The song finished moment�s later, making Kelly return to a full standing position. Matt smiled, saying, �That was fun. So, did you come here with any one?� Kelly nodded and answered, walking off the dance floor with Matt, �I came here with my four best friends. We kinda separated to do our own thing.� Matt nodded and said, �Yeah, same here. Jesse pointed over at some table and said he�d be over there. I saw a girl sitting where he pointed. Then he disappeared.� Kelly let out a small giggle and said, �Oh, I know that my friend Katherine was checking her email, my other two friends Mandi and Tic went wherever and Amanda sat down at one of those tables over there.�
Jesse laughed, replying, �Don�t worry, it�ll come soon.� Amanda smiled and said, �Do you want to hang out at my bands rehearsal tomorrow?� Jesse shrugged, answering, �I don�t want to be the only one there, not dancing or singing.� Amanda replied quickly, �Oh, you won�t be. My friend Katherine, she isn�t in the band, but goes to all the rehearsals. Jesse nodded and replied, �Sure, I�d love to go.�
Katherine smiled and said, �Cool, do you want to hang out tomorrow? I�m going to my friend�s band rehearsal.� Greg nodded and replied, �Sure, thanks for the invite. I look forward to it.� Katherine smiled and said, �Cool, I want you to meet one of them!� She grabbed Greg�s hand and walked towards the table where Amanda had gone. �Hey Amanda!� She yelled from a few feet away. Amanda looked her way and waved. Jesse turned around and said, �Which friend of yours is that?� Amanda smiled and said, �Katherine.� Jesse took a second look and said, �That�s my friend, Greg!� Katherine waved back to Amanda and finished walking over to her. Greg followed slowly as Amanda introduced Katherine to Jesse. Jesse saw Greg and said, �Hey! What�s up Greg?� Katherine shook Jesse�s hand, as Greg replied, �Not much.�
Mandi smiled back at Chris saying, �What are we going to do for our date? I have band rehearsal from 8-4 in the afternoon.� Chris nodded and said, �We can work around that, can�t we?� Mandi thought for a second and said, �How about you come to band rehearsal?! You won�t be the only one sitting around. My friend Katherine isn�t in the band, but joins us at band rehearsal every day.� Chris nodded and replied, �Sure! I�ll go.�
Tic followed Frankie to the juice bar and said, �Two uhh�Two�� Tic finished, �Two cokes.� The server nodded and left. Frankie nodded and said, �You like coke to?� Tic nodded and said, �Want to come to my band practice tomorrow? It�ll be fun. Then maybe we could go out to dinner.� Frankie nodded and said, �Sounds like a date to me.� The server returned to Frankie and Tic with two cans of Fizzy Bubbles Coke. Tic smiled back at Frankie, and looking at her watch, she said, �Oh shit! I gotta go! My father�s gonna kill me!� Frankie grabbed her hand and said, �Can I get your number or something?�
Kelly looked at the clock hanging above the DJ and said, �Damn! I have to be home soon. My mom�s making dinner and I promised I�d be there. She says we aren�t spending enough �family time�.� Matt nodded and said, �Okay, want to exchange numbers?� Kelly smiled and replied, �Sure.� Kelly took out a pen and said as she wrote, �5-5-5�1-0-4-7.� She handed Matt the napkin and said, �There it is! My number.� Matt wrote down his saying, �5-5-5�1-5-8-0.� He handed Kelly his number and said, �That�s my personal phone number, leads straight to my room.� Kelly nodded and said, �Okay.� As she went to leave, Matt gave her a kiss on the cheek. Kelly blushed and said, �Bye.�
Amanda looked at Greg and said, �You must be Greg.� Greg nodded and said, �Yeah, I am.� She caught a glimpse of Greg�s watch and said, bewildered, �5:30?� Greg looked at his watch and Jesse said, �Yeah, it�s 5:30.� Amanda turned to Katherine and said, �Won�t your step-uncle get really mad if we aren�t home before 6?� Greg turned to Katherine and said, �Step-Uncle?� Katherine nodded and said, �Technically the only family I have left. I�m originally from California. My dad died in plane crash. My mom got remarried, we moved to Indiana and then four months later they died in a car accident. I got sent off to live with my grandpa in Switzerland. He died of heart attack, making me get sent of to my aunt�s house in Paris. She got fired and couldn�t support me, and then after I left, she died of cancer. Now, I�m here, with my step-dad�s brother; my step-uncle.�

~Mandi�s and Chris�s Walk To Mandi�s Home*
Mandi smiled and said, �Do you have the time?� Chris looked around and said, �Nope! Not me. Why? Am I boring you?� Mandi laughed and said, �No, you aren�t boring me, I just have a curfew at 7 o�clock and I want to make sure that I�m in the house at 6:45.� Chris nodded and said, �I�ll walk you home.� Mandi bit her bottom lip and said, �Thanks.� They left the club and walked towards Mandi�s house. Once they got there, Chris said, �Whoa! You live here?� Mandi nodded and said, �Kinda big huh?� Chris replied, �Kinda? It�s a castle! Which room�s yours?� Mandi pointed to the window on the far right hand side of the house and said, �See that room over there? That�s my room, the second biggest bedroom.� Chris nodded and replied, �Not to shabby.�

~At The Hang Ten~
Tic nodded and replied, �Sure, you got a pen?� Frankie searched his pockets for a pen, but before finding one, the server gave him one. Frankie nodded, �Thanks.� The server replied, �That�ll be 2 dollars for the cokes.� Frankie reached into his pocket and pulled out two dollars. Smiling he said, �There ya go!� He took a napkin and ripped it into two pieces. He gave one piece and the pen to Tic and said, �Ladies first.� Tic wrote down her number, �5-5-5�1-0-2-5.� She handed Frankie the pen and said, �Now you.� Frankie wrote down his number, �5-5-5�1-0-7-9.� Frankie gave the pen back to the server and said, �Thanks.� He handed Tic his number and Tic handed Frankie her number in return. Tic smiled, repeating the number in her mind and said, �I better get going.� Frankie stood up and kissed her cheek. Tic smiled shyly and Frankie said, �I�ll call you and I�ll see you tomorrow!�

~Kelly�s Walk Home~
Kelly walked towards her house, feeling happier than she had earlier. She waved to her neighbors as the length to her house came closer to an end. Her next-door neighbor�s son, Jordan, waved and said, �Sup dawg?� Kelly smiled and waved to Jordan, replying, �Not much, you dig what I�m saying?� Jordan smiled and answered, �I dig! See ya dawg!� Kelly laughed and walked into her house, yelling, �I�m home!�

~Back At The Hang Ten~
Greg and Jesse�s mouths were open with shock and Jesse said, �You experience a lot of death.� Greg, finally coming to his senses, asked Amanda, �Are you spending the night at her house?� Amanda nodded and said, �Yep!� Katherine laughed and said, �Yeah, he�s not all that strict, when he�s in a good mood.� She the corner of her mouth smiled and Amanda said, �We should at least be back before 8.� Katherine nodded and said, �That gives us�� She paused in thought, the finished, �2 hours and 30 minutes to do whatever we want!� Jesse smiled and said, �Want to go to the movies with us?� Greg nodded and Katherine glanced at Amanda and said, �It�s a good way to use up 2 hours and 30 minutes!� Amanda shrugged and said, �Sure. It�ll be fun.�

~At Mandi�s House~
Mandi smiled and said, �Thanks. I�d invite you in, but my parents would rather think that I found you at school, instead of in a teenager hang out.� Chris laughed and said, tapping on his cheek, �It�s okay. Just give me a kiss goodnight, and we�ll be cool!� Mandi laughed and said, �Okay, you big flirt!� She kissed Chris�s cheek and said, �G�night.� Chris hugged her and wondered aloud, �Can I have your number?� Mandi nodded and said, �Give me your hand.� She pulled a pen out of her purse and wrote down her number, �5-5-5�0-8-9-9.� Chris read back the number aloud and said, �Okay, thanks. I�ll call you about tomorrow.� Mandi nodded and watched Chris walk down the road. She ran into the house, making it in at exactly 7:00.

~Tic�s Walk Home~
Tic walked out of the club and turned right, facing the direction of her house. She held Frankie�s number close to her heart and whispered in a soft singing voice, �More than a dream, my one true love. Don�t leave me out in the cold night, my one and only. I�d miss you like hell, my one baby. I�ll admit you are my one, my only, my love, my baby.� She stopped and said, �I like that!� She returned to her walk, turning the corner and running the last few 100 yards to her house. Going up the steps and into her house, running the her room yelling, �Hi mom! I�ll be in my room!� Tic opened her bedroom door and entered, plopping down on her bed and taking a sheet of paper out. She wrote down the song she had sung on her way home and put it in a safe spot for safe keeping until she could finish writing it.
