Kelly woke up the next morning to her room phone ringing. She answered it, knowing that both her parents were at work, her mother being a full time lawyer and her father being a day doctor at the local hospital. �Hello?� she asked in a bleary voice. The person on the other line had apparently been up for a while, replied, �Hey Kelly?� Kelly blinked her eyes awake and said, �Yeah? Who is this?� The person replied, �It�s Matt, from Hang Ten.� Kelly shot up to a sitting position and said, �Matt? Hi!� Matt replied, �Hey! What�s up?� Kelly looked at her clock and said, �Well, I have band rehearsal in an hour and a half. Do you want to go?� Matt replied excitedly, �You mean like as your date?� Kelly shrugged and answered, �I guess you could call it that.� Matt gasped and asked, �What time do I have to be there?� Kelly answered, �Mandi�s picking me up in forty minutes, how about I have her pick you up?� Kelly could tell Matt was nodding as he said, �Okay! I�ll get dressed then. I�ll see you in fifty minutes?� Kelly stopped him from hanging up by asking, �Could you give me directions to your house?� Matt agreed that directions would work, so he told her his house address and said, �You can get them off Webmaster Mapping Online. Because knowing me, I�ll get you totally confused.� Kelly laughed and replied, �Okay. Thanks I�ll see you in fifty!� They hung up and Kelly jumped out of bed, dashing down the hall to her bathroom to take a shower.


~At Katherine�s House~

Amanda woke up at 5:30, climbed out of the extra bed and walked over to where Katherine was sleeping, on the other side of the room. She tapped Katherine�s shoulder. Katherine woke up unexpectedly and said, �Who? What? Where? When? Why?� Amanda glanced around the room confused and looking back at Katherine said, �We have to get ready for band practice.� Katherine nodded and yawned, �You take a shower first. I�ll wait here and sleep.� Amanda rolled her eyes and said, �C�mon! Get up!� She shoved Katherine off the bed and Katherine moaned, �Oww.� Amanda smiled, �Greg will be there! Remember? Tall, dark and handsome boy named Greg.� Katherine looked at Amanda and said, �I think you broke my nose.� Amanda laughed and helped Katherine up. Katherine, becoming more serious, continued, �You use the bathroom across the hall and I�ll use the one down the hallway.� Amanda nodded and grabbed her towels the same time Katherine did.


~At Mandi�s House~

Mandi, loving her dream at first, suddenly heard a fire alarm. She saw herself run down a hallway, trying to find a way out, as the fire alarm wouldn�t stop ringing. It took her a few seconds to realize that it was her room phone. She blinked and picked up her fuzzy pink phone. �Talk to me.� she said, trying to sound awake. A very awake voice replied, �Hi! It�s Chris!� Mandi propped herself up on her arm and said, �Chris? From that club last night?� Chris replied, �Yep! That�s me! The one that walked you home.� Mandi smiled, �Oh hey! What�s up?� Chris replied, �Not much, what time do you want me to be at band rehearsal?� Mandi replied, �I have to pick up my friend Kelly, I�ll pick you up after okay?� Chris replied, �Okay. You probably need directions to my house, huh?� Mandi nodded, laughing, �That�d help a lot.� Chris gave her his address and said, �I�d give you directions, but I got myself lost trying to go from your house to mine.� Mandi laughed, �Okay, I�ll use Webmaster Mapping Online.� Chris smiled and said, �Thanks. I gotta do my hair! I�ll see ya in about an hour?� Mandi nodded and said, �That�ll work. Bye.� They hung up and Mandi said, �Gay webmaster�s so slow with my computer.� She walked over to her computer and moved the mouse, waking the computer up. She signed onto the Internet and entered Chris�s address, saying, �I�ll just take a shower and get dressed while I wait!� She entered her address and pressed the go button telling Webmaster Mapping to find directions from her house to Chris�s.


~At Tic�s House~

�Five more minutes mom!� Tic moaned to the person trying to wake her up. The person replied, �I�m not mom.� Tic answered, �Ten minutes, dad.� The person laughed, �I�m not dad.� Tic moaned again, �Leave me alone for an hour, dork!� The person replied, �Hey! That�s not funny!� Seconds later, Tic was freezing. She sat up, yelling, �I�m up! Turn the air-conditioning off!� She looked at her bed and saw that she wasn�t covered up with sheets. Looking up, she moaned and replied to herself, �And the fan is on.� She got up and walked over to the door way and shut the fan off with a flip of the switch. Picking out her clothes, she listened to the radio. �And that was �Swing, Swing� by The All American Rejects. Up next we have�� the radio trailed on as Tic chose a pair of designer jeans and a superman T-shirt. She pulled her hair back into a ponytail and applied her makeup with care. �Only thing left to do is call Frankie!� She replied after finishing her makeup.


~At Kelly�s House~

After Kelly�s shower, she chose out a cute but movable outfit. She put her baby blue jeans and a plain baby pink shirt. After she was completely ready, she ran out to her kitchen and poured herself a glass of water. Kelly brought the glass of water into the computer room and waited patiently for the computer to fully boot up. She set the glass down as the screen became ready and colored. She quickly signed onto the Internet and waited for her computer to connect to Webmaster Mapping. After it was loaded, she typed in Matt�s address and her address and then clicked the �go� button. The directions quickly popped up and said, �You�re destination has been found.� She printed out the page and a half of directions. Once the printer finished, Kelly shut down the computer right as the doorbell rang. She grabbed her backpack and ran to the door to answer it. Standing at the door was Mandi and a boy. Kelly smiled, �Hi.� The boy smiled and introduced himself, �I�m Chris. Mandi invited me.� Kelly nodded replying, �Hi, I�m Kelly. Mandi, we need to stop and pick up my friend. Here are the directions to his house.� Kelly handed Mandi the directions to Matt�s house, continuing, �I invited a friend to rehearsal too.�


~At Katherine�s House~

Amanda got out of the shower and dressed quickly then did her makeup while waiting for Katherine. Minutes later, Katherine entered the room dressed and sat down next to Amanda. Katherine smiled and said, �Can�t wait to see Greg again. He�s so cute!� Amanda agreed, �Yeah, what are the odds that we found two hot boys that know each other?� Katherine shrugged, suggesting, �Um�one to none. By the way, I like your outfit. It�s very pink.� Amanda laughed and said, �It�s comfortable too.� Amanda had chosen a pair of pink pajama pants, a white shirt with pink sleeves and a pink beanie hat that matched the pants. Katherine nodded, continuing, �I bet!� Amanda laughed, �Your outfit is cute too.� Katherine was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a one-shouldered gray shirt with a purple, pink and blue butterfly on the front of it. Katherine smiled, saying, �Thank you. So Greg and Jesse are meeting us at the studio?� Amanda nodded, answering, �Yeah, they said they�d have no trouble finding it. I just hope that they know that the studio that we practice in is all the way in the back of all the other studio buildings.� Katherine laughed, �Yeah, me to.� They finished their make up and ran downstairs. As they left the house, Katherine yelled, �I�m going out with my friends! I don�t know when I�ll be back!� There was no reply, so Amanda and Katherine just left the house.


~At Tic�s House~

Tic dialed Frankie�s number as she said it, �Five, five, five. One, oh, seven, nine.� She listened to the ringing of the phone as a young teenage boy answered the phone, �Hello? Galasso Residence may I ask who�s calling?� Tic laughed, �Frankie?� The boy answered, �Yes, this is he.� Tic giggled more and asked, �Are you running a hotel or something over there? It�s Tic.� Frankie quickly replied, �No! I�It�s�I can�I�� He tried to explain and Tic reassured him, �I know. So you�re coming to my rehearsal today, right?� Frankie answered, �Yeah, are you walking? I only live a few streets away. I can meet you at the corner of your street.� Tic nodded, replying, �Yeah, I walk, its good exercise. I�ll meet you at the corner!� They exchanged quick goodbyes and leaving her house after saying goodbye, Tic walked to the corner of her street and waited for Frankie.


~In Mandi�s Car~

�So what�s your friends name?� Chris asked Kelly. Kelly replied in answer, �His name is Matt.� Chris turned around and asked, �Matt what?� Kelly replied, �Matt�Ballinger, I think.� Chris gasped, �I know him! He�s my friend!� Kelly giggled as Mandi laughed, �What are the odds!� Kelly smiles and said, �Turn up the music! I love this song!� Mandi pulled into the driveway of Matt�s house and said, �Go get him, we�re running late!� Kelly climbed out of the car and ran up to the door. She rang the doorbell and waited for some one to answer the door. A boy answered the door and Kelly said, �Hi, Matt�Did you shrink?� The boy rolled his eyes and yelled, �Jumbo! It�s for you!� The boy ran away from the door with a nervous look in his eyes. Matt came into sighed seconds later and yelled, �Bye mom! I�m leaving!� Kelly and Matt walked back to Mandi�s car and climbed into it. Mandi pulled away from Matt�s house, saying, �Next stop, the studio!�


~At The Studio~

�No, no, no! You did it all wrong!� Promise�s manager, Chuck, said in disappointment. Katherine stood up saying, �I think the counting is off.� Chuck glanced at Katherine, �How can you tell?� Katherine turned to Amanda and said, �Could you sing from the beginning for me, just sing?� Amanda nodded and started singing as Katherine started counting, doing the dance as she did so, �1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.� She stopped dancing and signaled Amanda that she could stop singing for now. Katherine nodded continuing, �Yeah, it�s ahead by one count and a half. Slow it down, lets see.� Chuck nodded and told them to start the dance, making it end perfectly. Chris nodded, �Great call Kat.� Katherine shrugged and said, �No big. Its what I�m here for.� Amanda stopped dancing and asked Katherine, �Are they here yet?� Katherine shook her head no and answered, �Not yet. I wonder what�s taking so long.�
