Chapter 1

Valentine's Day had finally come! But in California, no one even knew it was winter. Danny had moved to California a little over 2 years ago for more auditions and such, and he was glad he did. For when he went to school, he saw nothing but celebrities. He had called Francisco and informed him about it, and no sooner than 2 months later Francisco was moving in the penthouse apartment right underneath Danny. They both had a bit of money with their mom's, so they could afford a whole apartment floor. And the best part was that they knocked some of the floor out, putting a black spiral staircase in it's place. Now it was like an upstairs and a downstairs, and Danny was upstairs. Danny's mom and Francisco's mom were good friends, just like Danny and Francisco. But Rich, Francisco's mom's boyfriend, was a jerk to Francisco. Francisco hated him. That was another story for another day.
But Danny's girlfriend was Lalaine. They had been together for a year since Valentine's Day, and today was their anniversary. In the little town of Erekita, where only the rich could live, Danny and Lalaine's love had grown stronger over the year. So Danny, to express his love for her, brought her a silver bracelet with a charm of a silver dolphin. He walked about the school looking for her, Francisco and Aaron Carter talking on his side.
"Love dovey for Lalaine a fuzzy!" Aaron teased.
"That made no sense," Danny fought back with a laugh. He couldn't hold it anymore. He let it out, and the three of them did too. He was right, after all.
"Aaron, who's your valentine this year?" Francisco asked him.
"Surprisingly, I don't have one. After that story that Hilary made up about me last year; saying that I cheated on her and took her and another girl, my options have been limited. I didn't bring another girl though! She just...happened to show up as we arrived and took my arm..." Aaron said. All three of them laughed as they came closer to Lalaine's locker. She was already reaching inside it, pulling out her books.
"So, Francisco, who is your valentine?" Aaron asked him. Francisco looked away and muttered something.
"What was that?" Danny asked him.
"I said my valentine is an Angel," Francisco said. Aaron smiled.
Aaron said, "All girls are. But what's her name?"
"I just told you..." Francisco said.
"Valentine? No, wait, ANGEL?!" Aaron yelled. Francisco squealed and took off running down the hall, Aaron following. Danny laughed as he walked over to Lalaine's locker and leaned against the one next to it.
"Hey," Danny said. She smiled.
"Hey Danny! How's it going?" Lalaine asked and kissed him on the cheek, "Happy Valentine's Day!" she added as she pulled away.
"I bought you this," Danny said, reaching in his pocket and pulling out the bracelet box. She gasped and took it from him gently, opening it quickly and gazing inside.
"Oh my gosh! It's beautiful! I love it!" Lalaine said cheerfully as she wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him into a tight embrace, "Thank you!"
"No problem," Danny rubbed her back with his hands. They both pulled away.
"I got you this," Lalaine said, reaching into her locker and pulling out a CD. It was the newest Aaron Carter CD.
"Oh, merci mon cherie!" Danny said in French (Oh, thank you my darling). He kissed her lightly on the lips as he took the CD. She returned the kiss and added a little tongue. They French kissed for a few seconds before pulling away.
"Well, listen babe, I gotta get to class. I'll catch you later?" Danny asked her. She smiled and nodded.
"Definitely hun!" Lalaine smiled and kissed him on the cheek. She shut her locker door and waved as she walked away down the hall. Danny waved back with a grin and walked in the opposite direction toward his own class.
5 minutes later he was walking into his own classroom, sitting down next to Francisco and Aaron. They chatted amongst themselves as they waited for the teacher to come in. When she did, they still didn't stop talking.
The teacher began, "Ok, class, as you know Governor Ellis and current Mayor Schwartzenager are running for mayor of California. Today we will be discussing about the former Mayors of California and what impacts they have made on our states."
"Blah, boring lesson," Danny groaned.
Aaron frowned, "Are you and my sister together?"
"No!" Danny said quickly.
"No, not you. Francisco," Aaron said, looking at him.
"Yeah, we have been for about a month," Francisco pointed out. Aaron's mouth dropped and a small ‘eep' came from it. He looked at Danny. Danny nodded to agree with what Francisco had said.
"But....why didn't nobody tell me?" Aaron questioned them.
Francisco sighed, "Because we knew you'd act like this."
Aaron's mouth dropped again as he shook his head, "I'm not acting like anything!"
"Are too!" Francisco said.
"Are not!" Aaron protested.
"Are-," Francisco started.
"Gentlemen? Do you have something to say to the rest of the class?" the female teacher asked. Aaron stood up and smiled falsely.
"Besides the fact that beads on braids are not in style anymore, nothing at all," Aaron sat back down as the class laughed. The teacher rubbed the beads on her braids and threw them behind her back.
"Enough, gentlemen. Pay attention to the lesson!" Danny sighed and slammed his back on his chair, looking up at the teacher teach.
"Are not," Aaron whispered to Francisco.
