Delta Rho "Steven? Launch is ready!" Sammy Jo called and Steven entered to the kitchen. He checked everything is okay with his favorite horse and convinced by Sammy Jo to stay for launch. After all they were going to be parents again soon. "I talked with Doctor Kay earlier. She'll see me tomorrow morning for an ultrasound." Sammy Jo said when they sat for the table. "Already" Steven was surprised. When Sammy Jo was pregnant with Danny, everything was so different then. "Hmm, he wants to make sure everything is okay with the baby. After all, I'm not a child anymore." "I'm sure everything will be just fine. You are healthy, beautiful and young as ever." Steven flattered her. "Well I'm not sure about the last part." Sammy Jo said smiling. "Oh stop that, you didn't change a bit. Maybe few kilograms here and there, but you are still having the perfect body every woman would want to have." "Don't flatter me too much. You know what happens when woman get compliments." "No� not this woman" Steven said smiling and Sammy Jo smiled back. "I'm really happy with this pregnant, Sammy Jo. It could be great twist in our lives. "He added. "It certainly will be a twist. Wait 'till Jim will hear about that" she said. None of them heard the main door slammed, they both were quit surprised when Danny showed up in the kitchen with a bag. "Heard what?" He asked, all smiled. "Danny!" Sammy Jo was stunned to see him. "Hey, mom what's up?" He gave her a kiss and hug. "Well you tell me. What are you doing here?" She was still very much surprised. "Didn't dad tell you I'm coming?" He looked at Steven. "Well�" Steven was about to say something but Sammy Jo jumped to conclusion. "Steven? You told him?" She asked and this time it was Danny's turn to be the surprised. "Tell me what? What's going on here?" He took a seat and joined them. "No, Sammy Jo, I didn't say anything yet." Steven gave her a hard look and they both knew they didn't have much choice now. They would have to tell Danny the news. "So there is something to tell?" "Yes there is." Steven said. "We just wanted to wait for the right time. I totally forgot you are coming. I thought you would change your mind or something, "Steven added. "No. I took the first flight back. I had to see Ashley and make sure everything is okay." "So she is back in Denver." Sammy Jo said. "Yes she is, but everything is fine, we are moving in together exactly like we planned." He was happy. "But hey� you won't change the subject so fast. What is it that you have to tell me?" He asked. Steven and Sammy Jo looked at each other, wondering who will be the one to tell the boy the news. "First of all, you have to promise me you won't say anything to anybody, especially not to Ashley. Jim still doesn't know about that." Sammy Jo began and Danny came with his own conclusion. "Don't tell me you going to get back together again, right?!" A big smile showed up on his face. "No, Danny. It is nothing like that." Steven said and Danny couldn't hide his feelings. He hoped so much his parents would be together again someday. "But it is good news." Sammy Jo said. "Well? Don't keep me guessing, what it is?" He asked. "Your mother is pregnant." Steven said and Danny opened his mouth, shocked. "Pregnant?" "Yes, you're going to have a brother or sister." Sammy Jo said, looking at Steven. They both were tens. Danny looked at them and a big smile slowly showed up in his face. "Wow, I can't believe it! Mom, it's so great, dad!" He jumped and hugged Sammy Jo and then Steven. "I'm going to have a brother, wow!" He was thrilled. "Danny, slow down for a minute." Steven asked him. They both were relieved that he got the news very well, but they knew he'd start getting hopes they'll marry again. "What? I'm so happy, finally we'll be a bigger family!" "Danny, please" Sammy Jo asked. "Seat down for a moment." "What? I'm so happy it's so great, really! Just. I don't understand why you told me you won't go back together?" "Because we are not" Steven answered and Danny's smile disappeared in once. "Why not?" Danny couldn't hide his disappointment as he questioned them. "Honey� we already discussed this. I'm with Jim now, and your father have is own life." "But now everything is changed. You are having a child." "And we'll love this child very much and give him all the love in the world. But we'll have separate lives" Steven explained. "I don't get that. I really don't" he said when they heard the door slamming and seconds later Krystina showed up in the kitchen. "Danny!" "Hi, Krys." He forced a smile on his face. "What a surprise!" She hugged him. He looked at Steven and Sammy Jo who looked at him back, like reminding him not to say anything about the last news. "I didn't know you are coming. How's Princeton?" "Great, I really love it there. What about you? Mom told me you are living here now, "he said. "Yes, for a while until my parents will come to their senses." This time she was the one to force a smile on her face. "So� you are staying for the weekend?" "Yes� but not here" he surprised them all. "Not here?" Krystina didn't understand. "What do you mean, honey?" Sammy Jo was surprised herself. "Ashley and I decided to spend the weekend together, in the mansion." He said and they all looked at him, surprised. The Carrington Mansion, Few hours later "What" LB asked totally shocked when Ashley and Danny entered the mansion and told him they'll spend there the weekend, together. "Yep isn't it great? This way we'll spent some time together before we are leaving for Princeton. And you have lots of things to tell me, LB" Danny said, smiling. "Really" LB was surprised. He looked at Ashley and she knew how unhappy he is right now. "Sure, we didn't have the chance to a man talk for ages! I want you to tell me everything about your mystery girl, but later. Ashley and I have to unpack first. I'll go to bring the suitcase from the car, Ash. I'll be right back." He said and went out from the mansion. In the moment the door closed LB pulled Ashley aside. "You lost your mind, or what?!" He was angry. "It wasn't my idea, "she explained. "Well I hope so! Gosh, he still thinks you are going to Princeton together, Ashley!" "I know, I'll talk with him, I promise." "When, before or after he'll take you to bed?" He raised his voice. "Keep down your voice, LB." "Why should I, did you kept your voice when he slept with you this morning?" "You heard�" she was afraid from his respond for what happened at Jim's. "Of course I heard! All the building heard!" "Stop it, LB. it's not fair!" "You bet it's not fair. First you sleeping with me, tell me you love me and few minutes later I hears you having sex with him in the living room - " "LB - " "And now you are going to spend the whole weekend with him next to my room, together in the same bed!" He was still angry and couldn't hide his feelings anymore. "Oh, LB come on, I know it's not easy to you, but you have to think about me too. And about Danny; he loves me, he trust me and he trust you. I can't tell him it's over, because I'm sleeping with his cousin. We already agreed about that." "But we agreed you are not going with him to Princeton, and right now, he thinks you are!" He said and Ashley was about to answer him when Danny came back to the house, with suitcase. "That's it. It's all here." He put the suitcase down and came closer to Ashley. "We're going up?" He asked her. "Yes" "Good. It's going to be the best weekend we ever had!" He smiled and kissed Ashley. LB looked at them kissing, jealous and angry. La Mirage, Sea Port Docks Miles watched Harold pace back and forth across the docks. He was hiding in a cluster of trees across form the docks, his car parked out of the way. "Don't worry Harold your shipment is coming." Miles thought, when he heard a noise behind him, He turned around, but saw nothing. He continued to watch Harold, when the ship began to steam toward the dock. Miles could see that Harold was relieved, when he heard the sound again, it sounded like a sneeze, and maybe Fallon had come after all. He turned around and began to back track until he came to a halt. "Amanda what the hell is you doing here?" "I came to watch you, to make sure you and Fallon weren't up to anything." "What the hell are you talking about?" Miles said trying to keep his voice down. "I heard the two of you talking about your rendezvous. How could you, you said you would help me get Jeff and Fallon back together, was that a lie?" She began to raise her voice, and Miles instinctively rushed forward grabbing her and putting his hand over her mouth. Amanda's mind raced, what the hell was he doing? Miles pulled her forward to the grove of trees, and with one hand pointed to the men he was watching, and then slowly took her hand away. Amanda suddenly realized that he was spying on them. "Why are you watching them, and where is Fallon?" She whispered. "Fallon didn't show up, we were not meeting each other for an affair, some really weird stuff has been going on while you and Jeff were away, and that man over there has something to do with it." Miles pointed to Harold. "Now sit there and be quite, when this is all over I will explain." He said and Amanda nodded. A half hour passed, they watched the men off loading the crates, and watched Harold and his team load them into a truck, then they watched the truck pull away and head for the main wear house of La Mirage. They waited until Harold hand left and went inside. "Now will you please tell me what is going on, and why these crates are so important to you?" "Some one wants to take over La Mirage. Fallon accidentally stumbled onto something, and now were trying to find out who and why." Miles explained. "But you haven't told me what are in those crates?" "I don't think you want to know." Miles said, but Amanda wouldn't take no for an answer. So he showed her, and as they waited for the men Miles hired to take the cocaine away and destroy it they talked about Fallon, and Jeff. "I'm sorry I accused you of lying." Amanda said. "It's all right. I've been accused of worse over the years." Miles joked. "I know you may not believe this, but I came back to Denver to help Fallon, not take her away form Jeff." "I'm sorry. It's just I've been so confused lately. I think you can understand why." "You were falling for Jeff weren't you? Well I learned long ago that Jeff and Fallon are meant for each other, they may fight, split up, but they always end up back together. They have a love that is strong, and I've learned to live with it, maybe someday you will too." "I know my sister and I don't get along, but I don't think I could have taken Jeff away form her. I just guess I miss placed my feelings for Jeff." "But now each one of them thinks the other is cheating, maybe we should straighten them out." "I think we should." Amanda said, as the men Miles hired entered the room. "We can discuss this later agreed?" "Agreed"  ColbyCo, Alexis's office
Alexis had invited Marshall Lewiston, president of the small bank Bloomfield & Grant, to her office. "I know for a fact that Mr. Dexter tries to get hold of some money, and I heard that he came to you and asked for a loan." She stated. "Some money is an understatement." He replied. "That sort of lending business is very risky for us. Bloomfield & Grant is only a small bank. We have to be very careful with the money of our investors." "I understand, Mr. Lewiston. That's why you turned him down." He nodded. "Yes, unfortunately." "That's exactly the reason why I asked you for that meeting, Mr. Lewiston. I'm willing to give you the money Mr. Dexter asked for, the whole amount." The man arched his eyebrows. "You want to bail your ex-husband out?" Alexis ignored his question and continued. "We are talking about a six months loan and the Dexter estates serve as security." He nodded again. "That's correct. You're well informed, Mrs. Colby." She dismissed his remark with a smiled. "I'll give you the $ 500 million, on one condition." The banker showed interest. "And what's your condition?" "I don't want my name mentioned." She said with determination. "Agreed." He said. "Alright, I'll have my attorneys draw up the papers." She said. Both rose and shook hands on it. The Carrington Mansion - Fallon and Jeff's Bedrom Jeff entered his room after a long and tiring day, he watched his wife sleeping sweetly on their bed. "When you are asleep you look so innocent. How can I stay mad at you for long?" Jeff slowly took off his cloths, and snuck into bed, gently kissing Fallon, when she began to wake up from her sleep she kissed him back and the passion the two felt was renewed, but when she realized what was going on she pulled away and sat straight up. "Oh my god what time is it?" "Time what does that matter." Jeff wondered. "Oh I didn't mean to sleep for so long; Miles must have left without me." "Miles" Jeff said as he got out of bed and began to put his cloths on. "So you can't get that simpleton out of your head." "Jeff it's not what you think." "Not what I think, when we were kissing just now. I thought things had changed, that maybe I was wrong, but you stop and then say you are late to meet Miles, what am I supposed to think." "Oh it's all right for you to spend last week with my sister, and I'm supposed to think it was all innocent, but I go to meet Miles, and you accuse me of having an affair Jeff that's the pot calling the kettle black." "I've had enough of this, and of you." He said as he grabbed the rest of his cloths, and his keys. "Where the hell are you going?" Fallon demanded. "Out" Jeff said as he slammed the door. Fallon threw the slipper that she was holding at the closed door, crying. "Damn you, Jeff Colby." Outside in the hall Jeff finished getting dressed, he had to get out of there, and away form Fallon, as he descended the stairs, Amanda and Miles were just getting home, and Jeff saw them and his anger increased. "So you go from one sister to the other Miles." Jeff said as he came towards them. "What are you talking about?" Miles asked. "Jeff what's the matter?" Amanda asked Jeff turned to her. "I thought you had more class than that, but maybe you are just like your sister." He started to push past them when Miles grabbed him. "Jeff you are way out of line." Miles said, and was about to explain things when Jeff punched him in that face knocking him off his feet. "Stay the hell out of my way." And with that he left, leaving Amanda to help Miles. "Miles are you all right?" Miles smiled. "That wasn't the first time Jeff's hit me, but I hope it's the last." "Maybe I should follow him, I don't think he should be alone when he's this angry." she said. "I don't think that's a good idea, if you go and try to smooth things over with him, he might think you are trying to cover things up." "But I don't think we should leave things like this, Fallon and Jeff seemed so angry." Amanda insisted. Miles smiled at her "You are right we have to do something to get them back together." "We have to make them believe in their love, and their marriage." "Yes, Jeff has to learn once and for all there is nothing between me and his wife anymore." "Well, I think you had better get some sleep." "Yes we can talk more in the morning, say breakfast?" "Yes." Amanda agreed noticing for the first time how nice Miles had turned out to be. "You had better take care of that as well." She said pointing to his cheek, then she gently kissed his other cheek, and walked off to her room, and in that moment, Miles smiled realizing how beautiful Fallon's little sister was. ColbyCo, Caress's office- the next morning Caress Morel entered her office after having met with Terry Hopsen, Alexis's secretary in a small cafe near the ColbyCo building. She walked over to her desk, pushed back the chair and looked up a number in her address book. She picked up the phone and quickly dialed the number. Impatiently she waited until somebody answered the call. "Ronald, darling. You need to do me a favor." She said sweetly into the phone. "I need to know whom Bloomfield & Grant just granted a $ 500 million loan. I need that information as soon as possible." She put the phone down on the receiver, wondering what Alexis was up to. Terry Hopsen had given her a copy of the transaction paper, but he hadn't been able to explain what that $ 500 million deal with Bloomfield & Grant was about. But it was obvious that Alexis and Steven didn't want her to know about it; and that was reason enough for Caress to get suspicious The Memorial Hospital Steven hurried; he was late. He promised himself that this time around he'd be there for Sammy Jo and the baby. He knew that in the last couple of years, he buried himself at work to avoid his problems and by doing so wasn't around when Sammy Jo and Danny needed him. He slowly opened the office door. "Sammy Jo, I don't know what to tell you but this is the date the baby was conceived." Dr. Kay explained. "What date?" Steven asked taking a sit in the chair next to Sammy Jo. "Steven so kind of you to join us" Dr. Kay smiled as Steven moved uncomfortably in his chair. "It's the day we came back from NY." Sammy Jo elaborated. "I think I remember the flight back�" Steven chuckled. "I remember Jim surprising me when I arrived at Delta Rho and one thing led to another." Sammy Jo added wearily. "Oh!" Steven's face turned white; he was dumbfounded. "Sammy Jo, why don't you go change Steven and I will meet you there." Dr. Kay said cutting the tense silence. "Okay" Sammy Jo headed out. "Steven please don't worry about it, once the baby is born, we'll do a DNA test and all will be revealed. From what Sammy Jo told me there is a much likelier chance that the baby is yours!" Dr. Kay got up. Steven asked desperately. "Let's just say Sammy Jo and you were a lot less safe than her and Jim." Dr. Kay explained as they walked out of the office, heading to the examining room. Steven smiled; it may be his after all. "Dr. Kay about Sammy Jo; are there any health risks for her? I�" Steven asked completely changing the subject. Ever since Sammy Jo told him he worried, she might be taking on too much. "Sammy Jo is in great shape physically and mentally. She truly wants this baby. She might have to take it a little easier but that's it. Don't worry too much, just pamper her, spoil her and tell her how beautiful and sexy she is." Dr. Kay answered. Steven laughed as they walked into the examining room Sammy Jo was already is lying down. "Ready?" Dr. Kay asked. "Yes!" Sammy Jo and Steven said in unison. Steve stood next to her and squeezed her hand. They both stared at the monitor. "There's your baby. Oh my god, look there are two hearts! You're having twins." Dr. Kay pointed. "Oh Steven" Sammy Jo gasped. "Why don't I leave you two alone?" Dr Kay left. "Wow!" Steven was completely overwhelmed. "Steven about before�" Sammy Jo started. "It's not important. I promised to be there for you no matter what. It's a promise I intend to keep." Steven silenced her, his eyes never leaving the monitor.
