"Bry...why and where are you running??" Shane asked him in amusement. "Shiri...it's...she's..." Bryan tried to talk.
"What...what's wrong with her??" Diana, who heard it, got alarmed.
"She's burning up and talking nonsense..." Bryan ran on. "I'm gonna get a doctor." He shouted, being pretty far away from them already.
"Oh God...." Shane said. Diana ran to Shiri's room, Shane following her. They saw Shiri shaking and calling for Kian. The view was frustrating. They couldn't do anything, a whole lot of doctors had come in and asked them to get out.
As they were in the waiting room Shane suddenly realized "Damn, Kian...where's Kian?"
"He went to have a little rest." Bryan stated, still not able to sit, cause of all the fuss. "I'll call him..." Bryan said, taking out his mobile.
Now Shane saw Diana shaking, she was on the verge of starting to cry. When Shane looked into her eyes, he could see she was scared, so damn scared.
"Is she gonna die?" She quietly asked, looking up to him.
"No...of course not..." Shane told her as he took hold of her to hug her.
"but..." Diana started.
"She's gonna be okay.....everything's gonna be okay...you'll see." he told her, caressing her hair.
"Yeah?" Kian answered.
"Ki...it's Bryan..."
"What is it?" Kian got alarmed.
"It's Shiri..."
"What...what??..." Kian started to panic. Bryan didn't have a chance to say anything else as Diana took the mobile from him.
"Look mister...if you don't get your butt here RIGHT AWAY...then I swear I'm gonna strangle you!...this is all your fault...you got her into it...." Her voice faded away cause she started crying hard.
"What's my fault?...What happened???" Kian was puzzled.
Shane took Diana back into his arms to comfort her. She slowly let go of the phone, sobbing into Shane's blouse.
You could hear Kian's voice on the other end of the line "Hello?...what happened?" He sounded pretty confused and had started to drive back to the hospital already.
Bryan took the phone. "Ki...Shiri got worse..." He told Kian.
"Oh my God...What is it? What happened to MY Shiri??" He asked, demanding. From his voice could be heard he was in the edge of tears.
"Your...? Whatever..." Bryan said, confused. "Just come here quickly...she called for you... "
"I'll be right there". He hung up. There were so many thoughts in his head right on that moment. "I can't lose her now that I've found her..." he thought to himself, fastening the car.
In the same time in Shiri's room there were doctors who tried to stabilize her condition. One of them came out. Diana faced her.
"What was that?...Is she alright now?" She panicked, still holding on to Shane. "Her condition is pretty bad...."
"Is she gonna be okay?" Diana didn't listen to the doctor at all. "She IS gonna be alright...right? Can I please see her?" She wouldn't let the doctor speak.
"I'm afraid not...not now" the doctor said. Then Kian got there.
"Where is she?" he demanded.
"Why did you have to do that? I hate you..." Diana told him, trying to get to him to hit him. But she was too weak at the moment, Shane held her tight, shushing her.
"You can't go...." The doctor tried to tell him but he was already in Shiri's room. The doctor followed Kian to the room. "I'm sorry mister, but you can't be here."
"But she called for me....." Kian said, sitting to the chair next to Shiri's bed.
"Oh, you're the guy she called for?" the doctor asked.
"Yes...that's me." He said, not taking his eyes off Shiri.
"Okay.....then you can stay for awhile. But note that she's under drugs and you can't communicate with her." She told Kian.
"Can she hear me?" he asked her, full of hope.
"Yes...that's possible..." the doctor said. "I'm going now...you can only stay for a little while. Okay?" she said, leaving the room.
Kian took Shiri's hand, holding it. Just then Shiri made a little noise.
"Ki..." she whispered.
"I'm here...don't worry...I'm here...always will be..." he said, a tear rolled down his cheek.
"Kian..." she said, again. This time Kian put his lips on hers, softly kissing her. "I'll be here, as long as you'll get better...and then we'll be together...forever...I promise." When he said that, Shiri almost unnoticeably smiled. It could've also been his imagination, but he wanted to think it wasn't. "It's gonna be ok Shir, you're gonna get well..." He said, putting his head on the bed, near Shiri's.
"As I already told you...her condition is pretty critical." The doctor explained to Diana, Shane and Bryan. "We'll do everything we possibly can to help her...." She said. They nodded. "I've got some other patients to check on." the doctor said and with that, she walked off.
"I can't believe this... " Diana said, still sobbing.
Just then Bryan's mobile rang. "Yes?" he asked, being pretty annoyed.
"Hey."
"Oh hi Nix....what is it?" Bryan asked.
"Only me, Mark and you were at the rehearsals, so Louie wants to know what's wrong...you know how he hates all those phone conversations...right?"
"Yeah..." Bryan said, getting interested in what Nicky had to say.
"Well, we gotta go and explain him a few things...like what half of Westlife is doing in a hospital." He said.
"You mean...all of us?"
"What?.. What's going on Bry?" Shane, who heard Bryan's talking, asked quietly, so not to upset Diana even more.
"We gotta go explain Louie what's happening..."
"Oh..." Nicky started. "Georgina's coming to town and I can't go to pick her up from the airport...could someone go?"
"Shit..." Bryan suddenly said, making everybody around stare at him. "Sorry!" He smiled one of his sweet smiles. "I had to get Kerry and Dylan from the airport."
"Anyone who can go?" Nicky asked.
"Shane?" Bryan looked at Shane. "Would you be able to go pick up Georgie, Kerry and Dylan from the airport? They're coming from Dublin today...As Ki's definitely not going anywhere..."
"Now?" Shane asked.
"Yeah...now." He looked at Diana, who had calmed down a bit and was looking at them now.
"Can I come with you Shane?" She asked him, almost begging. "I gotta get outta here...." She stood up.
"Okay...then let's go..." Shane said, taking her hand.
"They're going..." Bryan told Nicky.
"They who?...and why can't Kian...?"
"I'll explain later." Bryan said, hanging up.
"But please someone call if Shir's condition changes..." Diana looked back to Bryan once more.
"Yes...I'll ask Kian to do that." Bryan told her, then going towards Shiri's room.
Shane then looked at Diana and softly pulled her "Let's go..." He quietly said.
"Yeah. Let's go..." Diana looked towards Shiri's room, then walked off with Shane. "Ki....I'm going to Louie with Nix and Mark....I'll be back soon." he said.
"Okay..." Kian said, still holding on to Shiri.
"Oh and Shane went to the airport with Diana, call them or me if there's any news." Bryan added. Seeing Kian nod, he quickly exited the room.
