Chapter 2

"Hey guys, how's it going?" Matt asked as he walked over to them. At last American History was over. English was over too. In fact, half of the day was over. Being seniors, they never really did much work. However, they did discuss a lot of boring topics still. Danny, Francisco and Aaron were walking out of the classroom and Matt had walked over to them. Matt was another one of their posse. The other was Tom Felton, who had moved from Great Britain after he was done with the Harry Potter movies.

"Oh, boring classes...at least we only have 4 hours of school now..." Francisco responded.
"Yeah, I know. I'm so sick of these teachers..." Aaron complained.
"Yeah. And it sucks that we still have to go to college for another 6 years if we want a master's degree," Danny whined.
"You don't have to go to college," Matt pointed out, "Look at me! I'm not going to college. My modeling is gonna give me all the money I need by the time I'm too old to keep modeling."
"Yeah, but you never know. The higher education you have the better jobs you can get," Francisco told him. Matt nodded.
"That's true," he said quietly as they walked down the halls toward the lunch room. They pushed the doors open and into the cafeteria they stepped. They looked over to their usual table, a table big enough to fit 10 people only. The girls were already there. There was Lalaine, Hilary, Mary Kate, Angel, and Kelly. And as the four of the guys walked in, Tom sat next to Kelly. She smiled and kissed him on the cheek as the rest of the group walked over to join them.

"Hey guys," Kelly said as she noticed them. Hilary smiled at everyone, and pretended to ignore Aaron.
"Wassah!" Matt said as he sat next to Mary Kate. She smiled to him and kissed him lightly on the lips. He kissed her back as everyone else sat down.
"Did you tell him?" Angel asked Francisco as he sat down.
"Yeah, he's fine with it," Francisco said. Angel grinned widely and grabbed his hand. They held hands as the group began to talk.
"I love you..." Kelly moaned as she kissed Tom on the lips.
"I love you too," Tom said with his natural British accent as he kissed her back.
"I love you more..." Kelly said as she kissed him again.
"I love you more than that..." Tom outdid her by adding tongue to the kiss.
"Geez! We know you love each other. But love each other privately," Aaron laughed. Everyone at the table laughed along with him, including Tom and Kelly.
"So, what are we doin after school today?" Danny asked as he and Lalaine held hands.
"The movies. Cabin Fever!" Lalaine practically screamed. Danny smiled. They were so perfect for each other. They both loved the same things.
"Jeepers Creepers 2," Angel suggested. Francisco smiled and kissed her on the cheek.
"Why don't we just see both?" Hilary said, being the voice of reason. Aaron smiled and nodded to that. She still pretended not to see him.
"Yeah, that works..." Mary Kate smiled.
"So how is Ashley doing?" Matt asked her.
"At the movie shoot? Fine," Mary Kate said. Matt nodded.
"Well, we can see the movie right after school. Cause we get out at like, what, 2:00?" Francisco asked. Everyone nodded.
"So, yeah, somebody check the times and we'll go straight to the show," said Angel.
"Yeah, but for now, let's go get lunch!" Aaron said. Everyone chuckled and got from their seats over to the lunch line.

"Okay, this is like sooo great!" Lalaine smiled as they looked up at the screen. They were already in the movie theatre, and Jeepers Creepers 2 had started first. So they were watching it, and they were about half way through it.
"DON'T TOUCH HIS WING!" Hilary yelled at the screen. Too late. The wing wrapped around the kid and took him into the air.
"AHHH!" Lalaine screamed and cuddled next to Danny. Danny held her tight.
"OH MY GOD! YOU DORK!" Kelly screamed at the screen.
"EEW! His head is gone! That guy was hott!" Mary Kate said. Matt looked at her with confused eyes.
"But not as hott as you, babe," Mary Kate made up for it. He smiled and they cuddled some more. The group was the only people in the theatre since everyone else was at school or at work.
Danny looked back at Francisco and Angel. They were making out at the very back of the theatre, holding each other tight. Danny shook his head and looked back at the screen.
"She's not even watching the movie," Danny said to Lalaine.
"Who?" she asked.
"Angel. And she wanted to see this so bad," Danny grinned. Lalaine smiled.
"I gotta go to the bathroom, hun, I'll be back, ok?" Lalaine said to him. Danny nodded.
"Hurry back though, you're gonna miss the movie," Danny reminded her. She smiled.
"Don't worry. Love you," Lalaine said and walked out of the row. She walked up the aisle and out of the theatre. She was now in the hall. She looked at the doors to find the Ladies' Room. Finally, she found the stick person wearing a dress and went into the door under it. She went in the stall and shut the door. There was a rustle in the stall next to her.
"Hello?" Lalaine asked. No one answered. She shrugged her shoulders and prepared.

"Both movies were cool," Lalaine said as Danny walked her up to the house she lived in.
"Yeah, they were," Danny agreed as they arrived at the door. They looked at each other.
"So...I'll see you tomorrow?" Danny broke the silence.
"Definitely...I'd invite you in but my parents are home..." Lalaine blubbered. Her eyes went wide as silence fell again.
"COME ON, DANNY! WE GOT OTHER PEOPLE TO DROP OFF!" Francisco called from the car. Danny flicked him off and looked back at Lalaine.
"See ya," Danny kissed her. She kissed him back with OOHs and AHHs coming from the car. They pulled away and smiled to each other.
"Bye..." Lalaine said dreamily. Danny walked away from the house and Lalaine watched him. When he got in the car and they drove away, she pulled out her set of keys, slid them into the keyhole, twisted the lock and went into the house. She looked around. It was so quiet.
"Mom? Dad?" Lalaine called from the front door. She shut and locked it, and walked through the house. Where were they?
"Mom? I'm home!" Lalaine called again as she walked into the kitchen. Her eyes went wide in a second time and she backed out of it. There were her parents, lying cold on the kitchen floor with a hole in their heads the size of a bottle cap. She covered her mouth with her hands, looking deeper at the floor. A large puddle of blood was sitting untouched, except where she had stepped. She let out a silent shriek as she turned to run. But something was blocking her path.
A rather large man dressed in black stood tall right next to her, holding a 9mm Beretta in his hand. He wore black leather gloves and a black satin mask. She looked up at him as he attempted to grab her.
"NO!" she screamed, and kicked him where the sun don't shine. He bent down and dropped his gun, as she pushed him out of the way and tore off toward the stair case. She sprinted up the stairs as fast as she could, and ran quickly into her room. She slammed the door shut. She squeaked when she noticed she had no lock. She ran to her computer desk and grabbed the chair, slamming it on the doorknob and making it stationary. She heard the sounds of the man coming up the stairs. She didn't have much time.
She ran back over to her computer desk and grabbed her telephone. She turned it on. Lalaine was surprised to hear that there was no dial tone. She dropped it to the ground and backed away. The brunette ran over to her window and looked outside. The drop was too huge, and if she tried to get out she would fall on the picket fence. That would kill her instantly.
"OH MY GOD!" Lalaine cried, tears strolling out of her eyes. She ran to her closet as the man opened her door. The chair was preventing him from coming in. She pulled the door of the closet open and sat inside, crying her eyes out as she was stuck in a room with no way out. She was beyond panic. The man reached his hand inside the room, throwing it side to side and getting nothing but air. He pulled his arm out and slammed his gun inside. Lalaine screamed as he put the gun to the leg of the chair and shot. You could barely hear the shot; he had a silencer. The leg broke and the chair collapsed to the ground. Lalaine jumped up to her feet and ran over to her window. She pushed it up. She'd rather die than get shot. She climbed out the window and prepared to jump. But before she could move another muscle, an un gloved hand wrapped around her mouth and pulled her back into the room, slamming the window shut.
