Matt and Charlie found themselves running through the streets in the pouring rain asking everyone they met "Have you seen this girl?" and showing them Sheryl�s picture that Charlie had in his wallet but no one had or they weren�t saying.

After an hour when they were soaking wet and miles away from fletch's office Charlie broke down into tears and feel to his knees

"Its no use we won�t find her, she�s... she�s de-"

"She�s not dead!" Matt found himself shouting back "I can tell she�s not there�s no way I can feel it"

Charlie looked up as matt knelt down next to him, he'd never realised how compassionate matt could actually be, maybe he wasn�t as hard and as mad as he liked to make out, maybe he was covering up something terrible from his past. For a few minutes the pair of them just sat there in the rain sobbing together.

Until they heard a loud crash from an alleyway just a few feet from where they were sitting. They cautiously crept over to see what was going on but when they reached the alley they were in for a shock.

"SHERYL!" Screamed Charlie running to her side

Shezz was lying on the floor with blood running from her side, heather had shot her. Matt ran further up the alley to see if he could find heather but she was gone. Charlie rang and ambulance and kept sobbing into Sheryl�s top "Its gonna be ok babes, you're gonna be ok I swear"

Meanwhile already at the hospital James was outside with Laura and Gemma waiting for Matt to call

"Do you think their ok?" Gemz asked after an hour "Matt and Charlie will be fine" James said "its Shezz I�m worried about"

Just then his phone rang "It�s Matt!" James announced "I�ll be right back"

James came back looking as white as a sheet.

"What? What is it?" shrieked Laura grabbing his hand "It�s Sheryl" he choked "she�s been shot, in a bad way. The ambulance is on its way; Matt�s worried about Charlie though, thinks he might do something stupid"

"Oh god!!" Gemma said bursting into tears "I�ve got to phone Lynsey, Lynsey will be devastated. And Sheryl�s parents and everyone at school and and" Gemma collapsed into a chair.

"Calm down she'll be ok I promise" said James but even he could tell that he didn�t sound convincing

"Fletch is stable" Emily said walking over "hello he�s gonna be ok stop looking so bad now"

"Sheryl�s been shot Emily she�s in a real bad way and Matt thinks Charlie is gonna do something stupid" Laura said and moved in to hug Emily

Charlie walked in and saw them all, they turned and James went to speak to him but Charlie ran for the lift and said something about jumps.
