jeff said as he came in.

"It's okay. Where did you go last night?"

"To the office, I just had to get away." He said,

Amanda noticed the suite case that Jeff was holding. "Jeff what is that?" She pointed to it. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to stay at the Carlton for a few days."

"What happened?"

"I came home today to tell Fallon I over reacted, and I found her in my dear cousins arms." The thought of it repulsed him. "I just wanted to tell you I was sorry, and to ask you to join me for dinner tomorrow night?"

Amanda smiled, that was perfect, part one of her plan was taken care of. "I would love to have dinner with you Jeff, but don't you think you should talk to Fallon before you leave?"

"I'm through talking to her, if it's Miles she wants then that is what she will get."

"I'm sure it wasn't what you think. Promise me you will think about this okay." She said hoping to reassure him.

"It won't do much good, but if you ask me to I will." Jeff said as he turned to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow night?"

"Yes Jeff." She said as he closed the door.

Amanda wondered what Jeff could have seen to make him so angry. Angry enough to leave, but she pushed the thoughts out of her mind. It was perfect she would meet up with Jeff tomorrow night, and when she talked to Miles she would tell him to take Fallon out, then the four of them would meet, and finally have it out once and for all.

"Oh Jeff, I hope it works out okay. I know you love my sister." She smiled, knowing that when Miles and she explained everything that Fallon and Jeff would see the light. "And after I get you two back together, then I'll work on Mother and Dex." She said to herself.

The Carlton Restaurant

Zachary Powers sat at his table, waiting for Alexis to join him for lunch. His secretary had received a message from Alexis's office to meet her at the Carlton. He looked at his watch; Alexis was late.

"Hello Zachary." He suddenly heard a voice next to him.

Zach looked up and saw Caress standing at his table. He hadn't noticed her entering the restaurant until now and he was less than thrilled to see her. "Cassandra" He exclaimed with faked friendliness. "I would ask you to sit down, but Alexis should be here any minute."

"Well, I'm afraid Alexis isn't coming." She said with a grin before taking the seat opposite Zach's.

His smile disappeared for a moment as he realized that it was a set up. "What are you playing at, Caress?" He asked.

"I think I have something that will interest you." She said pragmatically.

"What could that be?" He returned in a bored tone of voice.

Without a word Caress retrieved a document from her purse, unfolded it and handed it to Zach. He reached forth and took it from her. Expectantly she watched Zach passing a look over the paper. With a shrug of his shoulders he laid the paper down on the table. "What's the point?" He asked. "So, Alexis and Steven are doing business behind you back. That's not my problem, Caress." He grinned.

"Well, the interesting part is the third party involved in this deal." Caress explained.

"Why should I care with whom ColbyCo is doing business?" He replied, showing as little interest as possible.

"Well, that depends on how your relationship with my dear sister is doing. Still happy?"

"We couldn't be happier." He assured her without hesitation

"Really is that a fact?" She asked with amusement in her voice. "And of course you don't keep secrets from one another."

Zach leaned back in his chair, wondering what this remark was supposed to mean. "Caress, is there a purpose to this conversation?" He asked annoyed.

"I'm afraid I have a bit of bad news for you." She said, finally cutting to the chase.

Zach got curious now. "Come to the point, I don't have all day to waste."

Caress smiled to herself, enjoying his growing interest and looking forward to giving him the final stab. "Alexis loaned these $ 500 millions to Dex Dexter, helping him to save his company."

Immediately Zach remembered the conversation between Alexis and Amanda. Giving Dexter the money showed clearly that Alexis wanted her ex-husband back.

But Caress wasn't done with Zach Powers yet. All she felt for him was pure hate and finally she had it in her hands to get back at him for all the pain and humiliation he had caused her. She reached for her purse again and retrieved an envelope. "Well, obviously the money was not all Dexter got from Alexis." She said, passing the envelope to Zach.

With a bad feeling he opened the envelope and pulled out a collection of photo. He flipped through the first three; more was not necessary to get the picture.

"Alexis and Dexter are still an attractive couple, don't you think?" She said full of sarcasm.

Zach felt how rage began to rise inside him. "Just shut up, Caress." He hissed at her. Alexis had cheated on him. How could she do that to him, after all he had done for her. He was so angry, he almost couldn't think straight. But suddenly it occurred to him. "These photos must be a fake; Dexter is in Wyoming as far as I know. Alexis can't have met him." He stated.

But Caress was prepared; she had expected that contradiction to crop up. "The photos are real. You fool yourself if you believe otherwise. Alexis did betray you with Dexter and these photos are the proof." She said self-assured. "It takes not longer than half an hour to get from Laramie to Denver."

Zach had tried to reach Alexis at the previous day, but she hadn't been at the office all afternoon and had turned down his invitation for dinner. Now Zach believed to know what she had done in this time.

"Ever think that she's just using you?" Caress went on, knowing that she was turning a knife in his wound with every further word.

Zach felt humiliated. He took the envelope and rose. "I got to go." He said and left in a hurry.

"Bye, Zach." Caress said more to herself, after he had gone. She was proud of her accomplishment. She knew she had managed to cause trouble between Alexis and Zach Powers.

Laramie/ Wyoming, Dexter International, the CEO's office

Dan Walker, the acting CEO of Dexter International and Dex Dexter had already been arguing for quite a while when both men lost their temper. The atmosphere had been tense right from the beginning since Dex had received the news that the money of the two outstanding payments was lost, because both companies had went bankrupt, and Dex held Dan Walker responsible for it.

"We lost a lot of money in these deals. How could you invest in those shaky companies?" Dex slammed the report onto the desk. "They offer you 16 percent interest and you invest into them without getting suspicious?" He asked in disbelieve.

Walker's nervous look turned into a cold stare. "High profit - high risk." He stated firmly.

Dex was furiously angry. "Bull shit! Didn't you check their balances?" He shouted.

"Of course I did." He shouted back. "Both companies had faced financial difficulties during the last years, but they seemed to do well again."

"I can't tell you how displeased I am with the handling of these deals ... as well as with the management in general. This company used to be one of the most successful statewide. Today we stand on the brink of ruin"

Walker was quick. "Are you accusing me...?"

Dex cut him off. "Of mismanagement yes, damn it! What else would you call this?"

"I don't think I have to justify anything to you. Your sister owns this company and I'm in her full confidence." Walker stated, pushing his chair back and standing up.

"That's a minor formality. As soon as Maryann's and my attorneys have drawn up the papers I'm in control of 60 percent of stock, and as the majority stockholder I'll call an emergency meeting with the board to have me voted in as CEO again." Dex replied sternly. "I'm back and things will be different." He added before turning to leave.

Dex exited, slamming the door behind him. In the hallway he ran into a young female employee, knocking the files she was caring onto the ground. "Oh, I'm sorry." He apologized, helping her picking up the papers. As he handed it to her, he recognized the woman; even she looked different now with a business suit, her hair up, and a pair of glasses. Dex was slightly shocked to see her again.

"Scarlet?" He exclaimed in disbelieve.

Colorado Springs Medical Center- Dr. Rutherford's office

"I told you everything is moving along well." Dr. Rutherford spoke into the phone.

"Yes, Adam still refuses to believe he's crazy." He said to the woman on the other end of the line. "Yes, he was very upset to learn that Mrs. Warring didn't back up his story."

"I know it's imperative to make his family believe he's insane. Yes, I had one of the orderlies befriend him, and Adam bribed him this morning." He didn't notice the door open behind him. "Yes Adam escaped his cell about an hour ago."

Blake rushed in with Krystle behind him. "What do you mean he's escaped? Where is my son?"

Dr. Rutherford turned around almost dropping the phone; this was not good he thought, not well at all, Blake Carrington wasn't supposed to find out so soon.

Billings, Montana- Dana warring's loft

"Yes, Colleen, I'm leaving right now. You still have my keys right." Dana said into the phone.

"Yes I have them, but why are you going to Denver?"

"Because and old friend needs me, and I think it's important to heal old wounds." Dana said as she looked at a picture of Adam. "I should be back in a few days. Just pick up the mail and water my plants okay."

"All right, you take care of yourself Dana." Colleen said as she hung up the phone.

Dana took one last look around and as she was about to leave she felt a sharp pain in her head, it almost knocked her off her feet. Then the pain resonated again, and she saw the image of a gun, and a woman in red, and in an instant the pain was gone.

"What's wrong with me?" She said, not noticing that outside her window a beautiful black woman with a soft Jamaican accent was watching her. "I think I need to sit down before I go."

Outside Mrs. Litton watched. "Oh no, that is not good, you can not remember before its' time." She started to push up on the window when she spotted someone coming up the walk way, and she ducked behind some bushes, while this person pushed on the door bell.

Inside Dana got up. "That must be the cab." She grabbed her bags, and answered the door and got the shock of her life. "Oh my god, Adam"

Mrs. Litton smiled. Dr. Rutherford had succeeded, and now phase two could begin.

Lindsay's Suite Hotel

"Steven, come in. What a wonderful surprise." Lindsay opened the door.

"Hope I'm not interrupting anything. I was in the neighborhood, I though I'd drop in." Steven entered.

"Can I get you a drink?" Lindsay asked as Steven sat on the sofa.

"That would be great" Steven answered.

Lindsay handed him his drink. "You okay?"

"Sorry, it has been an emotional day." Steven explained.

"I'm sorry is there anything I can do?" Lindsay sat next to him on the sofa.

"Yeah, tell me how's your investigation going? I need some good news." Steven smiled wearily.

"Pretty well I've got some good info from Krystle and the police; I am using some resources to check info in Interpol and Wall Street. Pulling some favors from some old friends in Denver. Hopefully I'll have some material to show Krystle soon." Lindsay lied.

"That's great! I'd love to see some too! You certainly know your way around. You seem to adjust well to Denver." Steven was impressed. Despite his suspicions he really liked her.

"Well I did grow up, near here." Lindsay took Steven's glass.

"So is it nice to be back in Denver?" Steven asked her curious. He watched her near the bar. The way she moved, talked and held her self looked so familiar. Who did she remind him of?

"Oh yes it is, I haven't been here since we moved when I was a kid." Because of your affair with my mother, you jerk. Slowly with her back to Steven she slipped the Rohypnol into Steven's drink. She had an interesting night planned for them.

"So tell me more about yourself?" Steven asked. What was she up to? What were Jim and she up to? He had to find out but how?

"Oh, there's not much to tell. Compare to you I lead a boring life." Lindsay flirted.

"A reporter like you, traveling around the world, the people you met, sounds exciting, not boring." Steven smiled as she handed him his drink.

"You sound jealous, it has its moments but it's a lot of hard work." Lindsay continued with her lies.

"I am I wish I could do the same." Steven smiled sharing his fantasies.

"Well what stopping you?" Lindsay smiles if she could get Steven to leave Denver.

"Responsibilities" Steven said.

"But your son is off to college and well what's keeping you here" Lindsay taunted him.

"Well my family, job" and kids in a few months, Steven thought.

"Well your family isn't going anywhere and your job really" Lindsay elaborated.

"Sounds tempting but not now" Steven felt uneasy discussing this with her.

"Why not?" Lindsay asked.

Steven felt a bit dizzy and hot he untied hid tie and took his jacket off. A picture fell out of his jacket pocket. "Boy is it hot here or what?"

Lindsay smiled the drug was effecting him. Perfect. Lindsay picked up the picture.

"Steven what's this?" Lindsay asked.

"An ultra sound picture of my kids hopefully." He grabbed it from her and stared at it.

"Well congratulation, I guess." She kissed his cheek and sat closer to him.

"Thanks! I hope their mine." Steven put the picture in his jacket pocket.

"Why wouldn't they be?" Lindsay asked watching Steven's face become grimmer.

"They could be Jim's." Steven explained.

"You mean Sammy Jo is pregnant. No wonder Jim attacked you that night. He must be real jealous." Lindsay smirked.

"He has no reason to be jealous, Sammy Jo is his and I'm not." Steven remembered the kiss he and Jim shared. Was Sammy Jo right did Jim pick her for a reason other than love? Did this have something to do with Georgia?

"She really means a lot to you." Lindsay asked.

"Yes, but " Steven stopped his head spinning.

"Steven what's wrong?" Lindsay smiled the drug began its effect. Now she can seduce him.

"I'm just tired. This mess with Sammy Jo and Jim is getting to me, work is no better, and my aunt is driving me nuts. My mother is never around and everything falls on me." Steven was shocked by his behavior.

Lindsay smiled, nestling his hair and putting it on her lap,"Don't worry, I'll take care of you"

"I know you will, Claudia, you always have" Steven said and his mind went blank.

The Carrington Mansion

"Are you sure you don't want to come in?" Krystina asked Kyle when he stopped his car by the mansion.

"Positive. You need some time alone with your family" Kyle smiled at her.

"I love you Kyle. I hope you know that." She said and opened her door.

"Krystina," he called her before she went out and she looked at him.

"I love you too. More then anything" He said and kissed her softly on the lips. "Good luck." He added.

"Thanks." She smiled to him and went out of the car. Kyle stayed to watch her until she opened the main door and entered the house and then left. Krystina looked around her. It was seems like she wasn't there so long, and though that everything was the same. She stepped in into the living room and looked on the family photos that were hanged on the walls. There was a time they all were so happy. Why everything had to be changed? She asked herself.

"Krystina?" She heard a familiar voice calling her from behind. She turned back.

"Fallon, hey" She smiled and run to hug her. She felt so good to be in her sister's arms. It's been so long since they hugged like that, and Krystina missed the days they used to sit and talk about everything that bothered them.

"I'm so happy to see you" Fallon said. She missed her too.

"Me too I really missed this place. " The girl admitted.

"So? You came back for good?" Fallon hoped to hear a yes, but from the look in her sister's eyes she knew it's a no.

"I'm still not ready, Fallon." The girl explained.

"I know. I've been there and I know what you feel. But you have to remember how much daddy and Krystle love you. They'd do everything to bring you back here."

"Well that why I'm here. Kyle convinced me to talk with them. I heard what happened to Adam. I'm sure they both very worried."

"Yes they are. But they'll be very happy to see you. They should come back soon. They went to the clinic to visit him."

"Oh so they're not here now." The girl couldn't hide her disappointment.

"But they will come back soon. You are going to wait for them I hope."

"I will." The girl promised. "What about you and Jeff? Is everything all right?" Krystina asked her sister.

"Things could be better." Fallon said and Krystina saw the sad look in her eyes.

"Problems again?" Krystina asked.

"As usual," Fallon answered. She didn't want to tell Krystina all what was going on in her marriage. The girl had enough problems of her own now.

"Jeff loves you, Fallon, and you already been through so much. I'm sure everything will be fine." Krystina encouraged her.

"Of course it will." Fallon forced a smile on her face.

"Good. Is LB around? I didn't see him for ages!" Krystina called.

"Yes he is. I think he's in his room." Fallon said. "Go and see him, he'll love to see you."

"I will. You'll be here?" The girl asked.

"I'm leaving to the office in awhile. But I'll come back for dinner. Would you join us?"

"We'll see. First I need to talk with mom and dad." Krystina said and hoped her parents wouldn't let her down.

Danny's room at the mansion

"Hmmmm it is so great to have you here." Danny said to Ashley after he kissed her on his old bed. Ashley just smiled. She thought about LB and how much he is miserable right now. "I can't wait for Monday morning" he added.

"Monday" Ashley got confused.

"We are going together to Princeton then, remember?" He reminded her.

"Oh, that." She had to tell him that she was staying in Denver.

"Ash is everything all right?" He felt for the first time there was something she was not telling him.

"Yes, of course." She lied and regretted it immediately.

"Good. So we are going to the swim?" He asked.

"What, now?"

"Yes, unless you prefer to stay here in bad" he smiled and Ashley knew exactly what he means to.

"I think we'll go to the pool" she said and stood up. Danny opened the door.

"I'll wait for you downstairs while you change?" He offered.

"Yes, okay." She answered. Danny came closer to her and kissed her softly. He didn't saw LB who crossed by the hall at the same time and hide when he saw them kissing.

"Don't be long." Danny said and left the room, closing the door after him. Ashley moaned and took her shirt off. I have to tell him today. I don't have any choice she thought to herself and then took her brassiere off, just when the door opened and LB entered the room, without knocking.

"LB!" she jumped. "Are you crazy?!"

"Don't worry. Danny is downstairs" he said and closed slowly the door.

"I know he is downstairs" she said.

"Good. So we have nothing to worry about" he said and began kissing her and caresses her breast.

"LB, please!"

"Please what? It's making me crazy to see him kissing you all day I can't go on like that anymore Ashley. I want you all to myself, don't you get it?"

"He's leaving in two days you know."

"Yes, and he thinks you are leaving with him."

"I will talk with him later, okay? Now please go." She asked.

"Remember its today." He said and opened the door.

"I really love you, LB. you just need to be patient."

"I know." He said and went back to her. "I love you too, Ash, I love you very much. He said and kissed her. They both became full with passion and kissed, forgetting the door half opened.

"LB?" Krystina looked for LB in the same moment and when he didn't answered from his room she crossed by Danny's room. "LB!" she called shocked when she saw him and Ashley kissing passionately as we FADE OUT
