Laramie, Wyoming Dexter International, head office Sable? Dex was confused as he asked the question. What are you doing here? He asked, looking at his former finance, who sat at the CEOs desk. And what is he doing here? Dex inquired with disgust in his voice, pointing his head at Zach Powers, who stood behind her chair, his hands resting on her shoulders. Well Dex, its simple. This is my company now. She explained with a grin. Of course I couldnt have done this without some help. Zachary and I are partners ... in every respect. We got married. She said, holding up her hand with a huge diamond ring. What? Dex shouted in shock. Thats impossible. How could you do that to me? Sable laughed angrily, standing up from the desk and approaching him. I loved you and wanted nothing else in this world but to spend the rest of my life with you. But you betrayed our love in the worst way possible. She stated sternly. I know I hurt you. Im sorry for whats happened but I really love you. He apologized, holding her by the arms. Sable tried to yank free of his grip. Its too late for that, because I dont care anymore about how you feel, what you think or what you want. I hope your affair with that bitch was worth it, because you lost everything me, your company and Cameron. What are you talking? Hes my son. Dex protested. Dont worry. Zachary will be a good father to him. Sable assured him. Out of the corner of his eye Dex could see Zach Powers triumphant smirk. Dex lost it. He furiously shook her. No never! Do you hear me?, Never!!! He yelled and awoke suddenly. He needed a few seconds to remember where he was and what he had been doing before falling asleep. He was home in Wyoming. He sat in the head office of the family owned company and had spent the last 24 hours going over the business books and examining the profit and loss statements of the last year. He realized with relief that he only had been dreaming. Dex sat back up and rubbed his tired eyes. The jet lag and the lack of sleep during the last days had gotten to him. He tried to figure out what had been dream and what had been real. He realized that he hadnt talked to Sable and she hadnt deceived him. But what was with Scarlet; had he really tried to forget about Sable in the arms of another woman? Maybe she was only a product of his fantasy; her red hair reminded him on Sable and her green eyes reminded him on Alexis. He knew he hadnt spent the last night with her in this hotel room. But what was with the meeting at the airport and the flight to Laramie? Dex felt bad realizing that he had really slept with that unknown woman, because he had only used her for his own desire. He leaned forward and looked at the paperwork that cluttered his desk. The last months had faced him with so much disappointment and pain. Dex had reasoned that the best way to forget about his private problems would be to focus on business. But the figures didnt brighten his mood. Dexter International was in serious financial difficulties. The stock was down and the company had suffered the loss of millions. They were in a financial hole and needed to get out of fast or he was going to lose everything. He let out a sigh of frustration as he looked at the business papers before him. He searched for answers; how could things so get out of hand? He carefully examined every sheet of paper when the door to the office suddenly opened and a secretary entered with a stack of letters. Oh, Im sorry, sir. I didnt know you were in. She apologized. Thats okay. Dex replied. With a polite smile she placed the correspondence on the desk next to him, noticing Dexs state. His tie was loose and his sleeves were rolled up. He looked tired and he needed a shave. Can I get you a coffee? She offered, assuming that he had spent all night at the office. Thanks that would be great. He said, nodding his head. Only minutes later she returned with a cup of coffee and handed it to him. Did you hear anything from Mr. Walker? Dex asked, referring to Dan Walker, the acting chief executive of the company. Hes still in Austin, but I informed him about your being here. She replied. Do you know when he might return? Dex asked a bit impatiently. He said hell be back this afternoon. Alexiss penthouse, her bedroom
Still in her nightgown Alexis sat at her dressing table, finishing her makeup. With a tap on the door Amanda entered her bedroom. Hello mother. Alexis turned around. Amanda, she exclaimed, approaching her daughter. How are you, darling? I guess Im fine. How are you? Amanda returned, embracing her mother. Im fine. She said with a forced smile, just to prove to Amanda that she was indeed fine. In reality Alexis was worried. The secret Zach Powers and she were hiding weighed heavily on her soul and she was concerned about the state of Dexter International. How was Acapulco? Amanda asked, noticing that her mother looked beautiful tanned and well rested. Alexis shrugged her shoulders. Nice and sunny I needed to get away for a while, leaving the trouble with Caress and ColbyCo behind me. She replied, turning to her house maid, who emerged with a suit from the dressing room. Thanks that would be all, Maria? Alexis dismissed her. The young woman placed the suit on the bed and disappeared quickly. Ive heard you joined Zach Powers on his yacht. Youre spending an awful lot of time with him lately, I mean with a man you dont love, mother. Amanda remarked disapprovingly. Alexis rolled her eyes. Darling, thats none of your business. How often do I have to tell you? She said in a gentle but forceful tone. Amanda sat down on the bed. She wanted for so long for her mother to be happy again, something she hadnt been with any other man after Dex. Amanda wanted desperately to get them back together. Dex could need a friend right now. Hes really down. Yes, I know. But Im sure hell come out of this. Alexis replied, trying to sound confidently. If I were you I would catch the next plane to Wyoming and be there for him. Amanda suggested. Alexis sighed loudly and shook her head. Amanda, you know that he would never accept my help. Maybe you should talk to your father. What has dad to do with it? Amanda was confused. Mother, about what are you talking? About the financial ruin of Dexter International of course, what did you think I was talking about? Alexis explained. Amanda stared at Alexis. He might lose his company? She asked shocked. Possible. Alexis replied. Amanda thought for a moment. Maybe that was the one possibility she had been looking for. With Dex being in financial difficulties her mother had the opportunity to prove her love to him by bailing him out. You cant let that happen, mother! She said emphatic. I would help him, if he would ask me for it, but he didnt. We decided to stay out of one anothers life. I cant just interfere into his business matters. Sure you can. Show him that he still means something to you. Amanda encouraged her. And then maybe ... Amanda flashed Alexis a meaningful smile. Darling, I think youre forgetting there a small detail; he chose Sable. Amanda rolled her eyes. Alexiss resistance let her no choice but to lie to her about Sable. Mother, forget Sable; Dexs relationship with her is a thing of the past. How do you know? Jeff and I flew with Dex to Europe and helped him finding Sable. She didnt want to see him. Its over between them. Dex is finished with her. Amanda lied about what she and Jeff had discovered in Paris. Alexis sat down on the bed, next to Amanda. That means she awoke? Yes, but thats irrelevant. Her daughter assured her. So, please stop hanging around with Zach Powers. She begged her. I cant. She replied shortly, standing up and turning to the jewelry drawers. Amanda followed her. You dont love him and you never will, because youre still in love with Dex. She said pragmatically. Tell me that Im wrong; tell me that you dont want Dex back and I leave you alone. I love Dex and I want him back, but just because we want something, dont mean we can have it. Alexis said. Amanda looked into her mothers eyes. She had finally said the words that Amanda wanted to hear from her all the time. You belong together and nobody could ever change that. Get him! Neither Alexis nor Amanda had noticed Zach Powers standing on the other side of the slightly ajar bedroom door, listening for quite a while already. Colbyco - Caress's office
I dont care! I want to see her, now! Caress heard yelling outside of her office. Few seconds later the door opened and Kyle stormed in, escorted by her secretary. Im sorry Mrs. Morel, I tried, but Its all right, you can leave us alone. Caress told her secretary. The woman left the office, leaving Kyle and Caress alone. Well, that is a surprise. Caress stood up staring at Kyle, wondering what the reason for his visit was. I want answers from you, Caress. You have lots of explanations to do. He came closer to her. To who to you She asked cynically, all smiled. I am very serious here, Caress He didnt smile. After the talk he had with Krystina, and later with Sammy Jo and Krystle, he felt he had to help the Carringtons somehow and proof them his loyalty. He knew it wouldnt be easy. He did some awful things in his past, including some serious crimes, but he truly regretted all that and wanted to change. More then anything, he wanted Krystinas family to accept him and forgive him. He was determined to do everything he could to be one of the good guys, and the first person that could help him to do that was Caress. You have a lot of nerves, Kyle. To come here and demand things from me after what you did? She wasnt smiling anymore. What I did was wrong, and I want to make up for it. He said and Caress laughed. Make up whom, Blakes daughter? You are dreaming if you think theyll accept you, Kyle. You are not in their league. No, Caress. Here you are wrong. I am nothing like you. Dont be silly, you have no chance. The princess maybe loves you now, but it wont last forever you know. And now, if you excuse me, I have better things to do. Business you know. She said and sat down back in her chair, reading some documents. Im not finish with you, Caress. He didnt give up. I want you to tell me everything you know, everything you have about this woman. What woman? She looked up at him. Dont play dumb with me, Caress. I know very well that Woos wife is behind all this. Ive been there, remember? So you must know better then me. You are the one who worked with Woo in the last few years, not me. She was right this time. Kyle knew Woo better than Caress and even met Lindsay once or twice, but he never talked with her too much. Woo always trusted him, but when it came to his private life, Lindsay was out of territory. But you are the one whos working with this woman now and still connected to the consortium. You surprise me, boy. I thought you are smarter than this. There is no consortium anymore. The police closed the case. They have nothing. Not against me, not against anybody. And they wont have anything, right? It sounded to him like a threat. Im not scared of you or of Mrs. Woo, Caress. You are playing with fire, Kyle. You got warned once, but you are still insisting to stick your nose where it not belongs. I want to know where Lindsay is and what she is planning to do. He was stubborn, but not enough. Caress wasnt so stupid. She wouldnt give him anything he could use against her or Lindsay. Thats it, Kyle. You wasted enough of my time. Now get out before Im calling the security to have you thrown out. She stood up. I wont stop, Caress. You can tell that to your partner. I wont stop until Ill find out what you two up to. You got that? Out This time she yelled at him. Kyle went out of her office. He certainly succeeded to upset her. Damn you, Kyle Roberts. Damn you! She said nervously. Everything seems to be going like she planned. The police closed the case against the consortium; all the evidences against her were destroyed and she took over ColbyCo. But now Kyles visit changed it all. He knew too much, and Caress was afraid it would ruin her plans. No I wont let that scare me. He wont do anything. She told herself and picked up the telephone. Its me I need to see you. Yes, now! Lindsay's suite hotel I hope its good, Caress. Im in the middle of something here. Lindsay said after closing her door suite. Caress gave her a strange look, wondering what she was possibly doing with the sexy tunic she was wearing. Believe me, it is. Caresss face was serious. Whats now? Lindsay asked her, treating her like she was a little girl, which you run to her every time something was wrong. Kyle Roberts. What about him? He showed up in my office earlier and wanted to know were youre staying and what were planning together. I hope you said nothing. Lindsay didnt trust Caress; not a bit. How could I? I dont know anything, remember? You refused to tell me what you are planning. And so far it turned out to be good thing. I just hope you didnt tell him where Im staying. Of course not Caress was insulted. She knew Lindsay didnt trust her, but she hoped at least her attitude would be changed. Good. Now if you dont mind, Im terribly busy. Lindsay pointed to the door, waiting for Caress to leave. I still want to know what your plans are, Lindsay. If we are partners it is my right to know. Besides, dont forget Im the CEO of ColbyCo now. And I know you have still interest in the company. Caress said. She didnt know exactly what Lindsay planned, but she knew Lindsay didnt have much sympathy for Alexis. Dont worry about that. I know what Im doing. I hope you know too. Of course I do. Actually my plans for Zach Powers and my sister are working exactly like I wanted it to be. They both will pay for all they did to me very soon. Caress smiled. So they are still together? Lindsay wondered. Not for a while. Im still looking for something that will help me break them up for good. Lindsay looked at her with a big smile. I might have the perfect answer for you. She said and went aside for the closet. She opened the closet door, pulled out an envelope and gave it to Caress. Whats that? Caress was about to open the envelope. You can open it later. If youll use it smartly it will do the work Lindsay was still smiling. And if you dont mind now, Im very busy. She pointed forward the suite door. I still want answers from you, Lindsay; lots of. Caress said her last word and left the suite. Lindsay closed the door after her and entered inside the suite. Jim went out from the other room, half naked. I didnt know you and Caress are so close. He said, coming closer to her. Oh, were not. She knows nothing. You heard her. I heard both of you. I happened to know this Kyle feller, Lindsay. I dont want to see him getting hurt. Dont worry, dear. You know me, I cant hurt a fly. I certainly hope so. He looked at her, wondering if this was the same woman he was in love with once. Now come here and stop worry, its all under control. She pulled his arm and kissed him softly. Under control, what the hell is that supposed to mean? He asked. Of course, we have an agreement, right? Im helping you dealing with Steven and Sammy Jo. Thats what worries me. You still didnt tell me what youre expecting of me. Right now there is only one thing Im expecting from you. She said, all smiled, took her tunic off and lead him to bed Laramie, Wyoming - Dexter International, head office Dex Dexter sat tensely behind his desk. Sitting across from him were Bryan Sampson, the company chief financial consultant and an old friend who worked already for Dexs father and Neil Twain, the chief accountant. Dex had ordered the latest financial and drilling reports, purchase contracts, bank statements, as well as reports on all of Dexter Internationals activities to make himself familiar with the current operations of the company. Sampson and Twain exchanged concerned glances as Dex reviewed the file that lay before him. He shook his head and looked up at them. Bryan, Im against selling the Brentwood land. He stated sternly. Our situation is critical, Dex. We dont have many options at the moment to maintain solvency. The consultant objected. Selling a field that has the potential to produce thousands of barrels a day cant be the solution. Dex said with determination. But we dont have the means to develop and exploit it. Sampson interjected. We need cash to keep our producing fields running. We should continue to liquidate some of our less productive or still undeveloped fields as well as all dispensable holdings to lighten up our load. Dex disapprovingly looked at him. I disagree. Quite frankly I think Walker was much too quick with selling in many cases. We didnt make enough profit. But with the operation of the Brentwood field well have the ready cash we need for the funding of many our other projects. Dex paused for a moment while looking for a paper on his desk. He found the bank statement he had been looking for and handed it to the accountant. Talking of our cash flow, two payments didnt come in, Neil. Whats the matter with the payment from Southern Technology? And what is with the 35 million $ from Nexon Oil? He asked worriedly. They should have come in already. Twain replied quickly. Well, but the money wasnt transferred. Dex interjected. We need it ... urgently! The accountant got up. Okay, Ill take care of these payments immediately. He promised. Alright, Dex said. They shook hands and Twain exited. Tired and frustrated Dex settled back in his chair. I know I neglected the company during the last months since my return to Denver. But why didnt I know about our problems? Dex leaned forward. Bryan, why did nobody inform me? He asked upset. You were not here and your sister gave full authority to Dan Walker. Sampson explained. Dan Walker is not the owner. Dex stated. But Maryann is. I had clear instructions not to bother you with business matters while you were recovering from being held captured for years. Besides, I wasnt authorized to leave out Walker and your sister by turning to you. The old man said. Damn it, Bryan! It was your responsibility and duty to do exactly that and inform me about this financial disaster. Dex shouted, glaring at him. All Maryann cares about are horses and the ranch. She doesnt know anything about the oil business. He declared. Sam Dexter, Dexs father, had run Dexs companies, Dexter Co. & Construction and Lex-Dex, after Dexs sudden disappearing and eventually both companies merged with his own company Dexter International. After his death 18 months ago Dexs sister Maryann had inherited everything the family ranch, the ownership of Dexter International, and the control over the privately held 75 percent of stock. Even she had neither interest nor experience in the oil business she hadnt found it in her heart to sell the company, because she still had hoped her brother would return one day. Suddenly the office door burst open and Maryann entered. Im not interrupting anything, am I? She asked good-humored. Not at all, we were just talking about you, Maryann. Bryan Sampson replied, standing up. I think thats my cue to go if you two will excuse me. Sure. Dex replied, being grateful for the chance to speak alone with his sister. He stood up too and the two men shook hands. Please think the Brentwood deal over; it would get us some breathing space. Sampson said before turning to leave. Mary, he nodded on his way out. See you, Bryan. She returned. The door closed and the siblings approached each other. Hello, brother. She exclaimed, embracing him with all her strength. Only months ago she had thought shed never see him again. Since then they had only met twice when Maryann had visited him in Denver. Good to see you. He said, returning the embrace. Why didnt you tell me you were coming? I would have sent somebody else to this horse auction. She asked, breaking off the embrace. Thats okay. It was a very spontaneous idea. He replied, smiling at her. And, how does it feel sitting here in dads old office? Are you sure that youre already ready to take the business over? She asked a touch of concern in her voice. His smile quickly disappeared and he sighed. Whats the matter, Dex? She asked. Actually I was going to ask you the same. Whats going on here? And why didnt you tell me about the companys problems? Well, I know we lost some deals and were not doing too well at the moment. She replied innocently. But nothing to seriously worry about, I can promise you that. Mary, you dont seem to understand, our financial situation is devastating. Were insolvent if two missing payments dont come in soon. What? Mary looked worried. She had no idea the situation had become so critical. She collapsed into a chair in front of the desk. I knew we have problems, but ... She was at a loss of words. But how about putting some more stock out on the market? Dex shook his head. Thats not a good idea. It will only get us into additional trouble, because the stock price would hit rock bottom and it would make Dexter International even more vulnerable to takeovers. No, we have to find another way. Ill talk to our bank and asked for a loan. Did you bring Sable and Cameron with you? Maryann asked after a moment of silence, wanting to change the subject. No. Dex replied shortly. Is something wrong between Sable and you? She asked carefully, noticing Dex sad facial expression. Dex hung his head. Everything is wrong. I dont even know where she is. Dex sighed, but continued. Shes hiding from me. Why? What happened? She saw photos... of me... of me and Alexis. Dex confessed hesitantly, walking over to the window and looking out at nothing in particular, being suddenly miles away. And She asked, wanting him to continue. But he didnt. Dex She pressed, growing impatient with his silence. He turned slowly around and his look gave him away. Dont tell me you slept with Alexis and at the same time you proposed to Sable? Only once Dex looked distraught. You idiot will you never learn She said in a soft but reproachful tone. I cant explain it, but I would lie if I say that I dont have feelings for Alexis anymore. Memories of that night came back to him, but he pushed them out of his mind. They had agreed that it wouldnt happen again and there shouldnt be anything to it. What about you son, if you give up on Sable you might lose him too. I dont know. Thats why I came home; to think things over and decide what Im going to do. He walked back around his desk and sat down in his chair. But first I have to take care of our liquidity problems. ColbyCo, Alexis's office Alexis Colby sat at her desk and listened intently to the information about the financial difficulties of Dexter International. It looked critical. Their cash flow had run out and the company was nearly insolvent. They couldnt meet their obligations anymore and most of their operations stood before a shut down. Investors had pulled their financial backing of projects, and their attempts to interest new investors had been unsuccessful so far. During the last months the company had sold a number of holdings to maintain solvency. Dexter International is trying to get a loan, but all major banks turned their requests down. The female informant went on with her description. Right now Mr. Dexter himself negotiates with Bloomfield & Grant about a $ 500 million loan. Alexis was worried for Dex, but didnt show it openly. Are you planning to take over the company? The woman asked bluntly. You sell information. I dont. Alexis replied, before signing the check. Ill let you know when I need your service again. Until then, have a nice day. She dismissed her, handing her the check. The informant took the check and turned to make her exit as the door opened and Steven Carrington, executive vice-president of ColbyCo, entered. Oh, Im sorry. I didnt know that you were in a meeting. He apologized, remaining in the doorway. Thats alright, were done. Alexis replied quickly. Steven nodded at the woman as she passed him and closed the door behind her. Alexis stood up from the desk and approached him. Good that youre here, Steven, I need your help. She stated, taking his hands. Steven leaned forward and kissed her cheek. Sure, mother. What can I do for you? He asked. I need you to sign a transaction. She replied, walking back to the desk. She picked up a paper and handed it to Steven, watching him impatiently as he glanced over the document. Steven looked up at her. Mother, thats a lot of money. What do you need $ 500 million for? Alexis was not willing to reveal anything to him. Please darling, dont question me. Steven was worried. I really would feel better, if you would tell me the purpose for that transaction. Alexis stood firm. Please trust me. Well get the whole amount back plus interest. Steven hesitated, but finally put his signature on the contract. Thanks darling She said, receiving the papers from him. I dont want Caress to know about it. Thats between you and me, alright? She added quickly. He nodded his head. Okay. Steven didnt like his mother keeping secrets from him, but he had already something else on his mind. There is something I must tell you, mother. Steven went on in a serious voice. The expression on her sons face told Alexis that something was wrong. Steven, whats the matter? She asked. Its about Adam. He has some problems. He started hesitantly. Alexis looked worriedly. He isnt drinking or taking drugs again, is he? She asked. No, hes not. He assured her. Thanks God. Alexis felt relieved. Adam has problems to distinguish between reality and imagination. He shows sings of schizophrenia. What? Hes imagining things? She asked in disbelief. Yes, and he needs professional help. Thats why father has him checked into the Colorado Springs Medical Center where Adam will get ... Steven couldnt finish the sentence. One moment, Blake did what?! She asked angrily. He did what seemed the best under these circumstances. Steven justified Blakes action. The best for whom She questioned Certainly not for Adam Alexis objected. Please, mother ... Steven tried to calm her down. Adam is not crazy. She stated, before walking back around her desk and pressing the button of the intercom. Terry, cancel all my appointments. I wont be in for the rest of the day. She released the button and looked at her son. Thats so typical for your father; he didnt even consider it necessary to tell me. Alexis said angrily. Steven said nothing, because he didnt liked to argue with her, and saying anything in Blakes defense would only upset her further. Colorado Springs Medical Center - Family visitation Room Alexis and Amanda were waiting patiently for the orderlies to bring Adam to see them. Alexis was quite upset that Blake hadnt told her the troubles that Adam was facing, but Amanda had calmed her down. I hope they are treating him all right. Alexis spoke out of no were, breaking the silence. Mother this is one of the best facilities in the nation, Im sure Adam is getting the best possible care. Amanda reassured. The large double glass doors facing opposite them opened, and Adam entered, smiling, but looking like he hadnt been sleeping well, both Alexis and Amanda noticed the dark circles under his eyes. The orderlies that had brought him in leaned up against the wall watching them. Hello Mother, Amanda. Adam said with a slight smile. Amanda jumped up and hugged her brother, and Alexis kissed his cheeks. Are you all right, Darling? Im so sorry I didnt come sooner, but your father Alexis began, but was cut off by Amanda. Couldnt reach either of us Amanda added, and gave her mother a sour look. Its okay, Adam said as he walked over to a window looking out. Im sure he told you I was crazy. He did nothing of the sort Adam, Daddy is very worried about you, just like we all are. Amanda reassured. Alexis added. We only want whats best for you, and right now you need help. Adam turned around glaring at them both. I dont need help, Im not sick, Im not crazy. Mrs. Litton is out there, I know she kidnapped Dana, and I know I witnessed everything. Adam could you please come over here and please sit down. Amanda motioned. The doctors suggested to Dad that maybe it would help in your therapy if Dana came to visit you. What? They called her, and she agreed to come to Denver. Adam perked up, Thats wonderful, then she can confirm everything, and maybe she can help me put Mrs. Litton behind bars. Adam I dont think you understand, Krystle talked to Dana herself, she said she never came to Denver, that she was all right, and nothing happened to her. Amanda thats impossible, I know it happened. Adam began to raise his voice which startled Amanda and Alexis. Im not crazy, stop looking at me that way. He ran his fingers through his hair. I dont understand, she was there, why didnt she tell anyone. Adam its going to be all right. Alexis said, but Adam jumped up. She just doesnt remember, thats all, Mrs. Litton must have done something to her. Adam began to pace the floor, and the orderlies stiffened, watching him like a hawk. I have to get to her, talk to her alone, and make her understand that shes in danger. He walked to Amanda. Please get me out of her so I can protect her. The orderlies rushed to Adam, grabbing his arms, and began to drag him out of the room. Im afraid you are not going any where. Mother would you please help me. Im not crazy. Goddamn it Im not crazy Adam screamed while they took him back to his room. Amanda turned to her mother embracing her, crying. Oh Mother. I didnt want to believe Blake, but its true, Adam is very sick. They both cried wondering if Adam would ever get better. La Mirage - Fallon Colbys' office Fallon sat behind her desk, this was the third meeting she had had with Harold, and she was getting sick and tired of his pampas attitude, she wanted to fire him, but first the mystery he created must be solved. I already told you Mrs. Colby, that I have the order under control, the ship will be arriving tonight, and the supplies will be offloaded and taken to our wear house. I trust you, I just want to make sure it arrives before this weekends convention, if we dont get our supplies we are toast. Fallon said. Maybe I should call Pharaoh shipping, and make sure the boats are going to be on time. Harold tensed up at once. No, that is not necessary, I already talked to Duncan Pharaoh myself, and he assured me everything was fine. I will see to the off loading my self, and everything will be fine. He stood up. Now if you will excuse me. I have some work to do. With that he left the room, and Fallon mumbled Prick. In the hallway Harold dialed his cell phone. Its me, yes. Ive set up the transfer, yes, I changed the shipping order with Pharaoh Shipping, Mrs. Colby will find out too late, when the World Com. Convention is screwed up because the computers and other supplies didnt show up. Harold smiled as he talked with his boss, not noticing that Miles Colby watched form a distance. Yes, The shipment of cocaine will arrive tonight as well, Im sure the authorities will shut down La Mirage immediately. Miles thought to himself, Well isnt that interesting, Im just going to have to follow you tonight, and see where this shipment of cocaine is stored. Miles smiled as he snuck around the corner and walked into Fallons office. Hello Miles. Fallon said. Ive got some good news. Miles smiled. I think its time to play a little game with our dear friend Harold. Well, dont keep me in suspense? Miles told her about the conversation he over heard, and his plan to follow Harold tonight. I think you should call Pharaoh shipping, and make sure that your supplies arrive tomorrow via trucks, but be sure to tell him to continue his shipment tonight. I dont want Harold or his boss to know weve caught on to their plan until its too late. What about the cocaine, if its found on La Mirage property we will be shut down. Oh dont worry about that. Ill take care of it. Miles smile as a plan was formulated.
