Diana went to Shiri's room as she didn't know where else to go.
"Shiri...." Diana came , slamming the door. She was crying.
"Whoa Di, please don't smash the hospital apart!". Shiri said with a cheerful voice that made Diana cry even more. "Di...what's wrong?" Shiri asked after noticing that she was sobbing.
"Nothing..." Diana managed to say between sobs.
"Y'know, people don't really cry when they don't have a reason for it. So...what's your reason?" Shiri got up and was sitting on her bed now.
The main reason that had made Diana cry, had been Shiri's illness and she sure wasn't gonna tell her about it. And the kiss that she got from Shane, added a lot to the confusion. Diana wanted to forget about the kiss, for now anyway. There were a lot bigger problems than that.
Shiri was waiting for an answer and Diana didn't know what to tell her.
"I'm....I'm just really frustrated...and worried about you.. that's all." Diana said, trying to sound convincing.
"Awwww....don't worry Di...and anyway, it's not like I'm gonna die." She said with a stupid grin on her face. Now Diana's tears were rolling, like rain, from her eyes. She turned away from Shiri, gazing out of the window.
Shiri laid back on to her bed. "I'm so tired..." she yawned.
"Go to sleep, okay?" Diana told her, sounding really concerned.
"Okay..." Shiri said, before dozing off.
"Oh God.." Diana quietly said , still looking out the window, at the busy streets.
"YOU WHAT???" Kian's yelling could've been heard to the whole hospital.
"If you don't stop yelling we're gonna have to throw you out mister." A doctor nearby, told Kian.
"Sorry.. " he whispered to the doctor, then turned back to Shane. "Why did you do that for??" He now spoke in a bit lower voice. "I don't know, I just...just felt like kissing her..." Shane tried to explain. "She was crying and seemed so fragile and...well...I was trying to comfort her...and..." he went on.
"By kissing her...God, that's so Shane-alike" he said, then suddenly looked at Shane, puzzled.
"Why was she crying?" Shane didn't have a chance to finish as his mobile rang. Kian looked at the ringing mobile, annoyed. "Yep?" Kian answered.
"Ki...hey, Mark here."
"Yea...what's up?" Kian asked him. "I just wanted to ask you what happened to that girl...erm...Shiri's sister.....what was her name again?" Mark got stuck.
"Um..." Kian looked at Shane now. "Shane, what was that girl's name?" he asked him.
"What girl?" Shane looked at him puzzled. "The one we were just talking about..." Kian said.
"Oh...erm....I...I don't know..." he said, looking funny.
"What??" Kian started, almost forgetting Mark on the other end of the line. "Erm....don't know....what about her?" Kian asked Mark. "Well, it's just that when I left the hospital, she ran past me, crying..." He said, sounding a bit concerned.
"We'll see what's wrong...kay?"
"Okay.....see ya then." Mark said as he hung up.
"What? What happened to her?" Shane panicked.
"I don't know...Mark said she left the hospital, crying..." Kian said.
"I gotta find her..."
"Great, Shane...you kissed a girl and you don't even know her name!" Kian looked at Shane. "You've got into a huge soup." He added.
"Whatever." Shane said, leaving Kian behind.
"Wait, SHANE! Where are you going??" Kian yelled, but Shane was too far to hear him already.
"Great....now what?" Kian looked around himself. Then walked back to the seats, near Shiri's room.
About 5 minutes later he called Shane.
*Ring Ring* Shane's mobile rang. "Yea?" he answered it. You could hear from his voice that he'd been running.
"Where are ya?" Kian asked him.
"To tell you the truth...I have no idea!" Shane said, a bit confused.
"Huh? God...only YOU can do that!" Kian got up from his seat.
"Anyway, I'll find my way back." Shane said, not even a bit worried about himself. "Any sign of her?" He asked.
"Nope..." Kian answered, in the same time sitting back to the chair.
"Kay...I'll call Bry and ask him come and pick me up." Shane said, still walking along the street he was at. "Or not...wait!" he suddenly said. "I'm back where I started..." He said, sounding really annoyed, but at the same time being happy. "Argh...okay, come upstairs. I'll go see how's Shiri doing..." Kian said and hung up.
Five minutes later Shane was behind the door that lead to Shiri's room. "She's still sleeping?" he asked Kian.
"Yeah.."
An hour later they were in Shiri's room.
"What do you mean she's gone?" Shiri looked at them, with a puzzled look on her face. "Diana never told me she had super powers!! She can't just disappear into thin air!" she added.
"I...I mean, we haven't seen her, Diana...for more than an hour now." Shane said, with a look of guilt in his eyes. Then he moved his eyes to the floor.
"Weird..." Shiri thought out loud.
"Not really." Kian said. "Considering what happened..." He thought.
"Her name's Diana." Shane thought. "What a pretty name..." He looked at a wall in front of him.
After another hour they got really worried. "Where is she?" Shiri panicked.
Shane was walking round the room the whole time. In fact, you could even see a pace if you'd look good enough! "It's all my fault..." He had been repeating that sentence for the past hour. Shiri had got pretty annoyed of that already. "Look...shut up...it's not your fault....how can it be your fault??"
"It's my fault." Shane said once again, not hearing what Shiri had said.
"Believe me, it can..." Kian quietly said.
"Argh...you're making me go crazy, both of you." Shiri gave them an annoyed look.
Suddenly there was a sound. They all looked to the direction of the door that had been opened by....Diana.
"Di!!" Shiri jumped out of her bed, scaring Kian with that.
Kian got up from where he was sitting. Shane walked up to Diana. "Where were you?" He asked. She looked up at him with her blue eyes and you could clearly see that she'd been crying.
"Di...what happened?" Shiri too, walked to her.
"We were so worried about you..." Kian added.
Shane was looking at Diana, waiting for an answer. So were the others.
